The one thing of which neither Henry nor Bodie expected was to see Will in their home at early hours of the morning, though the pair of them wasn't sure on how to deal with the fact that Will was back. There was a part of Henry which wanted to go for Will for everything that he done, but at the same time he felt frozen as if there wasn't anything that he could do that he wanted to do when it came to Will and everything that Will done. After fifty years, Will finally came back home and it wasn't in the way that Henry wanted, he thought that the way that Will would come home would be different than this.
"Will," Henry greeted almost nauseously. "What are you doing here?"
Will smiled slightly at him. "Well, Klaus thought it best for me to stay here with you." He then looked up to Bodie who was standing on the stairs, looking down at Will with his hand gripped on the railing while his hand turned white. "And he wanted me to annoy you till you decide to spill your guts."
Bodie looked as if he was a few seconds away from slaughtering Will where he stood, it was a look that sent a chill down Henry's spine and was also a look that Henry didn't enjoy much. There was a part of Henry which wondered whether or not he should step between the pair of them in hopes that it would prevent Bodie from going after Will, but he couldn't find it within himself to move as a whole.
"I could kill you right now, you realise that?" Bodie asked. There was this darker way that Bodie talked in when he was pissed and there were times that Henry thought it cool, but this was different, this was something that made him worried about what could happen.
Will shrugged. "You could, but you won't."
"If you do anything to hurt either myself or Henry, I will slaughter you before you can think of a spell to stop me." Bodie threatened.
There was something Klaus-like in the way that Bodie spoke that was almost unsettling, Henry knew that there was a chance that it was just because they spent a lot of time around one another so there was a chance that Bodie picked up on a few things about Klaus, but there was still something rather unsettling. It was rather odd and rare to hear Bodie even remotely sounding close to Klaus—the last time that Henry got a feeling of "Klaus" in Bodie was back in Wembley and that was something that was rather unsettling. What makes it worse is that he knows that there's a chance that Bodie means what he says that he would slaughter Will before Will even knew what's coming, and that's something that worries him the most.
"Okay," Henry said slowly. "While I'm gone, please don't slaughter each other. I don't want to come back home to find that I have to clean up blood from basically everything."
"Can't promise you anything, Henry," Bodie said, his glare was still on Will. "If I feel murderous, I'll let you know."
"Please do." Henry begged. "Right," he sighed, "don't murder each other while I'm at school. I'll hex the pair of you and make sure that you suffer."

Bodie wasn't sure what he was going to do but for some reason he found himself at the Salvatore's household. He wasn't sure as to why he decided that now was the perfect time for him to be in the company of Damon, but at least Damon wasn't Will or Klaus or anyone that he cared about and wasn't pissed off at.
What didn't help was the fact that Will thought that it would be funny if he joined Bodie on his journey to the Salvatore's home. Bodie could feel that there was a difference between the Will that he knew and the Will that was with him now and as much as Bodie wanted to ask about what happened to him, he found that he didn't really care all that much. It just pissed him off the fact that Will was here to make sure that Bodie told Klaus about the one thing that he kept from Klaus after a millennial.
"Do you realise that this could be a lot easier if we talked?" Will asked as the pair of them got out of Bodie's car.
Bodie glared at him. He was doing everything in his power to make sure that he didn't kill Will for Henry's sake. He knew that there was a chance that Henry would find a way to destroy Bodie for everything. "And do you realise that this wouldn't be happening if you weren't a backstabbing piece of shit?"
Will didn't say anything, not like Bodie expected him to. Bodie found himself banging on the door of Damon's home which Damon seemed to open reluctantly. There was an annoyed look on Damon's face which made Bodie wonder what put Damon in a sour mood though it wasn't until Bodie invited himself inside that he realised that both Rebekah and Stefan were here.
Bodie groaned. "I came here to get away from Klaus and his issues."
Rebekah made a noise in the back of her throat. "I've missed you too, Bodie."
Bodie sighed just as Rebekah dropped the bags in her hand. They both hugged each other. "If I knew that Klaus un-daggered you, I would have come to see you without all the shit going on."
"Oh god, you two know each other?" Damon asked as if them knowing each other would be the end of the world.
Rebekah tutted. "Of course. He's my friend."
Bodie found himself grinning. "Been friends since before we were turned."
"When was that? The dinosaur era?" Stefan asked rather sarcastically.
Bodie let out a fake laugh. "Funny. You know what else is funny? A werewolf bite. Back the fuck up."
