『the devils hand-in-hand』
⋅⋆✯✼⋆⋅
Between Stefan deciding to steal Klaus' siblings from him to now, Bodie would say that he wasn't exactly pleased with anything going on in life. As much as he knew that there was a chance that he lost his place by the friends that he kinda made—as much as he knew that they were more Henry's friends more than anything—and he knew that no matter what he wouldn't be able to go back into them. And it wasn't like he was fully with Klaus either, no matter how much he wanted to let old feelings come back, Bodie knew better, he knew that he needed to be close to Klaus to make sure that Klaus doesn't lose himself too much.
He knew that him being around Klaus was the worst thing for him, but all of this was much bigger than him. Bodie knew that he was playing himself a lot, given that he knows what he's like and how much he's losing just by playing this game, but he'd rather do this than do nothing. That and the fact that he really wasn't sure on how to feel about the group that Henry likes, they all seem to rub Bodie the wrong way, though he wasn't sure if it was because they were all young and annoying or the fact that he was an old bastard whose annoyed by anything.
Either way, he knew that he fucked himself over either way. He knew that there was no turning back from what he done, and he now knew that there was a chance that when Klaus finds out the truth, he—Bodie—will be more fucked than anything. He knew that he was overthinking all of this, but how could he not? He was comfortable, he was living comfortably, but he supposed that his own personal fear of Mikael and knowing what Mikael would do if he had the chance to kill Klaus. And as much as he knows that Klaus can defend himself—he's seen it more than once—there will always be that fear of losing Klaus in a way that he wouldn't return from.
Though, even thinking that, he knows that the second that he decides to tell the Mikaelson's about what he done, then he will lose Klaus and probably wouldn't be able to return from it no matter how much he wants to. Bodie knew that either way, he was hurting the people that he loves more than anything, and there was nothing that he could do about it as a whole. And he knew that it was something that he would have to live with.
Bodie would say that he needed to enjoy his time with Klaus while it lasted, but at the same time he was somewhat hating everything in his life at the moment to even enjoy anything. Klaus had been raging for however long about Stefan for a period before deciding to do some weird shit with his hybrids that Bodie wasn't really paying much attention to. He knew that he should be paying attention to what Klaus is doing if he wanted to make sure that Klaus doesn't lose himself too much, but he found that it was rather difficult and the fact that he knew that Klaus wouldn't trust him enough to share plans or anything with him.
"Bodie." Klaus harshly said, drawing Bodie out of his own thoughts. "Are you listening?"
Bodie looked up from where he was. He was half laying on the floor with his legs up on the sofa and was previously looking at the ceiling of the home that Klaus got specifically for himself and the rest of his family. Now, Bodie was using the table for support as his legs slowly fell from the sofa, his attention back on Klaus. He pressed his lips together. "You lost me the minute that you started ranting about how you'll kill Stefan when you get your hands on him." He paused for a moment. "I have a feeling that I lost focus a little earlier because that's not what you said." He shrugged, he knew that he should be focusing, but at the same time, he knew that it was rather hard.
As much as he wants to pay attention to everything that's happening, he realised that he found it rather hard. He tried to justify it in his mind that he was doing this to make sure that nothing that Klaus did was too drastic, but he found that no matter what, there were going to be people that he cares about that will hate him just for being on the same side as Klaus. That and the fact that he knows that if he does go back to Henry and such then there's the possibility that Klaus would hate him as well.
Now, he looked at Klaus, who looked as if he were about to murder Bodie where he laid. "You're lucky that I need you."
"Oh yay, I can call the morgue and let them know that they don't need to wait on me." Bodie muttered. He found himself, sitting up straight and looking at Klaus more this time. "What do you plan to do? I mean, I would say that we could track one of your siblings, but that would mean getting our hands on a witch that has no intentions on helping us. That and the fact that I'm sure that William wouldn't want to help you know that you've let him back home to his brother, and Will wouldn't want to leave his brother again."
Klaus glared at him. "Enough."
"I was going to suggest having your hybrids follow Elena and her friends around to see if they say anything of interest." Bodie suggested. "Or, that might be something that you've already done or you're using the hybrids for something creepy."
"I said, enough!" Klaus half-yelled
Bodie rolled his eyes, knowing that there was a chance that if he spoke once more, then Klaus might decide to fight him or something. That and the fact that both knew that neither would win and would end in a blood bath if others got involved. That and the fact that he was sure that he was overthinking, like he normally does, which means that there was a chance that he needed to relax a little rather than trying to think of what might happen.
He sighed. "What's the plan, Klaus?" He knew that the chance of Klaus sharing any form of plan with him was low, but at the same time there was a chance that Klaus might share some form of a plan as a whole or part of a plan that's part of something bigger to make sure that Bodie stays with him.
Klaus—despite looking as if he was debating life—somewhat smiled then. "I have already sorted some things out that you don't need to worry yourself over. All I need you to do is make sure that you keep to your promise to my sister."
