TWO MONTH LATER
Bodie didn't know what to expect from Klaus over the next few weeks, but he hadn't expected him to actually stick to his word and to go the extra step to take Bodie out for dates. The dates alone were something wildly different than what Bodie could expect, sometimes the dates would be to the theatre to watch whatever performance was on, other dates would be a picnic (which Bodie would tease Klaus 'cause of it), and other times their dates would be a café date which would end with them taking a stroll through the park. It seemed odd that Klaus would care enough about them to take Bodie on these dates, but he was happy that he was trying.
As much as Bodie loved what Klaus was doing in order to make up for what happened, there was a part of him which was afraid that Klaus was still playing him in some way still, he kept half expecting something to take a turn for the worst which he knew he shouldn't expect but he couldn't help it. It didn't help that every time Klaus looked at him, he'd feel as if he were high on something—there was just something about how Klaus looked in either the sunlight or in café light which sparked something within Bodie as if he had to stare.
He found himself doing that a lot over the past few weeks since Klaus decided to drag him out of his house the first time. Bodie couldn't help but watch Klaus as if he were the most interesting being to exist, it was like that if Bodie dared to look away, he might miss something. And yet, Bodie knew that nothing about Klaus changed, but it was like a front row seat to see the most beautiful display of a lightshow whenever he was with Klaus—he had to watch. He always had to watch Klaus as if his life depended on it.
"You're doing it again, Bo," Klaus spoke. They were laying in a hotel room that they compelled their way to have, they would have stayed at either of their homes but considering on the stuff that the pair do when they get back from their dates (which was like every other day) they'd decided it be best that they stay here until they could find a house together. "You're staring."
Bodie stretched his arm out and took Klaus' hand in his own. "And it's a crime to stare at you?" He smiled then. "We've been going out like this for two months, Klaus, do you expect me not to stare at the guy I've been going on dates with?"
Klaus titled his head up slightly. "I wasn't complaining, merely pointing it out." His thumb ran over Bodie's skin slowly then.
Bodie—being, well, himself—moved towards Klaus, placing his free hand against his cheek. And almost like clockwork, Klaus cupped Bodie's hand with his own free hand before pulling Bodie in by his pyjama shirt and kissed him. Klaus was always gentle at first, as if he didn't want to push anything too far but when Bodie gave him the response that he wanted, then and only then Klaus would push for more. They'd moved back on the bed and all that Bodie could taste was toothpaste still slightly on Klaus' lips, yet it was cut short when Klaus pulled Bodie's shirt off and threw it away once off.
Bodie found himself smiling and slowly taking Klaus' shirt off before returning back to kissing him. Klaus then flipped them and trapped Bodie between him and the bed, kissing Bodie hard before moving to his neck and biting slightly while he kissed it. While Klaus did as such, Bodie moved to remove Klaus' bottoms, though before he did, he slipped his hand underneath and toyed with Klaus a little—it was enough to make him groan.
He grasped at Klaus then, running his hand up and down which caused Klaus to groan then and to look up to narrow his eyes at Bodie with a small smile. Bodie grinned slightly before he kissed Klaus' lips once again. He kissed harder than before which Bodie loved, his hand stroking Klaus was slowly gaining a rhythm that would make Klaus groan into the kiss.
Klaus moved to place a kiss on Bodie's neck, though the more that he kissed, the more that Bodie felt as if his brain was buffering, unable to move past that Klaus was on top of him. That and the fact that Klaus started to suck on his skin. His brain felt all frazzled, unable to focus on anything remotely important, it was all Klaus and how Klaus felt on his skin—and he was amazing. Especially when Klaus kissed down his chest, forcing Bodie to remove his grip over Klaus' dick.
His hands were soft and careful especially when he removed the bottoms that Bodie wore, his eyes flickered up to Bodie and he was undone. Bodie wasn't sure as to what he was doing anymore, like he was in an enchantment when it came to Klaus and the best few hours of his life. He knew that everything within him buzzed when he was around Klaus, but the feeling within him now was like an electric current, unable to stop and flowing like water over a drop.
Being distracted over the fact that Klaus was simply existing in his presence, Bodie hadn't noticed that Klaus done what Bodie failed to do and took off his bottoms and was now between his legs, watching Bodie with amusement. When Bodie locked eyes with Klaus, he couldn't help but reach up, grasping either side of Klaus' face, bringing him back down to kiss him. He needed Klaus' feel on him, he always did, he loved the way that Klaus felt—always warm, always rough, always familiar.