"You've gotten bitter," Rebekah commented.
"Have I?" Bodie asked. If he had then it was something that he hadn't picked up, or it might just be the fact that he's pissed off at the world at the moment and couldn't deal with anything that life decided to throw at him. He was annoyed at Klaus for the fact that he made Will come back to them, he was annoyed at Klaus as a whole just because Klaus is Klaus, he was annoyed at the fact that everything was too much, and it was pissing him off more than expected. "I haven't noticed."
Rebekah smiled. "Now that you're here, we can hang out for now."
Bodie groaned. "I'm not helping you pick out what to wear, Bekah."
She laughed at him, and it was enough for him to know that there was nothing that he could do to get out of helping her. She took his hand and dragged Jamie through the Salvatore's home, he'd heard the way that Damon mumbled under his breath about how she doesn't have a room, though Bodie knew that it was something that Rebekah didn't care much about.
"Surprised that you didn't decide to crash my place." Bodie commented. "Though I guess stay long enough around the Salvatore's you would want to crash here."
They'd walked up a set of stairs and for a moment, Bodie was reminded of the few times of when they were children where Rebekah would drag him to a place that she found that he already knew about and pretended that he didn't just so that he could see the proud look on Rebekah's face. He knew that there was a lot that seemed to change about themselves as a whole, but Bodie could still clearly see the human in Rebekah that he was familiar with when he was younger.

Henry managed to find Elliot after chasing him down the halls after it seemed as if Elliot was ignoring him. He wasn't sure as to why Henry wanted to talk to Elliot given the fact that he hadn't known that he existed until a few days prior when Caroline quickly introduced them along with telling them both the fact that the other was a witch. He knew that there was a chance that he was overthinking something that he shouldn't, but he couldn't help but be interested in the fact that there was something different about Elliot. Of course, he knew that there was something different, Elliot told him as such, and Henry couldn't help but be interested in the thought of a werewolf-witch hybrid—they were more rare than siphoners, therefore making it something of interest.
He knew that there was a chance that he was getting far too excited about the fact that he knew someone who was a witch and a werewolf, but he couldn't help himself, there was just a lot that he wanted to know about what it was like to be both of these beings. He wondered what it was like for a were-witch to go through the motions of becoming a werewolf on the full moon. There wasn't much information about were-witches considering on how few there were, but this was the first time that he'd got into contact with one.
Elliot groaned. "Henry, can you stop following me!" He'd turned around to face Henry and leaned against the lockers. "Please just stop."
Henry straightened himself up. "First of all, sorry. Second of all, I haven't known there to be werewolf-witch hybrids, so excuse me for getting excited."
Elliot looked as if he were done with Henry as a whole which was something that Henry wouldn't be surprised about just as a whole. "And I don't see Heretic's much, but you don't see me gushing about them."
"Elena actually told me otherwise." Henry said. "So did Bonnie. They both said that you and your brother got excited over the fact that Will could keep his magic when he turned into a vampire." It was true as a whole, but the fact that he said it out loud and in front of Elliot was something that made Henry press his lips together, part of him wanting to sew his lips together so that he might not speak again.
Elliot leaned his head against the lockers beside him. "If you want something, please say. After last night I don't have much energy to deal with any of this."
"Is this because of Bodie?" Henry asked. He'd heard from Bonnie that they weren't expecting Bodie to just do nothing in order to prevent anything from happening, which was fair, but at the same time there was a part of him which wanted to defend Bodie though he found that it was rather difficult to do such a thing. Henry knew what Bodie was like when it came to Klaus—saying that he hated Klaus and the second that he's in the same room as Klaus he's ready to kiss and make up again.
"Partly." Elliot said. "If he's meant to be someone that we trust, then he needs to start acting like it."
Henry shrugged. "I've tried too many times to get Bodie to not go back to him, but they've known each other since they were ten, Elliot," he told. "It's hard. I've tried as hard as I can to get Bodie to stop going back to Klaus, though there's something different and I can't tell what."
"Is that why you came to me?" Elliot asked. He turned and walked farther into the school to which Henry trailed behind.
"Maybe." Henry admitted. "Bodie was acting odd this morning when my brother returned to us, like he was Klaus. He rarely acts like Klaus, and I don't know if that's something I need to worry about."
Elliot looked as if he was thinking for what to say before he opened his mouth. "Get a therapist."