Bodie wished that Henry were here just so that Henry could throw him out of the window. As much as he knew that he said that he would tell them all the truth and that he knows that his family want him to tell the truth, there was a part of him that regretted everything a lot more than needed to be. "Does this mean that once you get all of your siblings back, you're going to undagger them?"
"Possibly." Klaus stated. There was this look on his face which was enough to know that there was a chance that Bodie wasn't going to get much more from Klaus about the plan as a whole. No matter how much Bodie asked about the plan, he knew that he wasn't going to get it and that was something that he would have to deal with. He knew that he would have to trust Klaus, and that was something that Bodie was hesitant about as a whole, he knew that he wouldn't be able to trust Klaus and he was sure that Klaus didn't trust him.
"You know, if and when you get them back, if you want me to tell you my secret, you'll have to undagger them, right?" Bodie asked. He knew that there was a chance that Klaus might try and play him, might try, and make Bodie tell him no matter what, but he knew what his promise was, and he intends to keep it.
Klaus somewhat shrugged, a slight smile on his face, one that would normally annoy him, but Bodie just found him staring at Klaus. "I'm aware. Though, I do intend to find out earlier than that."
Bodie hummed. "Unless you've forgotten, Niklaus, I still have a stake and if you so much as threaten to reveal my secret before the intended time, then I won't hesitate to threaten you with it." There was a smile on Bodie's face though the smile that was previously on Klaus' face fell, as if he were less than impressed as a whole.
Klaus came walking towards Bodie, though he looked towards Bodie with a rather threatening look as if Klaus intended to fight him in some way. He tilted his head and Bodie found himself just watching Klaus as if he were the most impressive thing that he's seen. He knew that these thoughts about Klaus was something that shouldn't cross his mind, but he found that it was always rather hard not to think that even when Bodie hated Klaus. How could he fully hate Klaus fully and unconditionally, when Klaus was. . .well, Klaus?
"Threatening me, in my own home?" Klaus asked, glaring at Bodie. "I should kill you for that."
Bodie shrugged. "You could. But then you wouldn't know where my stake is, would you? Meaning that you wouldn't be able to use it against anyone whenever you like. Not only that, but you could do with me by your side." He'd rose to his feet as he spoke, holding the gaze that Klaus gave him. "You need me more than anything, Klaus, now more than ever. You don't have Stefan to play with, your sister has vanished, and you've lost your family. Your hybrids aren't enough, and you know that, you need me more than I need you."
Klaus tilted his head slightly. "And how do you know that I need you?"
"History." Bodie told. "Whenever you've daggered all of your siblings, whenever your father had previously gotten involved in your life, you've always needed me even when you know that you don't need me."
Klaus was silent, as if he were afraid to talk as a whole, though he knew that there was a chance that Klaus wasn't afraid, he knew that there was a chance that Klaus was still going to plan to do something that was going to affect Bodie in some way. "I hate you, Bodie."
Bodie somewhat smiled at that, shaking his head, though he didn't say anything. "What's on for today? Planning to threaten teenagers more?"
"I was planning to make a bargain with the doppelgänger," Klaus stated, "and you are on lookout for where my siblings could be kept."
"You realise that there's a chance that Stefan could have taken them out of town, right?" Bodie asked. "I wouldn't know where Stefan, of all people, would hide your siblings. I'm surprised that throughout all the time that you've spent with Stefan that you wouldn't know where he'd make an attempt to hide them." He half shrugged then. "You know him best."
Klaus glared at him as if he didn't want to hear Bodie's voice as a whole or didn't like what was coming out. "You will do what I ask."
Bodie pouted. "I'm not one of your hybrids, Klaus, you can't order me around." He then sighed. "Look, I wouldn't know where Stefan would hide them, there's more of a chance that they'd be hidden if Stefan manages to convince those that hate you to hide them for him—which would be unlikely given that everyone's more likely to kill your siblings more than anything."
Klaus didn't say anything for a moment, and there was a small part of Bodie that wondered whether or not he was going to listen to more of Klaus telling him to do as he's told or that he should bend to do whatever Klaus wanted. Instead, Klaus glared at him as if he were debating everything. Or at least, that's what Bodie thought Klaus was doing, that is until Klaus tilted his head slightly. "Just try and find out where my siblings could be kept, and I'll try not to kill anyone you love."
Bodie sighed. "Good luck with that." As much as he knew that there was always a chance of Klaus managing to kill either Will or Henry, he knew that both of the Woodford would try and take Klaus down with them. Though, there was that small voice in Bodie's mind that tried to convince him otherwise, that there was a chance that Will wouldn't hurt Klaus even if it meant defending himself, but that was something that Bodie wasn't too sure on.
"Just try and find them." Klaus said. "And then come back here before sundown."
"You're giving me a curfew?" Bodie asked. "What? To make sure that I don't abandon you?" He was half-joking, but the quick look on Klaus' face before it was hidden behind the thick walls told Bodie that it was something that he shouldn't have said. He sighed and rose to his feet. "I'll come back, okay? You know I will."
