Third POV

(Y/n) and Fushiguro was waiting outside for Itadori under the rain while looking back at the building.

'The innate Domain's closed off! The special grade is dead! Now we just need Itadori/Yuuji-kun to return safely...' both Fushiguro and (Y/n) thought but their eyes widened.

"Yuuji-kun?" (Y/n) asked hoping that it's Itadori.

"Sorry, but his not coming back." A deeper voice said behind them. The person walked a bit and revealed Sukuna.

"N-no, t-that can't be true." (Y/n) said, her hand covering her mouth.

"Don't be so frightened. I'm in a great mood right now. Let's chat for a bit." Sukuna stated and walked towards in front of the two teens.

"This is what he get for trying to use me without any kind of pact. Feels like his having trouble switching back." Sukuna grabbed on to his shirt. "Still though... It's only a matter of time." He ripped his shirt revealing his abs and the markings.

"So I thought about what I can do right now." He raised his arm, making (Y/n) and Fushiguro's eyes widened.

"N-no!" (Y/n) cried, as Sukuna thrust his hand into his chest and grab a hold of his heart.

"W-what are you..." Fushiguro stuttered.

The king of curses then pulled out the heart and hold it out in front of him.
"I'm taking this brat hostage."

"Hostage?!?!"

"Yeah, I can live without this, but that ain't true for the brat." He threw the heart and continued. "Switching out with me means he dies. Also... for good measure." Sukuna swallowed his finger that he got from battling a curse from earlier.

'Is that Sukuna's finger?!' thought (Y/n).

'Sukuna's finger! That special grade cursed spirit in there must have consumed it!' The black haired teen thought.

"With that, I'm free as a bird. You can be frightened now. I'll kill you! For no particular reason, and make that girl my wife!"

"Our position is reversed right now."

"Y-your wrong! Yuuji... Yuuji-kun's coming back! Even if it means he'll die! That's just who he is!" (Y/n) exclaimed as she can finally stand properly.

"That's right! His coming back!" Fushiguro agreed.

"You just give him too much credit. This guy's just a little tougher and denser than other humans. Just a moment ago, he was scared out of his mind, on the verge of death, and prattling on about his regrets and all that nonsense. I know for the fact that he doesn't have the guts to kill himself." Sukuna told them.

'His arm is restored! Healing... He can use reversed cursed technique. Sukuna's incarnated. Even if he can live without a heart, it should still be damaging him. I'll make him heal his heart before Itadori returns. I just have to make him believe that he can't beat me without a heart in his body! I can do that... When I couldn't even move with that special grade in front of me? It's not about whether I can. I have to do it!' Fushiguro thought and made a sign with his trembling hands.

From his shadow, his Nue came out and they both went towards the curse.

"I'm finally outside, after all. Let's use the open space." Sukuna said

Fushiguro went for a kick but the king of curses dodged it, along with the punches.

Sukuna look at Fushiguro once he stepped back. "Interesting. You use shikigami, but you still come at me yourself?"

The teens shikigami was behind Sukuna, and Fushiguro was ready to throw a punch. Once Nue was close they both attacked but Sukuna dodged.

Fushiguro run towards him and punched and kicked Sukuna but Sukuna still keep dodging or pushed his leg away.

"More! More! More!" He exclaimed as he keep dodging the punches, (Y/n) just keep watching them fight, because she was useless this time because she couldn't even walk, run, or fight properly because of the damages that her dark boots caused.

"Put more curse behind it when you strike me!" Sukuna the hit him with the back of his hand, making Fushiguro to spit out blood but luckily he regained his balance.

'Orochi!' he called in his mind. Suddenly his snake came out of his shadow and takes Sukuna in its mouth.

"Gang up on him!"

Nue's wings became electric and was heading towards Sukuna, but at the last second he put his head down and both shikigami moved so he can get electrocuted.

In the end it still failed when Sukuna busted out of the snake's mouth making it disintegrate.

"Hey, what did I say? let's use the open space!" Sukuna threw Fushiguro making the teen flew through the tree leaves and through the air.

He then opened his eyes and saw the curse there long at him, Sukuna then kicked him sending him crashing into the building and sliding into another building.

"Megumi-kun!" Shouted the worried (Y/n) as she prepared her talismans.

Fushiguro ended up in the air again and kicked by the king of curses. Making the teen fly into a different building.

(Y/n) gritted her teeth. "Damnit! I'm the senpai here but I couldn't even do anything!" She whispered as she watched Fushiguro got beaten up by Sukuna.

"Your risking your life over stupid shit. This brat isn't even worth that much." Sukuna stated

"Then why did you bother saving me?!" Itadori's voice rang inside Fushiguro's head.

"If I have the time to curse someone, I'd rather spend it thinking about those precious to me." A girl's voice also rang in his head.

'I hope this help.' thought (Y/n).

"Talisman bending!" (Y/n) made the talismans to make Sukuna stop moving.

"What is this?" Sukuna asked as he struggled to get out of (Y/n)'s talismans.

Fushiguro look at (Y/n). "Do it now! Megumi-kun!" She shouted

"Sacred treasure swing and ring, ring -eight grip-!" Fushiguro suddenly stopped. "Just so you know, I don't have any logical reason for saving you back then. Even if it was dangerous, I couldn't bear to see a good person like you die, I did have reservations, but ultimately, it was for selfish emotional reasons. That's fine though, I'm not a hero, I'm a jujutsu sorcerer. So I've never regretted saving you."

The marking on Sukuna disappeared meaning thay Itadori was now back in control. "I see." Itadori grinned while scratching the back of his head.

"You really are smart Fushiguro. You've put more though into this than I have. I think your conviction's a proper one, but I don't think mine is wrong either." Suddenly blood gushed out from his mouth. "Oh, sorry, I'm almost done for. Guess I won't have to worry about you, (Y/n)-senpai, Kugisaki, or Gojo-sensei. Live a long life." He then fell lifeless to the ground, making the talismans turned into dust.

Fushiguro felt his tears flow out and let it mix with the rain so it won't be noticable, while (Y/n) cried hugging Itadori's body.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't do anything, even though I'm your senpai." (Y/n) cried in despair.