Henry groaned. He knew that it didn't sound like anything to vastly worry about, but there was something off and he couldn't tell if it was because something was going on with Bodie or not. He knew that he could ask Bodie about what the issue could be, but at the same time he knew that there was a chance that Bodie would lie to him or not take him serious. There was something dark happening around him and it was pissing him off that he couldn't understand where it was coming from.
The duo met with Caroline and Elena, Tyler was already there considering that he was in the middle of giving Caroline a kiss. Elena looked uncomfortable which was something that Henry couldn't judge as a whole. Given everything that happened, Henry tried to understand what it all must feel like.
"Happy first day!" Tyler said when he pulled away.
Henry sniffed and then glared at Tyler as if he committed a crime. Though it was Elena that then asked, "Is that blood?"
"Oh my God!" Caroline muttered and dragged Tyler into the boys' toilets. Elliot, Henry, and Elena gave each other a look and then decided to follow the pair of them into the toilet.
Tyler looked generally confused at what they were doing. "What's going on?!"
As Elena, Henry, and Elliot checked out the stalls to make sure that no one was in here with them, Caroline explained. "Vampire 101, don't wear your breakfast to school!"
"Chill out." Tyler said. "It was just a blood bag."
"From where?" Caroline asked. Elena, Henry, and Elliot made their way back to Tyler and Caroline.
"Rebekah hooked me up." Tyler responded.
"Rebekah?" Caroline asked. "And what are you even talking to her for?"
Henry found himself trying not to smile as a whole, knowing there was a chance that him smiling wouldn't help anything. Though there was a part of him which wondered as to what the plan was in keeping Rebekah here.
"Klaus told her to keep a watch on me. Protect his new asset." Tyler told.
"His what?" Caroline asked. "Why are you amused by this?"
"I'm his first successful hybrid, Caroline." Tyler shot at her. "Don't you think that's the tiniest bit awesome?"
"Oh, wow! I cannot believe you just said that." Caroline retorted.
"So, I'm going to go." Elena stated as she passed Caroline toilet roll. "Good luck."
Elena left them which left Caroline and Tyler to bicker slightly over the issue of the blood and the fact that Tyler seemed as if he enjoyed being Klaus' first successful hybrid as a whole. Though, even between the bickering, Caroline managed to wipe the blood stain off of him, though it still looked mostly there.
Henry stepped forward. "If you want to make sure that no one else notices the blood, I could use a spell to get rid of the stain." That managed to stop the pair of them bickering.
"Sure, man," Tyler said. "Though, I don't see the issue."
Caroline stepped to the side as Henry took place in front of him. Henry reached out though he knew that he probably didn't need to but there was a part of him which couldn't help it. His fingers brushed against Tyler's neck while he muttered under his breath a spell, though what he hadn't told Tyler was that he decided to siphon him in the process. He didn't need to mutter a spell under his breath in order to clean a stain, but he thought that he might throw in something special.
Tyler groaned. "What the hell?!" He glared at Henry though he hadn't stopped siphoning Tyler. He wasn't sure why he decided to, though there was a part of him which wanted to test how far he could go. Desiccation happened slowly and it was only then that Henry stopped as if that were the answer to the question that he didn't need.
"What was that?" Caroline asked.
Henry looked towards Caroline who seemed confused and angry that Henry would even do something like that. He shrugged. "Found the answer that I needed. Also, a warning for all of you that I will end you if I have to."
He knew that they were his friends, but there was something about the way that Tyler was acting which was something that pissed him off. It pissed him off because he knew that it was something, that there was a reason as to why Tyler would be acting this way because of what Klaus did, but at the same time it was as if there was something blocking his brain just as a whole. He wanted to talk to Bodie about it but at the same time there was a part of him which didn't want to bother Bodie.
He'd headed out of the toilet, and it was then that Henry heard the most annoying sound that he thought he would never get to experience—the school bell. Henry found himself closing his eyes and making his way towards where he knew he was meant to be having his lesson. And thank god it was history, cause he always loved to refresh his memories over the past five hundred odd years of his existence all over again.
Henry made his way into the room he was meant to be in and ended up sitting behind Elena mainly because it was furthest to the back, and he watched as the other students came walking in, Caroline gave Henry a side eye as she sat beside Elena. Elliot and Tyler were sat near him though he could feel Tyler's glare on him.
"You're in my seat," Stefan told the person sitting on the other side of Elena. The guy moved and Stefan took his place, he looked at Elena and smiled at her while the others just stared at him. "Hey you!"