Bodie wasn't sure what he expected Klaus to say or do, he supposed that the small part in Bodie that longed for Klaus to touch him like how he used to. But he knew that the likelihood of Klaus and him ever getting back together was slim, given that everything that they've done towards each other and what Bodie knows he'll have to admit—he knew that his secret, the longer it remained a secret, would be the reason why everything between them fails.
There was a small part of Bodie that wondered whether or not he wanted to find the rest of the Mikaelson siblings, primarily because he knows that he would have to tell them all the truth. And he knows that once he does tell them the truth, then they'd all be out to kill him and that was something that he didn't want to do as a whole. He cared too much about keeping the relationship that he has that he's willing to keep everything a secret.
"I'll come back." Bodie repeated in more of a whisper. He knew that Klaus heard him the first time, but he was more saying it to himself than anything. He'll come back, he always does. He always comes back.
Nothing else was spoken between the two, Klaus let him leave, and for a moment Bodie thought that he could feel Klaus watching him as he left, but he knew that he was being delusional. Bodie found himself walking back to his car which was parked outside of Klaus' house, he didn't remember when he brought it here, though he supposed that he's been far too distracted as a whole to even take notice of a lot of things.
For a moment, he stood at the driver's side door with his hand on the handle. He knew that he needed to go, that he needed to do what was asked to do, but there was a part of him that wondered if what he's doing is the right thing. The only reason why he went to Klaus in the first place was because of Mikael, the only reason why he wanted to protect Klaus was because of his own fear of Mikael. And now he felt as if he had to stay by Klaus' side because he risked himself in order to protect Klaus from the white oak stake that Damon attempted to use on Klaus rather than himself.
He wondered whether or not he was doing the right thing. As much as he knew that what he was doing was wrong, there was still a large part of him that wondered whether or not he should commit to this as a whole. The young teenager voice in his head that's still heavily in love with Klaus was yelling at him, telling him that if he didn't commit then he'd rather his life be taken by the stake he still had. And as much as he wanted to fully commit to all of this, he knew better than anyone than to fully allow Klaus Mikaelson in once more. He knew that the amount of pain that being with Klaus again was going to cause, and he knew that this time he was going to be the one to cause the pain.
He knew that no matter what he felt, he wouldn't be able to survive what he knew he needs to do. Bodie thought of his parents, his family, and what they advised him to do, how they wanted him to tell the truth to the Mikaelson's about what he did. And as much as he wanted to share what he did, he was afraid of losing the only connection to his humanity left. He knew that he was being selfish over it, that he needed to tell them, that he needed to tell the truth, but he was afraid.
Bodie shook his head, opening the door to his car and getting in. Klaus had offered at one point that one of his Hybrids could drive him about, but Bodie had told him that he prefers to do this himself, given that it helps clear his mind. And that's what he knew that he needed the most, he needed to very much clear his head if he was meant to help Klaus get his siblings back. He didn't even know where to begin. He knew that there was no way that he could convince Henry or Will or even the Snow's to do a spell in order to track them, he knew that if he even showed his face back at home, there was a chance that both Henry and Will were going to kill him.
⋅⋆✯✼⋆⋅
He knew that coming back home was going to be something that he was going to regret. Even as he pulled up in front, he knew that there was a chance that he was going to get yelled at or have his bones snapped. And for a moment, he knew that there was a chance that he deserved it, that in their eyes they were getting rid of Klaus, someone who's ruined their lives, but at the same time he hoped that there was a chance that they could understand.
Bodie knew that there was a chance that they wouldn't understand his point of view, that they'd never fully known his fear of Mikael and his desperation in keeping Klaus alive because of the fact that he wouldn't know what his life would be like without him being alive. They didn't understand his feelings towards Klaus fully and as deeply as he did—and there were times that his own feelings were something that he didn't fully understand himself.
Bodie knew that there was a chance that neither of them would want to talk to him, that both Will and Henry would chose to hate Bodie for what he did and that was something that he knew that he couldn't blame them for as a whole. How could he blame them? They have every right to be angry, in fact, he was certain that they wouldn't even want to talk to him. But he wanted to try, he wanted to try and see if there was a chance that they would listen to what he wanted to say.
Gods, he knew that there was a chance that they wouldn't listen to him as a whole. He basically ruined their plan of getting rid of Klaus. He shook his head, he knew that there was no point in overthinking everything even though he knows what he's done could have broken their trust in him, but there was a small flicker of hope within him that hopes that there's a chance that they would listen to him.
He wasn't sure how long he was sitting outside of his home for, but when he decided to focus a little more, he realised that Henry was standing in front of Bodie's car with his arms crossed. Bodie was surprised that Henry hadn't exploded his car into flames, though he supposed that he should be grateful as a whole that Henry hadn't done that, given that he didn't have the energy to buy a new car.
However, the one thing that he forgot to take into account was Will. He knew that Henry had a bad temper, but Will was worse when something pissed him off. Now that he thought about Will, he wondered what Will would do to him—though, he didn't have to think about it more given the fact that Will had opened the door and dragged Bodie out of his car, making Bodie feel like that his brain was melting.