He felt a noise escape his lips and an oddly familiar feeling enter him. Klaus moved to bury his head into Bodie's neck, his hips rocking back and forth rapidly, causing Bodie to shut his eyes and bite his lip. He slightly feared that if he didn't quiet himself, that he'd do something that he might regret, and he didn't want Klaus to pull out, not yet. He found himself holding the back of Klaus' head with and arm wrapped around Klaus' body, his fingers gripping into Klaus' hair, taking bunches into them.
He could hear the way that Klaus panted slightly, though he left marks on Bodie's neck. Though that was nothing compared to the unholy noises that came out of Bodie's mouth, no matter how much he tried to keep his mouth shut. His eyes stayed shut, taking great pleasure in how Klaus felt, always better than the last time. He'd felt how Klaus would get rougher and rougher, which made Bodie feel as if he was losing part of his senses.
He couldn't help the way that he called Klaus' name repeatedly only to be greeted with a slight tickle on his neck and a desire like no other. With a grasp of Klaus' hair, Bodie moved into kissing Klaus again, though it gave Klaus more of a chance to lean up fully, his hips moving in a way that made Bodie feel like he was going to burst.
Klaus had a hold on him—and he didn't mean Bodie's hips—but a general hold that made Bodie wish that they could stay in this moment forever. Though he couldn't tell if that was him just being horny or meaning it generally. Either way, Bodie didn't want it to end. Even if he did come. And even if then, Klaus never slowed in his thrusts into him. He could notice the slight crude smile on Klaus' face when Klaus took notice that he came.
If Bodie wasn't enjoying getting fucked by Klaus, he would've hit Klaus for giving him that smile, knowing that it was him, knowing that only Klaus ever got him this way. Klaus was the only person who could do him like this and leave Bodie wanting more than one round.
Bodie knew that Klaus was close by the way that his groans were more frequent as was his pants—that and the fact that Klaus' thrusts were getting harsher and harder, causing Bodie to grasp at the bedsheets. He wanted nothing more than to see Klaus crumble at his climax, knowing that it was close, on god Bodie knew that Klaus was close.
However, before Klaus got there, even if he was a few seconds away from it, there was a knock on the door, which cause both Klaus and Bodie to yell at whoever was there to essentially "fuck off," though very clearly, whoever it was couldn't take the hint which made Klaus stop his work and sigh with annoyance.
"No," Bodie whined. "Whoever it is, I'm sure that if we ignore them, they'll go away. Please, Klaus." He was so desperate for Klaus that it should be embarrassing but he wasn't—he was desperate for Klaus and always would be.
Klaus smiled at Bodie then, bending over to kiss Bodie quick then before pulling out. "We'll continue later. I'm not quite done with you yet, Bo."
Bodie groaned, covering his face then, trying his best to ignore the way that Klaus shoved something decent back on to open the door. He laid there for a moment longer, though hearing the door open gave him a quicker motive to get out of bed and shove something on even if it was Klaus' bottoms. He also managed to grab one of Klaus' button downs and wore it like a jacket, not exactly bothering to do it up considering that he hoped that after whoever disturbed them left, that they'd go back at it.
"Elijah," Klaus greeted when he opened the door. Bodie walked towards the door and leaned against the wall leading towards where the door was. Bodie took notice on how tired Elijah looked and that there were specks of blood around the collar of his blouse.
"Is everything okay, Eli?" Bodie asked. He wouldn't admit out loud, but a part of Bodie wanted Elijah to leave so that he and Klaus could continue with what they were doing.
Elijah waved his hand then and stumbled into the room. Klaus was taken by somewhat surprise as did Bodie, though it was Klaus who helped his brother into the room despite Elijah's mumbles that he didn't need the aid and yet he still took it. Klaus guided Elijah to the bed, and he eventually sat down. It somewhat worried the pair of them that Elijah looked almost exhausted and beaten up, it was something that was odd enough that it concerned them to wonder as to what kind of trouble Elijah could have gotten into.
"Elijah," Klaus spoke, "what's going on? Who did this to you?"
