I'll Be Fine
A/N: THANK YOU GUYS FOR OVER 100 VOTES!!
Recap~
I glared at the taller, blonde coconut, "He gets scared as well," I hissed out, my tone laced with anger, "He's still human, you know. Just because he has the title of Humanities Strongest, doesn't mean that he isn't like the rest of us." I uncrossed my arms, letting them fall to my sides before clenching them into tight fists that turned my knuckles white, "Sure, he installs fear into almost everyone he looks at, and, sure, he acts like he doesn't care about anything or anyone, but that's just it, it's all an act. A f*cking act, I tell you." I breathed in and out heavily, tired from talking angrily so much.
I calmed down a bit, unclenching my fists and gazing at Armin with a soft look before speaking in tone of love and fondness, but there was a tinge of sadness, "He's just a...
"Reluctant hero."
Chapter Fourteen~ 1488 Words
I didn't wait to see what the blonde coconut wanted to talk to me about and, quite frankly, I didn't really care. I was too pissed off to care about anything at that moment.
I stomped off, leaving Armin stunned to silence. I think he was scared of me after that encounter. Tch, serves him right. What does he know about Levi? What does he know about what he's been through? Nothing. Not a damn thing.
Just thinking about it made me pissed off even more. Levi was like a brother to me; he was family. And I didn't like my family being thought of as 'heartless' and 'cruel'. It was just so wrong because... because he does have a heart; he does have emotions.
Levi doesn't show his emotions a lot, but... but that doesn't mean he doesn't have any. He does. More than he'd like to admit.
Speaking of Levi, I remembered he had asked me to find him after I finished talking with Armin, who was still standing there, mouth open like a gaping fish.
With that thought in mind, I tried to calm my angry stomps and lessen my glare at anything I caught sight off, calmly stepping up the stairs to the main room. The room where I saw Levi head off to before he left; hopefully, he was still there.
oOo
I didn't find Levi in the main room, but I found him on the roof. Why he was there? I had no idea, but I didn't really care to ask because I knew he had his own reasons.
I sat down next to him as he watched the Titans roam past us, not paying us any attention as they focused on one particular Titan who was to the far left of us, doing its best to fend off all the other Titans.
He didn't even take one look at me before he spoke, "Seki, did you know?" He paused as I sent a confused look at him. He gazed at me from the corner of his eye, still facing Eren's Titan. He jerked his head forward towards said Titan [No Dirty Thoughts], "Him? Did you know about him?"
I turned my head to gaze at what he was looking at, despite already knowing what he was talking about, "Yeah, I did."
"Who is he?" Was his immediate response.
I hesitated, 'should I really tell him?' After a moment, I decided... why not? I mean, yolo, am I right, "Eren. His Name is Eren Jaeger. He placed 5th in the 104th training squad."
He nodded, "Eren, huh?"
oOo
After everyone had refilled their gas tanks, they all started heading off towards the wall - Wall Rose, I'm pretty sure. Well, it was everybody except Mikasa, Armin, Bertolt, Reiner, Annie, Jean, Levi and I.
We were all gathered up on a roof, Jean trying to convince us to leave but we our gazes were fixated on the very Titan who had saved our - I mean, their lives. I would've been perfectly fine seeing as Titans avoid me and such. Plus, the fact that I'm... immortal.
It would still hurt as all hell if I got hurt though.
"What's so special about that Titan anyway? It's just another Titan; just write it off as an abnormal or something." Jean pleaded but the rest weren't listening to him.
"It's not an abnormal." I stated as, wincing as I called Eren an 'it'.
"Then, what is it then?!" Jean demanded, "If it's not an abnormal Titan then, what is it?"
I sighed, "Why do you think I would know the answer to that?" Well, I did know the answer to that question... but he didn't need to know that. Jean groaned, frustrated before I spoke once again, "Besides, we should probably go and check up on it, seeing as the other Titans are devouring it..."
As I said that, everybody turned their attention to said Titan as it was indeed doing what I had informed; getting devoured.
"Actually, wait. Let's just watch first," I changed my mind about helping Eren out because I knew that the most important part is going to happen soon; he's not going to launch at an abnormal Titan because that Titan didn't kill Thomas because I saved him - that's... not good.
I groaned internally, I should have really thought of the consequences before I saved anyone; maybe, I should've let Thomas die, but the others live..? No, that would've been cruel. But even so, if Thomas died, I wouldn't be having this argument with myself.
Why did this have to be so infuriating?!
I groaned again, this time aloud, "I need to do something about this.." I mumbled.
I received a subtle questioning look from the person beside me; Levi, "Need to something about what?" He asked, loud enough so everyone he stood on the roof with us could hear.
I smirked at him, "Just watch," And with that, I pressed on the trigger of my 3DMG, aiming at a rooftop near the cluster of Titans but far enough away to lead the Titans who were devouring Eren's Titan away, "Hey, you big, ugly lump of flesh, come over here! I've got something for you!"
Immediately after I called out to them, they started heading my way, not hesitating to leave their meal for me.
[SPOILER ALERT]
Since angels are a superior race to humans, and since Titans are in fact humans I have power over the Titans. But because I'm a fallen angel, I don't have as much power as full-fledged angels, which sucks... a lot.
[END OF SPOILER]
(Basically, the Paragraph just informs that because she's an angel, she has power over Titans and humans, but since she's a fallen angel, she doesn't have as much power as actual angels)
Real angels have the power to do all it's anything they want; the only thing they can't do (without punishment) is kill another angel, human or demon/devil. But they are allowed to kill fallen angels, but only under the order of the head angel.
Even though angels aren't allowed to kill humans, they can do it indirectly. You see, they can't stab someone with a knife but they can get someone else do it for them, which is really weird in my opinion.
And let me tell you, the only way to kill an angel or a fallen one is to either stab their heart with a crimson bow and arrow or... well, this one's not important.
But enough about angels and fallen ones, let's get back to where we were... hm.. oh, right!
As the Titans started darting their way towards me, I heard someone yell my name, "KISEKI! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! YOU'RE GOING TO GET KILLED!" Ahh, I recognised that squeaky voice; it was Armin. How sweet, he cared about me.
I didn't respond to him, seeing as I was busy trying to keep the Titans distracted because the abnormal Titan that 'ate Thomas' couldn't do it because well... I killed it.
"Captain Levi! Can't you do something?!" I heard Armin yell again, but it was quieter, seeing as Levi was standing a bit ways away from him. I couldn't hear his reply since I was too far away. Also because, Levi doesn't shout... well, only when someone who cares about is dying or something.
But he knows that I'm immortal so I'll be just fine.
Just... fine.
Hah, who am I kidding? Just fine? What a joke! I wasn't going to be fine at all.
But that's only because I wasn't looking where I was going and accidentally fell off the roof as I was sprinting backwards. Why I didn't use my gear you ask? Well, I got cocky. Let's just leave it at that.
Yeah, yeah, laugh all you want.
But let me warn you... Don't run backwards on a roof... you might fall.
Just like how I did.
