06; klaus and bodie and their urges

Chapter Six
『klaus and bodie and their urges』

⋅⋆✯✼⋆⋅

He didn't know how he got into this position. One minute both he and Klaus were in the Mikaelson brother's temporary house, and the next, they'd managed to wiggle their way out of the house and found themselves back at Bodie's house. He'd tried to convince himself that dragging Klaus back here was just easier for them to not have anyone breathing down their necks in hopes that they'd keep their hands off each other. Yet that wasn't exactly a lie, in some perfect way, it was part of a lie, he wouldn't have cared either way whether or not there were people around them, he just wanted Klaus.

As soon as the door behind them closed, Bodie held onto Klaus like his life depended on it in some way. Since Klaus came back into Bodie's life, there was this urge that he always had to touch Klaus, yet the urge to just hug him was there but not as great as anything else. And yet, holding Klaus was something of a comfort in its odd, weird way. The sudden hug seemed to take Klaus by somewhat surprise and yet he wrapped his arms around Bodie's body.

"I missed you," Bodie mumbled. "I'm sorry for not coming back sooner. I should've. Fifty years is too long of a break."

Klaus hummed, Bodie could hear the smile in his hum. "I missed you too, Bo. We've had longer breaks, but hopefully our time together would be longer."

Bodie grinned, pulling away from Klaus just enough to stare at Klaus. "I'd rather not leave again. I don't think I'd be able to deal with it again. Plus, your brother threatened me that if I broke your heart again that he'd kill either Will or Henry."

Klaus rolled his eyes partly at that before letting out a small laugh. Bodie narrowed his eyes at him and yet Klaus still laughed as if what Bodie said was amusing—he didn't find it all that funny which made Bodie both confused and a little annoyed.

"Stop," Bodie whined. "It's not funny."

"No, it's the fact that you got threatened by my brother over hurting me again." Klaus said, clearly finding it all amusing.

Bodie pulled away from Klaus then. "God, you're annoying. Your brother can be just intimidating as you but at least he is all polite about it. Polite and threatening." He shivered then. "It scares the shit out of me, his nice guy act makes it worse."

Klaus rose his eyebrows at that. "Now I would say I'm offended that Elijah scares you more than I do—"

Bodie made a sound, which cut Klaus off of what he was going to say. "Ugh, excuse me, the only reason why I'm not scared of you is because I love you."

Klaus gave him this look which made Bodie realise as to what he said. He'd turned away from Klaus out of near embarrassment, they weren't even back together and already Bodie was proclaiming his love for Klaus in a normal conversation. He cursed at himself under his breath and ended up walking towards the kitchen in hopes that it would stop him from saying anything else that might embarrass him. And yet, before he had the chance to set foot into the kitchen, he'd found himself getting pinned against the wall leading into the kitchen. Bodie's eyes widened slightly as he stared at Klaus who'd pinned Bodie there.

Klaus tilted his head then, a small smile growing wider was plastered on his face. Bodie tried to ignore it by looking away in an attempt to hide his expression, but it was then that Klaus placed two fingers under Bodie, making him look up. "Do not hurt me again, Bodie, if we get back together. Will you promise me that?"

"I promise," Bodie whispered. "I swear to you, Klaus Mikaelson, that I will not hurt you. Not again."

"Good," Klaus mumbled before pressing his lips against Bodie's. He'd pushed himself more towards Bodie, his kiss hardened against his lips, making a small noise escape Bodie's lips against Klaus'.

Bodie rose to touch Klaus' neck, his thumbs stroking the exposed skin on the Original's neck. He'd felt the way that Klaus' hands were just sitting on his waist under his shirt and jacket. He'd felt himself loosing himself into the kiss, all which filled his mind was Klaus' lips and touch and the need to want more—to have more.

He'd forced Klaus back, still kissing Klaus, yet there was the occasion that they'd pause for a brief moment just to look where they were going before being on each other once again. It wasn't until Klaus fell from the back of his knees hitting the arm of the sofa which put a pause on their kiss.

   "Oh shit," Bodie cussed. "Sorry."

Klaus grinned in a way that almost looked unusually soft. "Bedroom?" He offered.

   Bodie nodded. "Bedroom."

