After the whole event of her brother Racetrack being kidnaped and his twin sister Katherine Higgins took his place so he could live.

One day, Oscar walked up to her cell knocking:"Brought you lunch" he said sternly but gentle as Katie looked at the guy:"How can you expect me to eat and pretend like nothing happend?" She snarled quietly as Oscar rolled his eyes, left the lunch in front of her cell before leaving.

Katie after silently eating her lunch, she decided to crawl out of her cell, she walked down the refuge halls chilling sensation ran down her spine.

Then suddenly saw something strange and glowing so she decided to investigate.

The girl studied the beautiful glowing rose as Oscar walked out of the shadows growling protecting the flower like his own life.

Oscar glared at the girl right in front of him:"What do you think your doing?! What are you doing here?!" He snaped as Katie tried to explain:"Wait i-i c-can explain" he didn't listen and threw her out of his room as the girl ran out of the building hiding inside an allie.

Little did she knew was that Outcast Brooklyn Newsies walked closer Katie ready to attack.

She tried to defend herself when suddenly a shadow covered her body it was non other than Oscar Delancey who came to protect her.

Soon the battle ended, the boys left as Oscar fell to the floor hurt and unconsence.

Katie was about to leave but then came back, helped him back inside the refuge to cure his wounds.

Oscar groaned in pain:"That hurts!" He snaped as Katie glared at him:"Stay calm and i'll cure you!" She said as Oscar sighed:"If you didn't ran away, this? Wouldn't have never happend" Katie still glaring at him:"Then you need to control your temper!" She snaped.

Oscar was about to say something but stayed quiet, Katie looked at him once she finished cleaning up his wounds:"By the way, thanks for saving me" she said quietly as Oscar nods tenderly:"Your welcome" he said quietly as well.