Henry shook his head slightly and turned his attention to the blackboard where Alaric had written "AP AMERICAN HISTORY" which made Henry just want to cry. He really didn't want to go through history that he'd lived through once more bust he supposed that he didn't have a chance which was something that made him want to smack Bodie over the head for considering that it wouldn't have been for him then he wouldn't be here. But no, Bodie wanted Henry to befriend Elena and now he felt as if he was stuck and unable to do the things that he wanted because he had to be here.
"Welcome back, seniors," Alaric greeted, wiping his hands against each other to get the chalk off of them. "Let's turn our brains back on, starting with this country's original founders...the Native Americans."
"What about the Vikings?" Rebekah asked as she came into the room.
Henry wanted to smash something. Probably a window. Definitely several. He couldn't be dealing with anything else. It was bad that he was stuck in this godforsaken building for hours upon end, learning stuff that he already knew, and now he had to deal with Rebekah—it was something that made him want to curl up in a ball and cry.
"There's no evidence that Viking explorers actually settled in the United States," Alaric tried to explain as Rebekah found herself sitting at a desk. Rebekah sat at least within the first few rows of desks in front of Alaric. "Who are you?"
"My name's Rebekah. I'm new." Rebekah informed. "And history's my favourite subject."
There was a part of Henry that wanted to see if he could burst Rebekah's head off. He wondered how long it would take for an Original to grow back the important stuff. He already knew that there was a chance that the Originals could grow back their heart but that was something that he wasn't sure on. Bodie wouldn't let him test anything out to see how durable he really is. He knew that he needed to stop thinking about violence considering that it didn't help with anything, but he couldn't help himself as a whole. This entire day felt as if it was going on a downward spiral, and it was something that he didn't like just as a whole.
Henry wasn't sure on how much time passed, but the next thing that Henry knew was that Tyler decided to drag his ass to join him in whatever sport he was interested in. Tyler mentioned something about the fact that it could be something of a payback given what Henry decided to pull. There was a moment that he thought that Tyler was trying to threaten him in some way, though Henry elected to ignore it knowing that he didn't need to cause bigger issues than needed.
He wasn't sure as to why he allowed Tyler to provide him with such torture such as doing sports, but here he was doing it for the sake of fitting in. God, he wasn't sure as to why he was doing this—why he was doing any of this anymore. This task was easier at first given that there was a chance that nothing big happened, but too much has happened, and it was something that Henry hated just as a whole. There was a part of Henry which wondered what Bodie must be going through and hoped that Bodie was suffering the same way that he was.
Henry was pushing stuff, running laps, and doing other sporty shit that he wished that he weren't doing. Tyler tried to keep him engaged just as a whole though Henry found that it was rather difficult to do such a thing considering that all he was thinking about was the need to rip someone's throat out.
"It's not the ballet, ladies. Let's move! Let's move!" The coach tried to encourage, though all Henry could hear was the sound of the blood moving throughout his body.
Tyler stopped and briefly looked towards Henry who was trying his best with not vamp-ing out. He knew that this was something that he couldn't be doing and yet he found himself struggling. I think we're done here, coach."
"Did you have a mental breakdown, Lockwood?" The Coach asked. "Get back in line."
"I have a better idea." Tyler said. He then walked over to the coach. "Shut the hell up so we can go get drunk at the bonfire."
The coach looked towards the others. "Hit the showers, gentlemen."
As much as Henry wanted to be an ass towards Tyler about not keeping what he was a secret, he found himself not wanting to. Of course, there was his need for blood which he hadn't realised had gotten this bad. He knew that his need for blood was bad and hard for him to control at times, but at the same time, he wished that he could do something to relieve himself.
For a moment he considered asking Rebekah whether or not she had anything with her to help him but at the same time there was a large part of him which knew that he didn't want to interact with Rebekah as a whole. As much as he knew that Rebekah was Bodie's friend despite the opposing sides that they were on, he felt it rather odd to ask someone like Rebekah to help with his blood control.
He'd found himself near Caroline and Tyler talking to each other. "Then why are you acting like this?" Caroline asked.
Henry found himself glancing towards the pair of them as if they said something interesting but at the same time he didn't care much. Why did he have to come to school? It meant drama that he didn't need, that and the fact that the smell of blood being everywhere wasn't something that he enjoyed as a whole.
"Drop it, Caroline." Tyler argued. "I'm fine. I've never been better. Klaus has given me this . . . gift."