Bodie laid on his back after rolling himself off Klaus. He'd found himself out of breath and yet he'd wanted more. He'd forgotten just how much this took out of him, more so when it was with Klaus, and yet, it was something that he'd oddly missed in some fucked up way. He'd almost forgot what it was like to do something like this with Klaus, to have Klaus the way that he did, to have Klaus without putting up a front of the feared person he made himself to be. To have Klaus for Klaus was something different every time, almost as if a reminder that they aren't the same people as they were when they met but still are in some small way, as if that small part of them were who and what they were when they met.

Bodie rolled to his side to stare at Klaus who was already looking at him. He gave Klaus a smile before reaching out to just lightly touch his waist. And like normal, Klaus' skin was warm under his touch and soft, reminding Bodie that no matter how much he tries to fight against his feelings for the man in front of him, that it would never happen—that his feelings for the great Klaus Mikaelson will always be strong.

He knew that somewhere where the dead laid, his parents are probably cursing him out for being with someone like Klaus, for dating the son of the one that murdered them and the son of the one that turned him into this beast. But if he had to tell the truth, there would have been a time that he would have cared for his parents' opinion, but his love for Klaus wasn't up for discussion, his love for someone like Klaus wasn't to be talked about in the way that parents talked about partners.

"Bodie," Klaus spoke, lowly. He'd touched Bodie's arm, stroking it. "Talk to me."

He opened his mouth to speak, but he closed it again, not sure what to say. He then sighed. "Out of every single place on this planet, why come here? Why England? Why Wembley?"

Klaus have him an odd look and almost pulled his hand away from Bodie's arm, but he didn't. "Because I heard a rumour that you left Missouri. I wanted to be closer to you."

"You were keeping tabs on me?" Bodie asked, trying to hide his smile. "You wanted to be near me? After everything that happened before?"

Klaus shrugged then. "Yes, I was. You think that you're the only one who keeps tabs on the other?" He then rubbed his eye. "And yes, I do. I was worried just in case Mikael got to you, or one of my enemies figured out what makes you so special to me. And I. . ." He paused for a moment, as if he was debating on continuing what he was saying, "missed you."

Bodie smiled then. "You missed me?" He knew that there were other things that he should focus on, but the idea that Klaus missed him was all which seemed to fill his mind. He then cleared his throat then. "Did you actually miss me or was your fear of your enemies greater?"

Klaus then leaned over, placing a hand on Bodie's cheek before kissing him. It was quick, quick enough that it made Bodie want more. "I did miss you, Bodie. Don't mistake my worry about my enemies as me not loving you. And I came here because even if I don't seem like I do, but I need your help. You seem to understand as to why I'm doing what I'm doing, and I need that. I need you and I missed you."

"Aw," Bodie grinned. "Klaus is being sappy. Are you feeling okay? Or should I call Elijah to check if you somehow got ill?"

Klaus shook his head laughing, moving to sit up. "Would you rather I threaten you?"

"I'd rather kiss you," Bodie muttered as he leant up on his forearms, wiggling up a little so that his back was somewhat against the headrest.

"Is that all?" Klaus quirked up an eyebrow as he gave Bodie a look.

"You." Bodie said. "Just all of you. That's all I want." He then leaned himself against Klaus' shoulder. "I should've come back to you earlier."

Klaus hadn't said anything, instead he'd wrapped his arm around Bodie's neck. Bodie found that his eyes were heavy, and after a moment of struggling, he'd closed his eyes, somewhat nuzzling his head into Klaus' shoulder. There was just something comforting about using Klaus as his pillow, that and the fact that being wrapped up in his arms were just comfortable just as a whole. He loved these moments where all Bodie did was sleep on Klaus like he was about to go away.

"I love you, Klaus Mikaelson." Bodie said, fighting everything within him to not fall asleep.

"Sleep, my love," Klaus mumbled as he placed a kiss on the top of Bodie's head, his thumb rubbing against Bodie's arm.

When Bodie awoke, he was being shaken awake. He'd jumped at the sudden shake which made him groan slightly. It wasn't until he opened his eyes to see how Will was standing there looking as if he was about to beat the shit out of Bodie for whatever reason that Bodie couldn't be bothered to think of.

