The pain you caused me,
The love I felt for you,
The neglect you gave me.

All of these things I keep with me,
Digging them into myself,
Getting lost in the pain.

I do this because,
I don't want to forget,
I want to stay in the suffering.

They tell tell me it's not healthy,
But it's only the good things in life that can kill you.

So I keep reminding myself,

I keep myself in the pain.

I do all of it because I don't want to forget you,
And I'm afraid I couldn't if I tried.

So I've made me peace staying here,