Bodie found himself yelling in pain, though he tried his best to hide how much it hurt. He didn't want to disturb the neighbours if he was screaming in pain, and it was difficult given the fact that it hurt much more than being made to change under the full moon. He knew that Will was just letting out his anger at the moment, but there was a small part of him that was worried just in case Will made an attempt to kill him.
"Can we at least do this inside, please?" Bodie asked through the pain.
For a moment there was silence—other than Bodie groaning through the witch-inflicting brain-melting headache—and Bodie wanted to wonder whether or not Will was going to release him from this pain. He knew that he deserved a lot more than this, but all that he wanted to do was at least explain his side, to explain that he was afraid. He knew that he didn't deserve their forgiveness and that was something that he wouldn't ask for, he knew better than ask for forgiveness, he knew that they would prefer it of he proved himself worthy of their trust once more and build it up.
After what felt like forever, the pain in his head faded, though by the look on Will's face he knew that there was a chance that he was in for a lot more. Henry had joined his brother's side and looked Bodie up and down like he was disgusted in Bodie for everything that he's ever done. He already felt guilty for everything that he did and even though he was trying to justify it in his mind, he knew that it would mean nothing for either of them. Bodie knew better than to betray both of them and yet he did betray them.
Bodie shut his eyes for a moment and let out a small sigh before raising to his feet. His head hung low, the pain—although gone—felt as if it was still lingering, no doubt that either Will or Henry had decided to give him more of a mild and constant headache until the decided that enough was enough. Both of the Woodford's turned their back on Bodie and it was enough for Bodie to know that he should follow after them.
After entering their home, there was a small part of Bodie that wanted to relax though he knew that it was something that he couldn't do. He knew that there was a chance that Henry would want to release his anger out on Bodie for everything that he did, and there was a part of Bodie that wanted it to happen so that it was out of the way. Though, the one thing that he hadn't expected was that it never came, and despite knowing that there was a chance that Henry was beyond angry with him, he was happy that it never came.
"I'm sorry." Bodie said. Although he knew that apologising wouldn't get him anywhere, he felt like that he needed to say it. "I know that you all hoped that using Mikael to get to Klaus would help get to him, and I know that I ruined it for you all."
"Why did you?" Will asked. There was always something chilling for Bodie whenever he knew that Will was angry, it was the fact that he always seemed so calm that was the most chilling. "Why did you ruin our plan?"
"Because it included Mikael." Bodie told. "And you both know what I'm like when it comes to Klaus." He sighed. "Look, I'm afraid of Mikel—not to the same degree as Klaus—because of what he did to my parents while I watched and after everything he's ever done. The thought of that vile man killing Klaus was something that I couldn't deal with. You both know that."
Henry turned to glare at Bodie, harsher this time. "Why? Just why? We all know that we deserve a Klaus free life, and you ruined all of that because of old feelings?"
Bodie sighed. "I know. And as I said, I'm afraid of Mikael, and all I wanted to do was protect Klaus. I needed to tell Klaus about it, he needed to be defended, especially against Mikael. I knew that you all would have had the white oak stake in your possession because of him and that was something that I couldn't have."
Something seemed to shift within Will then. "That's why you went to the Snow's." There was pain in his eyes as he spoke. "You hid the white oak stake that you had with the Snow's when you came back, and once you heard about their plan with Mikael, you got it back from them."
Henry stiffened. "He did what?"
Bodie closed his eyes for a moment, he knew that there was a chance that Henry would dislike the fact that Bodie has the white oak stake in his possession. He made what was more like a half-promise with Henry that he wouldn't have the white oak stake on him and that no matter what he would do his best to make sure that he never has to need it. They'd promised that Bodie would never have the white oak stake in his possession and that the stake would stay with someone trustworthy, someone that wouldn't have the need to betray either of them.
And yet, Bodie broke that. He took back all of that and he'd threatened the Snow's in the process just because he wanted to. As much as he knew that he'd promised Henry that he would never go to the Snow's to demand for the stake back, he wanted to believe that he was somewhat justified with his actions in getting the white oak stake back. And even though he thought himself justified, he knew that Henry would be more pissed off the fact that he broke his promise to him so long ago.
"I followed Bodie before everything happened, Leo and Elliot's grandparents weren't giving Bodie what he wanted." Will explained. "From the looks of it, they were going to give it to him, but Bodie might have threatened them." He paused for a moment. "I helped Bodie get it, but I thought that there was a chance that Bodie was going to help you lot."
The house shook then, and for a moment, Bodie thought that he should save himself and let all of this cool off. But he knew that he came here because he wanted to at least mend something and hopefully warn them in some way about Klaus and his missing siblings.
"Henry, we both know that Will is still under the control of Klaus." Bodie said before he could stop himself. "Will told Klaus that I would protect him, that I intended to keep my promise to my alpha—to Klaus' bio dad—and I'll always do that, no matter what."
As much as he knew that there was a chance that neither of them would believe him—and he knew that they wouldn't—he just hoped that there was a small part of them that could understand, at least. He knew that there was no way that he could explain it in a way that would make sense, he knew that he couldn't do it for if their coven leader given that the coven leader when they were just siphoners were their father who was an asshole to them.
