the date
Justin's POV
After seeing sky with Max my hatred for him grew into something I couldn't explain. I wanted to rip his head off his body. I walked through the corridor deep into my thoughts when I noticed a crowd gathering by the girls locker room. I was curious so I walked over to see what the problem was.
"Hey bro, what's going on here?" I calmly asked a guy that was standing at the entrance. He turned to face me before adjusting his glasses.
" They found the body of a girl inside, I was told that someone slit her throat open." He spoke with an amuse look on his face.
I pushed my way pass the crowd so I could get a look at the deceased girl. As I got inside I could see the pool of crimson and a drag mark as if someone pulled her across the floor, the blood stopped at a locker where the bloody body of Kimberly laid. Kimberly was one of the girls I dated, we were together for about a month and seeing her like this made me want to puke.
I quickly covered my mouth and ran out of the locker pushing everyone aside. I stood in the corridor watching everyone as they went in and came out, then I saw sky, she walked pass the locker without looking at anyone.
"Sky!" I called out to her causing her to stop and look at me.
"What do you want?" She annoying asked with a frown on her face.
"Did you hear about Kimberly?" I asked causing her to look up at me. Her frown slowly turned into a wide grind and her eyes slowly glitched as if what I had ask amused her.
"She got what was coming to her," she smiled before walking away, leaving me in complete and utter silence.
Sky's POV
They had finally found the body causing everyone to gather at the locker room, some of the students even went home in fear and panic.
I walked across the corridor with a bright smile on my face. Everyone looked scare, including Justin. This amused me so much.
School was out earlier than expected so without wasting anytime I began making my way home. I didn't stop to see if Natalia would be coming over. As I was walking I heard someone calling my name. Turning around I saw max running towards me, he was wearing a black and white jacket suit.
"Hey, I was thinking we could go on that date now?" He asked with a pleading voice.
I smiled before shaking my head. " Sure but I'm going home to change first," I told him before quickly walking away.
I hurried home and up to my room where I found my red dress, I quickly took off the clothes I was wearing and pulled on the dress along with a silver heels. I didn't stop to fix my hair nor to get into any make-up. Without wasting anymore time I hurried down the stairs to see max waiting patiently.
"Are you ready?" He asked as I made my way towards him.
I smiled then nod my head as he took my hand and we exited the house.
I was about to begin walking when max immediately pull me backwards.
"There's the drive we're going with." He spoke as a cob pulled up at the gate. He held my hand as we walked to the car and got it.
I was amazed when I saw the car pulling up in front Haslin's restaurant. This was the most expensive restaurant in the entire city. This was something I know because Justin had once took me to the same place.
"Can you afford this place?" I asked causing max to crack a smile.
"I want you to have the best, you're so beautiful you deserve the world." He replied.
I looked at him as he exit the car, trying to look all manly and decent. I was shocked at how much effort he had put into this date.
After walking inside we were given a table close to the back window. Max handed me the menu to order whatever I wanted but I was a bit nervous. Everything on the menu was so expensive.
"I'll have the water," I told him but, he shook his head before calling for the waitress.
"We'll both have the lobster dipped in butter and also the salad with extra cheese and a bottle of wine." He told her with a smile on his face.
My mouth dropped because I've known max for about a year now and he's never showed any sign of being rich, plus the lobster cost a lot of money.
"What are you doing?" I whispered as he stared at me with his kissable pink lips.
He smiled "you deserve the best sky," he told me.
It was the best thing anyone had ever done for me, it was even better than the date I went on with Justin.
"Let's just go back to your place," I told him but he declined.
"We'll go after you eat," he said, as he watched as the waitress brought the meal to the table. We both ate in silence, the meal was absolutely amazing.
"So, can I ask you something?" Max asked as soon as we had finished eating.
"It's your mouth, so you're free," I answered as he stared at me.
He smiled then shook his head in slow motion.
"I'll ask you when we get back to my place." He spoke before slowly getting up and pushing under his chair.
"Are you ready." He asked me as I was about to get up.
"Yes I'm ready," I replied. He quickly called the waitress over and gave her something. I couldn't see what it was because it was fold into both their hands.
"Let's go," he said as we both exited the restaurant. The time had went by so fast, it was already night when we walked outside. Max called a cob and we both waited patiently while having small talks and getting to know each other more.
"Why did you do all this and you don't even know me?" I asked as the car was pulling up towards us. Max just smiled before grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the car.
"Because you deserve it, plus I know you more than you think." He replied causing me to smile. It was the best date in a long time.