He felt as if his brain was going to explode. He found himself looking at Tyler at what he said, there was that familiar feeling inside his mind which told him that there was something about Tyler that he needed to look out for, that there was something missing, but at the same time he really couldn't figure out what it meant.
What brought Henry out of his thoughts and back into the reality that he wished that he weren't in, was the fact that there were few people cheering for Rebekah who'd done some flips which ended up in a front split. Henry felt the way that his jaw hung open, he knew that he shouldn't be impressed but he couldn't help himself.
He'd noticed the way that Tyler walked away, leaving Caroline behind to glare at Rebekah for being here which lead to Henry coming up beside her despite the fact that Caroline looked as if she didn't want to interact with anyone. "Caroline."
She whipped around and glared at him. "What?"
Henry held up his hands. "I was just wondering if there was a chance that you carried blood bags with you?" He found himself sheepishly smiling. "I forgot to eat this morning and there's a chance that I might rip someone's head off if blood isn't. . .you know?"
Caroline didn't say anything, she simply rolled her eyes as if she didn't want to be in this conversation with him as a whole which was something that he wanted to respect which meant that he ended not eating or tried his best not to feed on any of the students which was rather hard for him as a whole.

Bodie was rather surprised that he even got invited to their little circle of debating on what they were going to do. He was sure that Damon had told them about the fact that he was close to Rebekah and to say that he was surprised was something that surprised Bodie in some way. Though, the one thing that he was surprised about the most was the fact that Will let him go—obviously, this was after Henry argued with him and threatened to stake him if Will didn't let them leave, which Will ended up doing though there was clear pain in Will's face at Henry's rage towards him.
Which lead them to be here. Alaric, Elliot, Damon, Elena, Henry, Caroline, and Bodie were in Alaric's classroom, and Bodie found himself eyeing the other boy standing beside Elliot. The boy—or man—standing beside Elliot looked somewhat similar to Elliot but Bodie wasn't too sure, there was a part of Bodie that wanted to ask who the fuck he was but at the same time there was a part of him which didn't want to.
"I'll lure Stefan away from the bonfire." Elena was explaining the plan. "Then when he's distracted—"
"—I'll shoot him." Alaric finished.
"Can't Bonnie just ju-ju him or something?" Damon asked. "Or one of you three?" He was gesturing towards Henry, Elliot, and the other man in the room. It was enough for Bodie to go on in the sense that this other person was a witch.
"I'm trying to keep Bonnie out of this. I don't trust that Stefan won't hurt her." Elena explained. "Plus, Henry, Elliot, and Leo are going to make sure that no one gets hurt." She looked towards Caroline who was against the doorframe. "Caroline, are you covered?"
"Yes," Caroline said, moving towards Elena, "I will make sure that the old Forbes jail cell is prepped and ready."
"We're forgetting a key player here. Rebekah." Damon told. "Wherever Stefan goes, the blonde ponytail tends to follow."
"Which is why it's both your job and Bodie's to keep her away." Elena explained.
"How?! She's an Original." Damon argued. "Last time I checked, we're out of daggers."
"We won't need a dagger, Damon," Bodie cut in. "She's my friend, it'll be easy to keep her away."
"Surprise you have friends," Alaric muttered.
Bodie gave him a look. "Didn't realise I asked for you to voice your opinion against me."
Alaric shrugged. "You did get Henry to lie to us for months."
Bodie was about to say something though he felt the way that Henry's hand wrapped around his arm as if that was enough for Bodie to not continue. Or it was the fact that Henry knew Bodie enough that he was close to leaving a dead body in the room for decoration. Bodie wouldn't want to admit the amount of dead bodies he's left behind only for Henry or Will to clean up behind him for it.
Tyler walked into the room then which also added to the fact that Bodie didn't say anything else. "Sorry I'm late. What's going on?"
"We need you to raid your mom's vervain supply. Enough to keep Stefan down for a while." Elena explained.
"You can't do that to Stefan," Tyler stated.
"Why not?" Caroline asked.
Henry gave him a look as if this were the thing that he was trying to explain to him earlier. Bodie was told by Henry on how weird Tyler had been acting and the fact that he was worried that he'd seen it before in other wolves that Bodie turned into hybrids. Of course, Bodie knew what Henry meant but didn't mention it, there was just a part of Bodie that didn't want to mention anything about it.
"Trust me, Tyler, it's in his best interest." Elena said.
"But it's not in Klaus'." Tyler stated.