He knew that there was a chance that no matter what he says to them, that they won't understand. They'd only see the relationship that both Klaus and he have. And no matter how much he wanted them to understand everything that he's explained, he knew that they'd hate him more than what they do now, he knew that they'd do hate him simply for not allowing them to have a Klaus free life.
Bodie sighed. "Look, as much as I know that the pair of you hate Klaus for multiple reasons, you've got to understand that no matter what, I'll always protect Klaus even when he doesn't need it. You both know that human emotions get heightened after becoming a vampire, and you both know that my love for Klaus grew once I turned as well as my desire to keep him safe. I don't have a choice in any of it anymore. Any time that Klaus is in danger, my need to protect him grows as well." He shut his eyes for a moment. "I don't have control when it comes to this." As much as he knew that he was the one that Klaus needed protection from, it didn't matter to him. If Klaus was targeted from Mikael, he needed to protect him because he knew that Mikael was more likely to kill Klaus than anything.
For a moment, nothing was said and there was a small moment where Bodie was close of just walking out of the house in hopes to avoid anything being said. But he knew that he intended to at least grab a few things beforehand and hoped to at least warn both Henry and Will about what Stefan pulled. He knew that they had a right to know about all of it, that there was a chance that Klaus would come to the pair of them and ask for them to track his siblings and given that there was a chance that Klaus still thought that Will was working with them, he'd expect Will to agree.
Henry turned to Bodie and there was a glare on his face. For a moment, Bodie thought to expect Henry to somehow kill him permanently. "You betrayed all of us. You ruined our plan for a Klaus free life. How do you want me to react to any of this?" His fists were clenched by his side. "I thought that there was a chance that you would side with us against Klaus, given that you weren't helping with getting rid of Klaus anyway, we had to resort to getting Mikael." He gave an annoyed sigh then. "You know, I wanted to tell them all about the white oak stake that the Snow's had just so then you could work with us, but I didn't because I knew it would be a betrayal of your trust. And you betrayed us—betrayed me—instead, all because of some promise that you don't need to keep anymore. Ansel is dead, you don't have to do what he says anymore."
Bodie didn't say anything, he just found himself looking down. What could he say? That he was sorry? He knew that the apology would be meaningless given that he was going to continue to work with Klaus anyway. As much as he knew that he could just stop working with Klaus, he knew that he couldn't, he knew that now he was working with Klaus once more, that he couldn't back out no matter how much he wanted to. He knew that the only way that he could stop working with Klaus was if the pair of them had a bad argument and there was nothing that they could argue about at the moment. The only thing that he could think of that could start an argument was his truth, but he'd already promised to tell when the Mikaelson's were all undaggered.
Bodie sighed, shaking his head. "None of this matters, Henry." He really didn't have the energy for this anymore. "Stefan has taken Klaus' siblings. He'll come and try to use both of you in hopes to find them, and the pair of you know what Klaus is like when he doesn't get what he wants. I would suggest to either hide or protect yourselves. He's pissed but he's not going to admit it."
He went to walk upstairs then, he knew that he shouldn't have walked away from either of them, but he felt drained already from having that conversation with them. He knew that he shouldn't have betrayed his brothers, but they got Mikael involved and that was something that he hated more than anything. All he needed to get was some of his clothes and maybe some of his things that he knew belonged to Kol and Elijah, that and he wanted to grab some things that Klaus had done for him, just because he missed them.
⋅⋆✯✼⋆⋅
As much as Bodie knew that he shouldn't have done what he done, now that he'd spoken to both Will and Henry, he felt worse about himself and everything that he's ever done. He knew that if he wanted to go back to being in both of their lives, that he would need to work on it in hopes that they'd forgive him. But he knew that it would take them years to forgive him at least.
He tried to not think about it too much, he tried his best to push it away. He knew that he needed to focus on the fact that Klaus asked him to try and find out where Stefan could have hidden the siblings, but Bodie found that he really didn't know where to begin. Where was he meant to look? He didn't know where Stefan would think to be a safe place to hide them. Hell, he didn't know Stefan enough to think about where Stefan would hide them.
Instead, he decided to head back to Klaus' where he was sure that Klaus was no longer there. He hoped that Klaus wasn't there, given that he wasn't sure on how he could explain to Klaus that he actually hadn't looked for his siblings at all. He knew that there was a chance that Klaus already had several things planned out in hopes to at least scare Elena and the others into complying to whatever Klaus wants just to let them know that he can do what he pleases, he just wondered what Klaus planned for him.
There was a lot that he thought about when it came to him and Klaus, and he wondered whether or not Klaus planned to threaten Bodie into doing what Klaus wants. Though he knew that there was a chance that Klaus wouldn't do such a thing, there was a part of him that thought that there was that slither of a chance that he would. He also wondered what Klaus had planned when it came to the pair of them as a whole, whether or not this little agreement would be something that would last or whether it would be something that would ruin him as a whole.