Elijah bent forward, his elbows placed on his knees, rubbing his temples slightly. "I was jumped by someone of our past. Someone of your past, Bodie. William managed to give me time to kill some of them, not before I got what I needed."
"Who was it?" Bodie asked. "If we know who it was then it might help."
"Cataline Bargeron and her brother, Amis Bargeron," Elijah told. Klaus narrowed his eyes towards Elijah like the names were unfamiliar to him.
"I know them," Bodie said. "I turned them." Klaus gave him a look as did Elijah. "Well, I mean, they died with my blood in their system. They were the ones who took their lives, I had no part in their death if you're worried about me triggering my curse." He hated lying. Though he wasn't lying about the siblings taking their own lives, he just hated lying about his curse not being triggered to them. He cleared his throat then. "Did they say what they want?"
"Revenge," Elijah stated. "On you both."
Klaus and Bodie shared a look with one another, slightly confused. Though Klaus was more confused than anything else as if his memory was slimming. Bodie, however, had a funny feeling as if he was in for the worst, knowing that whatever else these two would want would possibly ruin anything and everything dear to him. Bodie's jaw clenched as Klaus gave him a small harsh look as if he was trying to figure out what Bodie was thinking.
Being in France in 1089 was a time that Bodie didn't know that he needed and yet it was weird for Bodie to be so far away from Klaus and the rest of the Mikaelson's that and the fact that he'd spent over eighty five years away from them. The reason for him leaving was due to the fact that he and Klaus had an argument half way through their stay under the care of Count Martel—Bodie had been angry over the fact that he was apparently the Mikaelson's (who told the Count that they were the children of the Count de Guise) servant.
That and the fact that Klaus and the rest of his siblings were treating Bodie like shit for a reason that he wasn't sure on. Both Bodie and Klaus ended up in an argument over it and over the fact that Bodie had been noticing that Klaus was becoming distant from him and fawning over Count Martel's daughter to which Bodie wasn't allowed to meet or talk to given the fact that he was labelled a servant.
He knew that it was something small and that he shouldn't get jealous, but a part of Bodie was hurt that Klaus would do that to him. And it lead to an argument, their first major argument within their relationship which lead to Bodie leaving abruptly with Rebekah sobbing, begging him not to leave. He'd apologised to Rebekah and only to Rebekah, giving her a hug and telling her that he couldn't be around Klaus and the rest of them for a while. Not with how all of them—including Klaus—was treating him. Though Bodie would hand it to Rebekah that she did try and apologise for all of it, but he couldn't.
So, Bodie left, remaining in France as he had been for over eighty-five years. He'd heard the news that Mikael had come for his children and that they fled, leaving Bodie to wonder as to where they could have gone, but he'd realised that he should be enjoying his time away from the Mikaelson. Though in reality he really wasn't. He missed Klaus and holding him like he used to, he missed laughing with Rebekah and staying up late to ramble on about what was on their minds, he missed Elijah and having a genuine conversation with him, he missed Kol and having someone to fuck around with, and he even missed Finn who—despite not liking him—was one of the few who talked to him with a little respect.
However, he would admit that even with the distance between him and the Mikaelson's, he took a turn for the worst. His guilt over what he done was far grander than what Bodie thought it to be—and what made it worse was knowing how much Rebekah had cried to him about it and sought comfort in him over his death. His guilt over the murder he done, the pain that he felt from that murder, and the pain that he felt from everything that happened under Count Martel's roof. He slaughtered many, even leaving some around where the Mikaelson's were, not caring for what would happen—he was blinded by rage and guilt.
He was that blinded that his memory was sloppy over specifics. And yet, despite being blinded by everything, he did try and move on. It was then that he met the Bargeron siblings who were innocent but had been corrupted by Bodie and his hatred. He'd met them in 1089, just north of France, he'd met Cataline first, she was stunning and held a smile that reminded Bodie of Klaus. She was the one to notice Bodie laying in a field, looking up at the sky, she found it amusing as she laughed at his actions, and Bodie felt as if his heart stopped for a moment.
For the first time in a while, Cataline made him smile and laugh. She brought him home only for Bodie to realise that her father was a Baron. And something that surprised Bodie even in his shitty lie of him being Spain's king's son who just so happened to be Sancho Ramírez who Bodie never met in his life. And yet, Cataline's father believed his lie, wanting to keep a lying prince in his home in hopes that it would give him good luck in life. Bodie panicked and he hated how stupid his lie was, but even still, his lie allowed him to spend time with Cataline.