Damon looked at Bodie as if he knew what was going through Bodie's brain, and Bodie knew that there was a chance that Damon knew what happened.
"But Klaus is the bad guy, Tyler." Caroline told. "You know, why are you acting like some freaky, hybrid, slave minion?"
"Uh-oh." Damon muttered as he stared at Tyler with a look of suspicion.
"What?" Alaric asked as if he was done with life. Bodie wished he were so that Bodie could kill him.
"Klaus made me who I am, Caroline. I owe him everything." Tyler defended.
"Oh, boy." Damon commented.
It was enough to make Caroline turn around and snap at Damon. "Okay, can we cool it on the commentary, please."
"What is going on?" Elena asked as Damon took a vervain dart off Alaric's desk.
Tyler backed off a little. "I'm just going to go." He turned around and headed towards the door. Before Damon could use the vervain dart of Tyler, Bodie managed to snap Tyler's neck which surprised most of them, especially Caroline.
Caroline came up to Bodie to pass him. "What are you doing?!"
"He's been sired." Damon stated as if he wasn't surprised that Bodie snapped his neck.
"What?"
"Sired." Damon repeated, putting the vervain dart back down on the table. "He feels loyal to Klaus because Klaus' blood created him."
"Loyal how?" Elena asked.
"He'll seek acceptance from his master." Bodie explained, cutting Damon off. "It's really rare. Though it's not rare in hybrids between Original hybrids and normal hybrids." Bodie shivered slightly. "It's creepy."
"So how do I fix him?" Caroline asked from the floor beside Tyler.
"Get a new boyfriend." Damon stated.
After a while, the group managed to get to the party, they'd all split up to make sure that the plan went well. Bodie managed to find Rebekah quite quickly as did Elena with Stefan given the fact that both Rebekah and Stefan were standing next each other by a barrel of beer.
"Until then, a girl has needs," Rebekah was saying.
Elena had picked up one of those red cups and went to fill her cup up. Bodie would have done the same, but Bodie wasn't a fan on beer, it never had the same effect on him as anything else, it was rather a weak drink and one that tasted rather horrid.
Bodie threw his arm around Rebekah though by the looks of it, Rebekah was about to throw him over her shoulder which made him drop his arm, though there was a grin on her face when she realised who it was. "Bekah, hi."
"I didn't know you were going to be here!" Rebekah greeted. "Especially after the shit you gave my brother for hanging around teenagers."
"Thank Henry for dragging my ass here, he wanted company." Bodie said. "And plus, he wanted me to keep an eye on him just in case he lost his control with his bloodthirst."
"Your fault for enrolling him into school with humans in the first place, we both know what he's like around people and blood." Will said, joining them.
"Wow, Will," Bodie sarcastically said, "thank you for this wonderful input."
"You're welcome." Will nodded. "Where's my brother?"
"Somewhere. Why? You worried after he threatened you?" Bodie asked. He was half mocking but at the same time the amount of high respect on Henry for standing against Will was something that Bodie respected a lot.
Will glared at him. "Just tell me where my brother is, asshole."
Bodie pouted and then tilted his head. "You think I'll tell you now that you've insulted me?"
Rebekah pinched him. "Just tell the poor man."
"Ow," Bodie said. He gave Rebekah a look before turning back to Will who looked two seconds away from killing him. He sighed. "Fine, Henry should be with Elliot, though I don't know exactly where he is, you'll have to figure out where he is."
Will grunted and walked off. By this point both Elena and Stefan had left them, leaving both Rebekah and Bodie alone. There was a part of Bodie which wondered how the hell he was meant to distract Rebekah but then he decided that the plan isn't something that he should stick with—Rebekah has been his friend for centuries and he's missed her so much, he didn't see why he needed to distract her when all he can be is the friend she's always know.
Bodie pulled out a bottle of whiskey from the inside pocket of his jacket. "Fancy something a little stronger?"
Rebekah smiled at him and held up her cup. "Don't be shy."
Bodie twisted the lid off and filled her cup. "You know I won't."
Between the amount that both Rebekah and Bodie seemed to have, Bodie lost track of time. At one point, both Rebekah and Bodie ended up around a fire, they'd been talking about what happened over time, what made Klaus hate him this time and such, Rebekah asked him if it was true that he'd triggered his curse the last time that he saw Klaus which Bodie confirmed. Though when Bodie confirmed it, there was this look on Rebekah's face as if it were something that she didn't believe it, which made Bodie feel bad for lying.