Bodie sighed and shook his head slightly. He knew that he was overthinking about all of this, but he found that he couldn't help himself. He was worried about his relationship with both Henry and Will and whether or not they would ever trust him once more. He was worried about what other plans Klaus had when it came to them working together once more, whether or not there was a chance that he should be on edge for what Klaus would plan to do with him.
He wasn't sure how long he'd been in his own mind, but he found that he was sitting outside Klaus' home. As much as he knew that he needed to go in and drop some things off, there was a part of him that felt as if he shouldn't, that there was something warning him internally that if he went in, it would cause something. He shook his head slightly, thinking that there was a chance that he was just being dramatic as a whole, that he was allowing himself to worry about things that he shouldn't worry about as a whole.
He sighed and managed to pull himself out of his car. He dragged some of his stuff out of the passenger side of his car before making his way towards Klaus' home. As much as he knew that there was a chance that he didn't have a room here, he planned to steal one of the many other rooms for now until Klaus decides to kick him out for whatever reason.
When Bodie walked into the house, there was a part of him that wondered whether or not he was going to be surprised by a hybrid or something, but when nothing happened, he wondered whether or not the house was truly empty. For a moment, he was tempted to call out to see if there was a chance that someone was in, but at the same time he didn't want to deal with talking to someone, though the more that he thought about everything, there was a small part of him that wondered whether or not he should actually make his own hybrid army like Klaus had.
He knew that it was rather dramatic to actually make a hybrid army given that he's never had use of one before. As much he knows what it's like to have someone sired to him and how weird it made him feel, there was a part of him that wondered whether or not he should open that possibility once more. He wondered whether or not he should reconsider all of it, at least then he would have people that were loyal to him no matter what.
Bodie wondered whether or not he should turn the Snow brothers into one of him. Though he wondered whether or not they could be a weapon against the Mikaelson's. Bodie knew that there was a chance that he was in need of people protecting him when it comes to him actually admitting his secret, he knew that once the Mikaelson's know what he did, they'd kill him, and he needed people to protect him. And he knew that the likelihood of the Woodford's protecting him was slim, so he needed hybrids to do such a thing.
Though, now that he wondered about what kinds of beings the Snow's would become, a part of him wondered whether or not he should make an attempt to turn them. As much as he knew that he somewhat promised the Snow's to protect them from people like him—though it was more like he warned them to keep both him and Klaus out—he wanted to see if they would have listened to him as a whole. All that he wanted to know if there was a chance that maybe, just maybe, if nature allowed it, that both Leo and Elliot would become something more, and if so, then Bodie wanted to be the one to have them on his side.
He had a feeling that they would be more likely to join him than what they would with Klaus, but even still, considering that Bodie ruined their plans to rid them all of Klaus, there was a possibility that they wouldn't even want to talk to him as a whole. That and the fact that he knew that Bodie wouldn't even get close to either of them in order to give them his blood. Now that was something that he had to consider as a whole, he'll have to compel someone to get close to them in order to put it in their drinks or something.
Bodie shook his head. He was thinking too much into this as a whole, but he felt like he had to think about the possibility that he was in need of an army. Although he knew that the chance of his own army being able to survive against any of the Mikaelson's were slim, he felt that it would give him time to do whatever he would need to do in order to fully protect himself.
He tried to clear his head, knowing that there was a chance that he wouldn't have to tell them all for a while and that he needed to focus on what he needed to do. Though, there was a moment where he wondered whether or not he actually needed to listen to Klaus as a whole, given that he knew that there was a chance that the longer the siblings were hidden, the more time he has to fully plan out what he could do. He knew if he were to fully plan anything, he'd have to be careful, especially if he were to be around Klaus for an extended period of time.

Bodie wasn't sure how much time had passed, he'd made an attempt to do what Klaus had asked of him—of course, he'd left just as compelled individuals and sired hybrids came into the home Klaus got in hopes to rebuild it in the way that he wants it to look. Of course, Bodie didn't fully commit to fully searching for Stefan, given that he found himself too far deep in his own thoughts about what he should do.
At one point he found himself sitting up in a tree in what seemed like a daze, for a moment, he thought about what life was like before any of this. He thought about his parents and his siblings and how simple things were when they were alive and when he was simply just a werewolf. He knew that he shouldn't be thinking about the past given that he needed to focus on the present, but he found that it was rather hard not to given that he knew that before all of this mess of vampirism, life was a lot simpler. At least when he was a werewolf, neither he nor Klaus argued, and that was one of the many things that he misses the most.
For a moment, Bodie froze, he'd found himself wondering whether or not he'd heard someone talk, though he wasn't sure if he was making up voices as if intended to get caught. He knew that if he were still living his old life, his father would be calling for him, and for a brief moment, he thought that he heard his father call him. Though the more that he focused his hearing, the more that he realised that the voice wasn't his father, but it was Damon's voice instead, and by the sounds of it he was talking to someone else.
Bodie jumped down from the tree and found himself following the voices. Although his hearing was great, he found that he couldn't particularly focus on anything that they were saying given the fact that he found that he really didn't have the energy for anything as if he were suddenly drained of everything.