As much as he wouldn't admit to himself or out loud was that he finally felt connected to someone that wasn't in any shape or form to the Mikaelson's. And what made all of this worse for him was the fact that she was helplessly in love with him and there was nothing that he could do to convince her that he wasn't what she truly wanted. It was too late for Bodie to back out, he was caught too deep, and he couldn't deny himself any longer.
They had been sleeping together behind her father's back and even when her brother—Amis—warned Bodie away from her, he couldn't help himself. Cataline was stunning and there was just something captive about the way that she talked and the way that she seemed to just understand anything and everything Bodie talked about.
Bodie had fallen, even if he had promised himself not to because of Klaus. But he couldn't think of Klaus when he was in her presence. And within a moment of weakness, he told her that he wasn't human, that he wasn't what she thought him to be. Of course, she was freaked out and wanted him out of her room and it caused him to panic more than what he already was. He bit her though not before Cataline cut him—Bodie hadn't noticed how a bit of his blood went into her system.
It took a moment before he realised what he was doing before he then stopped and backed away. Cataline had fallen to her knees sobbing with a hand to her neck. He knelt down beside her, despite her wanting to pull away and back away, he made her look at him. He compelled her to forget what just happened and if something within her was telling her that something was off, to drive a knife through her own heart. He knew it was harsh, but he'd rather the woman he loved be dead rather than spilling his secret to the human world.
After he finished that, he backed out of her room, though had bumped into Amis—her brother—who began to argue with him. He couldn't deal with the arguing, the weight on his shoulders were too great. Blinded by him trying to push everything down, he took a knife which he slipped from Cataline and dragged it over the palm of his hand, he compelled Amis to drink, to which he did, before compelling him further to get himself killed whether it be by his hand or someone else.
They both died a few hours after Bodie compelled them, making him the cause of death towards other people that he cared about.
"Bodie!" Klaus snapped, shaking him out of his thoughts. He wasn't sure how long he was in a daze for, but it was enough for him not to realise that he'd sat down on the bed while Elijah got his fill of blood and looked like the normal Elijah that Bodie recognised. "Bodie," Klaus' voice was gentle then, his hands were on either side of his face, his thumbs stroking his skin.
"They came for me," Bodie mumbled. "I killed them. I lied to them. I broke them." He then sighed. "They're my problem."
Klaus gave him an odd look, almost as if he didn't like the thought. "No, they're our problem. They're after us."
"They're after me, not you." Bodie said. "I'll deal with it and bring back their hearts in time for breakfast. You take care of each other, and I'll be back soon."
Bodie went to walk towards the door then, he didn't care for not being dressed properly, he'd rather just kill them and get it over and done with. Bodie knew that he hadn't told the pair anything that was bad—like his greatest regret—but he still feared that they might tell Klaus and Elijah something that he'd rather them not know. It wasn't the fact that he was worried about his history with them being told to either of them, there was just a small part of him which was paranoid over whether or not there he told them about something he still needed to say to the Mikaelson's, like his shitty lie of convincing them that he was a Spanish prince.
He went to open the door then but was stopped when Klaus decided to slam Bodie's body into the door, their faces inches from each other. Dramatic bastard. Elijah pinched the bridge of his nose, mumbling something under his breath about Klaus' behaviour with Bodie. And yet, Klaus was almost glad to be so close to Bodie once again.
"You're not doing this alone, Bo," Klaus said. His finger stroked Bodie's cheek then with an amused smile. "Especially not wearing my clothes."
Bodie rolled his eyes slightly. "If I want to wear your clothes while planning to murder two people from my past, then so be it. But this is my thing to sort out."
"I'll gladly join you, Bodie," Klaus grinned slightly. "You think that you're going to do this alone, but we're in this together. They want their revenge on the pair of us for a reason I want to know as to why, I intend to find out why while I remove their heads from their shoulders."
Bodie hit the back of his head against the door then. "Fine." He couldn't remember the last time that the pair of them went against a common enemy—or whatever he thought the Bargeron's to be—in a way, it made him smile slightly at the thought of them working together. This would be different. He hoped that it would be different. As long as it meant spending more time with Klaus, then so be it.