Rebekah told him about her time between New Orleans and Chicago in the 20's before Klaus decided to dagger her like he normally does. She muttered something about the fact that she hated when Klaus allowed for time to slip past her without giving her the chance to live it.
"You know," Bodie said, "when we were in Wembley, I had Henry and Will use Kol's ring to track him, and I found where Klaus was keeping your bodies. I wanted to un-dagger you to get back at Klaus."
"Why didn't you?" Rebekah asked.
"Klaus found me." Bodie responded. "We fought and then he snapped my neck."
Rebekah scoffed. The pair of them were holding sticks with marshmallows on the end and letting them roast in the fire. "Surprised that you didn't stake him when you woke up."
Bodie shrugged. "If I did, I would have felt guilty."
She then turned to him. "Will mentioned that you had a white oak stake, didn't you stake Klaus with it after you triggered your curse?"
Bodie nodded. "I did, but I purposely staked him just under the heart to threaten Klaus. I needed him to be afraid of the fact that I would use the stake against him in hopes that he wouldn't follow me. It worked but I guess he couldn't help it anymore and made Will send me a note to come here."
"Looks different than what it did when we lived here centuries ago." Rebekah commented.
Bodie weakly smiled. "Yeah, it does. Honestly, there's moments where I wish that we still lived in that time, it was simpler. Didn't have to worry about anything like we do now."
Rebekah made a noise as if she agreed with him, though there was nothing else shared between them as a whole. Bodie found that he couldn't bring up anything else that was needed, though he found comfort as a whole to be by Rebekah's side. He knew that he missed Rebekah, but he hadn't realised just how much he did until now. He wondered how long this would last before Klaus decided to dagger her once more just because she had the audacity to live the life as she chose to.
Damon decided to come over then as if he thought that Bodie was struggling to keep his best friend distracted. It was as if Rebekah could sense that Damon was there without looking away from the fire in front of them and asked; "What? No friends your own age?"
"Like you can talk." Damon said.
"I have Bodie," Rebekah stated as she brought up a burning marshmallow to her mouth and blew it out, leaving it all burnt around the outside. Though, she then looked at the burnt marshmallow with a disappointed look. "Is this supposed to be fun? I've been through 10 of these."
"No, you're just looking at it all wrong." Damon told as he reached over to the marshmallow. "This is a little rough on the outside." He pulls off the layer of burnt marshmallow off. "But the inside . . . Yum." He moved the stick and put the marshmallow in her mouth. She ate it and then looked at him as he licked his fingers.
"Mmm. It's good." Rebekah said.
"Yep."
Bodie made a noise almost like disgust. "Is this what it's like for everyone else when I'm flirting with your brother?"
Rebekah turned back to him just to give him a small, almost mocking, smile as if it was enough to confirm his question as a whole. Damon decided to make a marshmallow sandwich considering that Rebekah never had the chance to have one.
"Can't believe you've never had one of these before." Damon stated as he passed her said marshmallow sandwich.
"Well, I've been in a casket for ninety years." Rebekah justified. There was a part of him which felt bad over the fact that he had a chance to help her, to get her out of the casket in the 60's but didn't.
"That's no excuse." Damon told as Rebekah started to eat it.
Rebekah hummed slightly though paused. "Why are you being so nice to me? You hate me. You should be mean."
"Well, I could be mean if that's what you're into." Damon suggested. Bodie wanted to throw up.
"You're distracting me." Rebekah said as she pushed herself up with the stick still in hand. "Why?"
Damon rose to his feet as well and Bodie decided to stay where he was sat. "Just trying to be a good housemate."
Rebekah touched his arm then and got close to him. "There's never a fair fight between us, Damon." She stabbed him with the wooden stick which made him let out a groan. "Remember that."
Rebekah left and Bodie found himself following Rebekah knowing that there was still a part of him which wanted to be by his friend's side more than anything. He left Damon alone with a stick pointing out of him and decided to follow, he wanted his friend more than anything, he didn't care much about anything.
She noticed that Bodie was following her and glared at him as if he weren't meant to be following her. "Were you in on this? On Damon distracting me?"
Bodie pouted slightly. "No. You think that I would do something like that, I haven't seen you in decades." He held out his arm. "You're my friend, you think I would want to fake that just for someone else?"
Rebekah gave him a hard look though took his arm. "You do a lot of things to hurt Klaus, so I'm not sure."
"I do stuff to Klaus because he pisses me off," Bodie stated. "You're my friend, someone that I actually love."