He wasn't sure how long he'd been following the voices but at one point he found himself standing outside an old house that looked as if it'd been burnt down. He remembered that he'd been here before, when he saw his family once more and where Bonnie got rid of all the ghosts that were leaking through into this world. He'd forgotten that this house existed, and he'd forgotten that witches had been killed in this house.
For a moment, he wondered as to why he'd followed the sound of people talking here, but he realised that there was a chance that it was Stefan who he could have heard talking, but at the same time he wasn't sure. How could he be sure? As much as he wanted to see if there was a slight chance that he was correct, he was sure that if the witch spirits were here, then there was a chance that they'd keep him out, especially if they're aware that Bodie's working with Klaus. Though he was sure that the witches would keep him out anyway given his history with Klaus anyway.
"What?" Bodie heard Damon ask from inside. There was something in Bodie that got somewhat excited as if he just found something that he didn't mean to find. "Klaus is allergic to dust?"
"Hmm." Stefan hummed. "Look again." For a second there was nothing and Bodie was close in making his way into the home in hopes to get a look at what was going on. "Witch spirits hate Klaus as much as we do. They're using their powers to hide the coffins."
"So, even if he comes in the house. . ."
". . .he won't be able to find them."
Bodie found himself grinning like an idiot and he thought that there was a chance that he found something that he shouldn't. Although he knew that Klaus wanted to know where his siblings were being hidden and where Stefan could be, there was a part of him that didn't want to actually tell Klaus anything given that all that was going through his mind was the fact that he needed time to figure out exactly how he was going to tell them all his secret and the fact that he wanted more time to decide whether or not he gets himself a hybrid army. He'd have to ask Klaus about where other werewolf packs were hiding.
He backed away from the house and found himself shifting into his werewolf state. If he were to get back to Klaus and think about everything, he wanted to do it while he was in his other form. At least it was just that bit warmer than anything, that, and the fact that he hadn't brought his car with him, so he found that this was far more convenient for him even though in his normal form he can use his speed but found that he loved running in his wolf form, it made him think of a time that was now lost to him.
Bodie was too much in a daze to even think about everything through. All that he knew was that it was night and he just wanted to be in a room by himself to fully think things through and though he knew that there was a chance that he was going to spend an extended period of time with Klaus, he just wanted time to himself. He wondered whether or not this was going to be one of the few times that he does spend by himself, whether he had to be running around the town by himself or if he was meant to do another job for Klaus, or something.
He knew that there was a chance that he should tell Klaus about what he found but he found that he didn't want to. He couldn't bring himself to tell Klaus about where his siblings were, and though he knows that the right thing that he should do is to tell him, but he found himself not wanting to do such a thing. He knew it was wrong to keep it to himself, knowing that it would risk the lives of many people and could hurt any relationship he plans to build with Klaus as a whole, but at the same time he didn't want to because of knowing that he would have to tell the truth himself to all of them.
He wasn't sure how much time had passed but he found himself coming up to Klaus' mansion and he didn't bother to shift back to his normal form. Luckily enough, Bodie took notice of the door was ajar, enough for Bodie—in his wolf form—to nudge it enough to let himself in. Somewhere in the home, Bodie could hear Klaus moving in the home, a part of him wondered what Klaus had done throughout the day. Though he knew that there was a chance that he shouldn't care much, but given what he knows, he wondered whether or not Klaus had done what he needed to do.
Bodie heard the door close which was enough to know that one of Klaus' many hybrids had shut the door, though he tried not to pay much attention as a whole. He found his way to the room he claimed earlier, knowing that he'd be a little more comfortable in changing back there without preying eyes.
After like five or so minutes, he found himself making his way downstairs where he originally heard Klaus moving. He'd gotten changed and found himself debating on everything, whether or not what he was doing was something right. He wondered whether or not he should listen to his parents and what they suggested. As much as he knew that he should let them know about what happened and where his siblings are, he found himself wanting to protect himself more than anything. He knew that it was wrong, but all he could think about was protecting himself more than anything.
He shook his head just as he heard Klaus speak. "Sister. . ." there was a small pause and Bodie followed it. "We'll meet again, one day."
He found that Rebekah was laying on a table with Klaus standing over her, daggering her once more. As much as he knew that there was a chance as to why Klaus was daggering her once more, there was this small voice inside his mind that was telling him that he needed to protect Rebekah, that he needed to undagger her.
As much as he wanted to shake these feelings and thoughts away, he knew that Klaus daggering his siblings was wrong. He knew where the Mikaelson siblings were, he knew that he could undagger them, but he knew that there was a chance that the witches in that house wouldn't allow him in or allow him to see. He knew that Klaus would hate him for deciding to undagger them and going against what he has planned.
"Are you going to continue watching me, Bodie?" Klaus asked. "Or are you going to tell me you found them?"
Bodie noticed the way that Klaus was looking at him, and Bodie tried to hold his thoughts back as much as he could when it came to how it made him feel. If he were to work with Klaus then he needed to hold back his thoughts as much as possible. "I didn't find them. I need time to try and figure out where Stefan could have hidden them." He moved his gaze to Rebekah. "I suspect you threatened them to give you Rebekah back."
