Alan Reyes

When I let her go 5 years ago, I regreted it. I thought I can move on but it made me go crazy. I want her and I only want her. I tried to find her dad and try to make an appointment with him to ask where his daughter is but I ended up not getting any information.

As I go to school again to be a pharmacist, I kept going to Danielle's dad to ask for her location. I hired 10 PIs to find her but no results. Her dad hid her well that's why it's hard for the PIs to find him.

Suddenly her dad called me to go to the hospital, I thought it was her who got sick. That's why I rushed to the hospital quickly. When I got in, I saw her walk pass me. I called her and she turned to me.

Suddenly she has a kid and my world crumbled knowing it but when I saw the kid's face. I'm positive that's mine because there's no denying it. His face looked exactly like mine.

This made me want her more. I can't believe that she hid it from me. Why did she hide it from me? 5 years has passed and I don't even know that I have a kid.

"Please don't leave me again." I said to Danielle as I wiped her tears. She looked down to the ground and I held her hands tightly.

"You don't know how much.. I miss you." I said and she looked up to me.

"But.. why didn't you move on? I thought you're going to be happy. You're living your dreams now?" She asked.

"Move on? I'm far from moving on." I said honestly.

"I don't know."

"Why didn't you tell me? You're pregnant when you came to my house huh?" She nodded and I looked up to the sky completely trying to get myself together.

"Why? We can raise the child together. You and me!"

"I'm living with guilt, Alan. I live in fear. I spent 13 years plotting a revenge and then I used you. I used you to make my revenge easier." She said as she took a step back.

"But you don't have to anymore. I told you that I understand what you did. I don't care about it, I want to be with you."

"Alan, please.. I'm happy now. I'm happy living with Oscar and my dad."

"You're selfish, Danielle." I said and she turned to me disbelief.

"You only think about yourself at this point, you don't even care about my feelings too huh?"

"Alan." She sighed.

"He's my child and you know that I can take him away fron you right?" I said and her eyes widen. I think this can be a way for me to get closer to her again.

"No."

"Then I suggest you cooperate with me. I want to see my kid every now and then."

"Alan.. please.."

"I'm sorry, Danielle. There's no other way, he's my kid. I have the rights to see him and you can't preventing his dad to see him right?" I asked.

"Alan.. please.." She begged and I walked away from her. I made my way to her dad's room. Before I could go there, Danielle stopped me. She dragged me out again.

"Alan please.."

"Have you.. ever.. even once.. think of me?" I asked her sadly.

"I do.. a lot. Everyday.. not a day without thinking about you." She answered and I was surprised hearing it.

"Everytime I look at Oscar, he reminds me of you. God knows how much I cried for the past 5 years." She said.

"Why didn't you try to contact me?" I asked.

"I don't know because I was afraid."

"I told you that I don't care-"

"It's not easy for me, Alan. It's not easy for me to.. cope with the emotions. The guilt and the trauma that I'm going through. If I don't have Oscar, I don't know how can I cope with my life." She cut me.

"Can we please start over? 5 years of torture already enough." I said and she bit her lips.

"I'm ready to throw everything that I have to be with you, please don't push me away again."

"Alan.."

"You can't push me away anymore. I saw Oscar already and if you're trying to run away for me, I don't think it will be good for you because I will fight to see Oscar." I said and she ran her hands through her hair completely frustrated.

"Alan.. but.."

"Please give me a chance.." I said and she sighed.

"Where do you live now?" I asked.

"Santorini." She answered.

"Great, I'll go there after your dad got discharge from the hospital." I said as I walked pass her to go to her dad's room but she stopped me.

"Please.. don't take Oscar away from me. He's the only thing I got." She said.

"If you promise that you will give me a chance and let me see my kid." I said and she nodded. We walked together back to her dad's room. Her dad greeted me and Danielle took Oscar with her. She went out again and I followed her.

"Mommy, I'm hungry." Oscar said and I couldn't take my eyes off him. He's too adorable and I can't believe that he's my son. It was awkward for me to look at him but he was staring back at me.

"What do you want to eat?" Danielle asked.

"Uhmm.. I want chicken." He said and I stopped Danielle.

"Can I hold him?" I asked and Oscar turned to me. He reached his arms out to me and I picked him up. In an instant, there's a bond between us right away. We both looked at each other and he started to touch my face.

"I forgot something, let me go back. Wait here.." Danielle said and I nodded. She left us alone and I looked at Oscar.

"Oscar.." I called him.

"Yeah?"

"I'm your dad." I said announcing myself and he looked at me confuse.

"Dad?"

"Yeah." I nodded.

"Really?"

"Yeah." I nodded and he smiled.

"Okay."