"If, I'm someone that you love, then tell me what's happening," Rebekah suggested.
Bodie looked around. He noticed the fact that Henry, Elliot, and Leo were watching him. He took notice over the fact that Henry was giving him a look as if he were pleading that Bodie doesn't do something stupid, though Bodie gave him a small wink which Henry nodded at. Henry knew that Bodie was never going to lie to Rebekah, he knew their relationship, and Henry actually liked Rebekah more than Klaus. "Not here, too many ears."
Rebekah made them pause as she turned to face him. "Are you betraying everyone else?"
Bodie somewhat smiled at that. "For you, Rebekah, yes. Now, let's go and I'll explain whatever you want answered."
Rebekah seemed to like that response given that she took his arm once more and they walked to the car park, he knew that there was a chance that Elena would see him and knew the fact that by taking Rebekah to the car park that there was the risk that she'll see Stefan, but at this point, Bodie didn't care much.
Bodie opened the passenger side door for Rebekah to get in. She smiled at him as if that were her way of saying thanks before Bodie closed it after she sat down in his car. A moment later he was sat in the driver's side, shutting the door behind him in the process. The keys dangled from the rear-view mirror which he took down to start the engine.
"Do you know where Tyler is?" Rebekah asked. "I was wondering where he was, I couldn't see him at the bonfire."
"I snapped his neck and Caroline probably took him back to his house." Bodie explained a little too deadpan. As he started to drive out of the carpark and away from the school as a whole, he looked towards Rebekah who had a surprised look on her face. "What? I wanted them to know that I was kinda on their side and to be honest I found it completely creepy on the entire sire bond thing between Tyler and Klaus."
Rebekah let out a half-assed laugh as if it were something that she didn't believe. "I can't believe that you snapped his neck. If Klaus were here, he would have done something."
"If Klaus were here, we both know that I wouldn't be talking to you fully," Bodie stated, "he still doesn't like the fact that I will openly try and take you away from him just because you need a life without Klaus making you his puppet."
"Isn't that what you're for?" Rebekah asked. "To be his precious puppet?"
"If I was, he wouldn't let me go." Bodie responded. He sighed then. "How about a snack? I'm sure that Tyler needs to learn more about what it's like to be a vampire." He smiled slightly then. "I'm sure that you can be the best teacher to exist when it comes to it."
Rebekah didn't say anything and for a while, they didn't dare to speak to one another. Bodie knew that there was a chance that the others might feel betrayed over the fact that Bodie is so willing to betray them for Rebekah, but at the same time he didn't want to care much given that he knew that Rebekah was someone that he cared about more than anything.
At one point, Bodie pulled over and Rebekah compelled someone to join them both before they went about their journey to Tyler's place. Bodie wasn't sure how much time had passed but at this point, he didn't care all that much, he was just glad that he was here with Rebekah as a whole.
They'd managed to sneak into Tyler's mansion after pulling up—Bodie made sure that he didn't get too close out of worry that there was a chance that Caroline would see his car if she was still here. They'd dragged the human woman with them and at one point Caroline left leaving them both alone with Tyler.
Rebekah stood in the doorway of which Caroline and Tyler were previously together in. Tyler turned to face her once he realised that there was someone there, he was without a shirt and most of his clothes which was enough to know what happened—it wasn't something that Bodie would have wanted to know but guess he didn't have a choice.
"What are you doing here?" Tyler asked, shocked that Rebekah and Bodie would be there.
Rebekah seemed overly innocent which was something that Bodie was always annoyed at. "I have something for you."
"What?"
"A little present." Rebekah told. She left and when she came back she had the woman that they plucked off the street with a previous bite mark on her neck. Rebekah got a little hungry on their way here. She'd rubbed her fingers over the bite mark and then licked them.
Tyler looked as if he was uncomfortable or didn't know what to do. "You both should go."
"You sure?" Rebekah asked. "I think my brother would want his hybrid to indulge in everything life has to offer." She raised the girl's wrist and then bit it, and after a moment, Tyler rushed over to the girl and bit her neck. Bodie found himself smiling at it, and although he knew that there was a chance that he shouldn't be here with Klaus' hybrid or his sister, Bodie found himself unable to stop being by Rebekah's side.
However, the one thing that he didn't expect to see was the fact that he thought that he saw his own sister—Ingrid—looking at him with this sad look as if she was disappointed in him. He shook his head and knew that there was a chance that his brain was playing tricks on him as a whole.