Klaus looked back to Rebekah before turning back to Bodie. "Somewhat." There was a small smile on Klaus' face though there was a small waver in his expressions. "How much time do you need in order to find them?"
Bodie shrugged. "Not sure. I'm not familiar with the town fully. Like I said, I'll need time to try and work out where they could be." He placed his hands in his hoodie pocket. "It would have been nice if they weren't taken in the first place. I'm surprised that Stefan managed to get one over from you."
Klaus glared at Bodie then, there was a small part of him that wondered whether or not Klaus was going to fight him or do something for what he said. "Your sarcasm doesn't help, Bodie."
"Still, I hadn't expected that you didn't plan for this when you let Stefan go." Bodie stated. "I thought that there was a chance that you would have known that Stefan was going to betray you the second he got out your control. You know, given that something like that has already happened, I thought you would have been better prepared."
Klaus ended up pinning Bodie against the wall and for a moment, Bodie was close in letting his thoughts slip, like they normally did whenever Klaus touched him, but Bodie made an attempt to force them down. He couldn't let his thoughts slip, he needed to rid his mind of these thoughts, he needed to rid himself of his feelings for Klaus as a whole. He knew that heartbreak was going to come soon, and he needed to put a stop to them before he got hurt more, and if pushing down his feelings stopped him getting hurt then so be it.
"I don't like this disrespect, Bodie." Klaus said. There was something almost husky in the way that he spoke, and again, Bodie found it rather difficult in trying to force his feelings down. "I am aware of what I done wrong, I don't need you to remind me of my mistake."
Bodie hummed. "But it is fun in reminding you that you fucked up." He titled his head slightly. "You showed Stefan what you did to your siblings, and he took them from you." He knew that he shouldn't find this amusing, but he couldn't help himself. He always knew that Klaus was a couple of steps ahead of him, but to know that Stefan done the one thing that no one else had the balls to do, was something that was rather funny to Bodie in some way. "The big bad vampire who didn't think about the possibility that this could happen to him. It's both stupid and surprising."
Klaus—even though he was pinning Bodie to the wall—seemed to give him a harsher look if that was possible. As much as he wanted to find a way to love Klaus and the look that he gave him, he knew that he couldn't keep doing this to himself. Bodie managed to push Klaus off him, despite the small voice inside his mind told him not to, he needed some space between himself and Klaus before he decided to do anything drastic.
"If you're going to continue being like this, then you might as well leave." Klaus told as if the words were like poison for him to say.
Bodie somewhat pouted. "You need me, Klaus. You know you do. Plus, you wouldn't want me to be on the side of the people that stole your family. We both know that there's a chance that once Stefan tells one of them where he's hidden them, the others will eventually find out, and if I'm on their side, you'll never find out where they are."
Although he already knew—or had a feeling where they could be—he just wanted to fuck with Klaus a little to see if there was a chance that he could piss him off more. He knew that he should be pissing Klaus off, but he always found it enjoyable to know that he could piss Klaus off knowing that Klaus couldn't do anything to him like daggering him. There was a small part of him that knew that he shouldn't be doing this, that he shouldn't be annoying Klaus given that they were on the same side, but he couldn't help it. Annoying Klaus was something that was something of a comfort, something that he knew that he used to do, of course, he knew that Klaus could fight back, but he didn't care.
"I could steal your white oak stake and kill you with it, if it put me out of my misery." Klaus said. A small smile was on his face once more. "You know, I found your things, the ones in the room you claimed. And I'm impressed that you thought it out enough to not leave it with your things. Where is it?"
Bodie somewhat smiled then, he had a feeling that Klaus would make an attempt to find where he put it, which was part of the reason why he'd decided to hide it after realising that Stefan stole the daggered siblings. He didn't want there to be the chance that Klaus would use the stake on him for whatever reason. "I hid it. You don't need to worry about it, it's perfectly safe and out of your reach. If we're ever in need of it, then I'll get it."
As much as he knew that he shouldn't be hiding the stake from Klaus, it was the only way that he could feel safe for now. He knew that if he was the only one who knew about where the stake, then he wouldn't have to worry about whether or not Klaus was going to kill him for anything that he ever did wrong. He knew that he needed to protect himself for what was bound to come, and he intended to do such a thing.
"I won't ask again." Klaus told. "Tell me where you've hidden it. If we are meant to be partners for now, I would like to know."
Bodie shook his head then. "As much as I would love to tell you were it is, it would mean giving up the only thing that I can hold over you. We both know that if it was the other way, then you'd do the same." He gave Klaus a half-smile. "Trust me enough to know that it's safe."
Klaus just gave him a harsh look though didn't say anything for a short while. He turned back towards his sister as if he were debating something. There was a moment where Bodie debated whether or not he should leave, but another part of him thought that there was a chance that more was going to be shared.
After a moment, Klaus looked back towards Bodie. "I don't trust that you won't try and kill me with it."
Bodie shrugged. "So be it." He turned and went to go to his room. "If you need me for anything, you know where I'll be."