However, it was then that Bodie took notice that he was no longer laying on Klaus. Klaus wasn't even in the room at all which unexpectedly hurt Bodie slightly. He thought that Klaus would be here when he woke up. Did Bodie saying that he loved Klaus, drive him away? Did he drive Klaus away? Klaus was here, or did he imagine it?

"Where's Klaus?" Bodie asked, sleep thick in his voice as he pushed himself up a little.

Will scoffed. "Oh, so that's why you're here? For fucks sake, Bodie!"

Bodie gave him a look, not feeling as if he could process anything that was being said. "What?" He then looked around to see that his room was still somewhat in tack, yet it was still a little messier than what he remembered it to be. "What happened? Klaus?"

Will pinched his nose with a sigh and then he groaned. "Fuck Klaus!"

   "Covered that, already."

"Disgusting." Will pulled a face. He then hit Bodie. "Your precious Klaus ransacked our house while you slept! Elijah forced us out of their house, and they now have all of our fucking grimoires, and now the witches are never going to trust me ever again!"

"What?" Bodie said, more so for himself. Klaus wouldn't do that. Bodie thought that Klaus wouldn't do that, especially to him. Klaus wouldn't do this, he wouldn't sleep with him only to ransack his home. But Klaus did. He did and now Bodie wasn't sure what to do with himself. Did Klaus use him just to get what he wanted? Probably. But Klaus never used him just to get what he wanted.

"You're not even listening!" Will groaned which made Bodie snap out of his thoughts.

"Sorry," Bodie grumbled. Will shook his head and went to walk away. "Where you going?"

"Going to fucking kill both Klaus and Elijah." Will responded, leaving Bodie's room. "Considering that you'd rather Klaus' dick up your ass, you're staying here."

"Good luck killing the pair of them without a white oak stake," Bodie called out.

"Didn't ask for your input," Will shot back from the stairs.

Bodie sighed and got up. He knew that anyone who went against Klaus and Elijah was basically a death sentence for those who planned to go against them. He'd shoved his clothes back on—which had been scattered over the room—and went to follow Will. Yet before he left his room, he took notice of a note that laid on the desk that he had in his room.

He'd gone over and picked it up. There on a piece of paper from a notebook that Bodie bought but never used, was Klaus' handwriting bold and a little scruffy, something that Bodie hasn't seen in years. It read:

Dear Bodie,

I know that I said that I missed you and truly I do and have, but I can't have my heart broken by you, knowing that it could have been avoided if I listened to those who care, but don't mistake me walking out as me turning my back on you.

I want you, I truly do, I need you. Bodie, I know that when you wake up and see the state of your room, that you will see me as someone who broke your trust more than what I originally have, but I need to be sure that if we do rekindle our old feelings that all of this is true.

I have taken what I need in order to be what you said as 'whole', I'm sorry for it being in the way that you have woken up in. I'm sorry, my love, for all of this.

I love you. I love you. I love you.
And I'm sorry.

Forever yours,
Klaus Mikaelson xx

Bodie just stared at it, reading it over and over again, trying to process what was written on the page. He tried to make sense of what he read. One minute Klaus was saying that he missed Bodie, the next it felt as if Klaus was pushing him away. He understood that Klaus didn't want to have his heart broken again, but to write it in a note made Bodie question everything.

Did he mean that little to Klaus that he'd rather tell Bodie this in a note? And to ransack his house for what he needs after sleeping with him? Klaus fucked Bodie and then decided to ruin his house in search of whatever he needed to become what he's been denied of. Bodie was confused just as a whole, he knew that Klaus didn't want to have his heart broken which Bodie understood, but for him to confuse Bodie in the way that he did, hurt Bodie as if he'd been staked. He thought that there was a chance for them to be with each other once again, but clearly Bodie was wrong to get his hopes up.

He thought ever so much that he'd be able to call Klaus his even if it was a short while, but clearly Bode got his hopes up for them to be together again. And what was worse, he believed that Klaus loved him within the overly intimate moments, but clearly, Klaus' fear of his heart being broke was greater than anything.

'Forever yours' seemed like a joke if they were paranoid enough to ransack his house after a few hours of bliss.
