Avu was remembering those past memories. Her eyes were filled with tears. Those memories were tearing her apart.
She always dreamt about spending her whole life in Sid's arms. But now she is even hesitating to hug him. For one second she thought to leave everything and run away. At least she won't have to see him everyday and remember her past and then realise that they can never be together. She will never be able to give him happiness he deserves. He don't deserve someone who is already broken beyond repair. Her heart was drowning towards that beautiful pair of eyes, but her body was hesitating. She was not able to decide anything.

Later she looks at that Ring given by him. Kissed it. And wiped her tears. She determines to control herself, Her feelings. Because he doesn't deserve someone like her. He deserves the best, someone like Ritika. She is beautiful, daring, strong and she is not like her. She will always keep him happy.

Jai enters in her room. He saw her staring at ring. Her eyes were looking puffy. He came to her and hugged her. She hugged him back and started crying on her shoulder.

"You love him so much." Jai said caressing her hair slowly.

"Yes Jai. But I don't deserve him. He deserves the best. And I am....." She couldn't say further and hide her face in his chest. A lone tear escapes from Jai's eyes too. How can any brother see his sister going through this.

"No Avu, never say this. You are the best and no one can be better than you. You are the strongest girl I have ever seen. For me you are most beautiful girl in this whole world from heart too." Jai said.

"I know how much you love him, And he deserves the best . But I want you to know that no one can be best for him than you. And no one can be best for you than him. You both know each other more than anyone, you both have best bonding and you both care and love each other. You are perfect couple." Jai said.

"Jai how can you say he loves me?" Avu asked.

"Woh... Actually I meant as a friend." Jai said. He knew Sid loved Avu. But he promised Sid that he will not tell Avu until he confesses his feelings. But then everything happened. And now Sid has girlfriend too. Of course he is happy for Sid. But still, one part of him wants Sidneet to be together. Care for each other, love each other and heal every wounds of each other, fight every problem together and complete each other.

"I know Jay, you are saying this because I am your sister. But, Jai you have to understand. Me and Sid can never be together. But her heart shattered hundred times saying this. She couldn't imagine that sid forgot her and moved on. But it is true that he has girlfriend and he didn't recognized her. What was she in his life? She was his best friend who left him for her further studies, nothing more than that.

"Avu I know you are not saying it from heart. I know you are in pain. And I can't do anything about it. How bad brother I am? I couldn't protect you that day and now I can't do anything for you." Jai said and started crying.

He was feeling helpless. He knew nothing was in his hand. But he promised Avu to protect her always and keep her happy. And he couldn't do either.

"Jai please don't cry. You are the the best brother. You supported me, took care of me, gave me strength to fight against this world and myself, when everyone was against me you stood up for me, fought with mom-dad for me. You always tried to protect me. But destiny wanted something else. It's not your fault. Don't even dare to blame yourself for any of this. If you truly love me." Avu said and hugged him.

"It's not you, Its me. I am cursed. Everyone bears so much with me. I defamed my family, I am not pure, you always supported me and see today you are crying because of me. It's good that sid stays away from me. Otherwise he will also have to bear." Avu said.

"No Avu... It's not your fault. Please don't say this. You are the purest soul. No one can define your purity. You not cursed, you are lucky. See till you were happy and with us, nothing went wrong. Everyone was so happy. But everything got worse when you became sad. So your smile is lucky. If you will smile everything will be good." Jai said.

"You don't understand.." Avu said.

Jai made Avu sleep and went out of room.
