"Nathan" Heather calls my name over the phone. A wave of relief soar within my veins. I have been waiting for her call since couldn't get a hold of her. Before I left Italy.

"Yes Heather did you see Ashley? Is everything okay? Is she okay?" All the questions pops out as soon as they were formed. I wanted to know what was happening with her last night.

"Ashley isn't doing well." I don't like the sound of that at all.

"Heather what's going on?" I can't help but wonder that whatever is happening with her is my fault. I shouldn't have left for Italy. I should have been man enough and explain to her why I couldn't say the words she wanted to hear. But most of all I should have stayed with her. I Squeezed my left ankle with my left hand as I was on edge, fill with anticipation as to what she is going to tell me.

"You need to get to the hospital now."

"What's wrong with Ashley?" Is this happening because she lost her son. Is she attacking the doctor's who were responsible not letting her see him before he was burned to ashes.

"Ashley no!" I heard Heather shouted "I have to go."

"Heather! Heather!" I yelled her but she already cut the call.

"Take me to the hospital." I tell the driver.

"Nathan what's going on?" Jai asked me with a worried expression on his face.

"Something's wrong with Ashley." My heart hurts and leaps out to her. I want to be with her now​.

"Speed up." I yelled. I wish I was the one behind the wheels.

"I will call Lisa and ask her." Jai tells me and I feel a little comfort inside.

"Okay" I whispered as I loosen my tie and breathe a little.

Jai was speaking on the phone but I never heard a word he said because my mind was all out trying to grasp what was happening.

If it was me sometime ago I wouldn't have cared. I would just fuck her, give her what she wanted and goes our separate ways.

The me now is different. I have finally learn to care about someone else that myself and it all begins with her. She is in my mind every minute of everyday.

"She doesn't know what is happening with Ashley. She is going to the hospital now." Jai tells me as he pushes his phone in his pocket. How could she have her best friend and don't know what is happening, did she even checks up on her. Then again she has her hand full​ will Matthew.

We reached the hospital not as fast as I wanted to. I rushed out of the car before it was even parked leaving Jai behind. I called Heather and she tells me the room number so I get in the elevator and push the button for the sixth floor.

Heather was waiting for me at the door. She looks tired then again I woke her last night and I guess she's here ever since.

"What's wrong with Ashley?" I asked Heather.

"She's going crazy, cutting herself , attacking doctors." Heather whispers. "Look at this." She pointed to a scar on her risk. "She scratched me." I could see the concerned in Heather eyes and it pleases​ me to know that she cares about Ashley.

Heather was saying something else but I walked away I can't stay another minute away from Ashley. I push the door and entered. She turned her head in my direction when she heard the door. My eyes meets hers, then I take in her appearance. Her hair was disheveled like it hasn't been comb for days. Then I noticed her hands, her hands are tied infront for her. My foot take me over to her immediately. I don't know the reason for her hands been tied but I untangled​ them immediately and pulled her into my arms.

"Nathan..." She breathes. I placed my chin on top of her head.

"Sshh, daddy's here." I whispered , pulling her tighter into my arms. I just can't get enough of her. I know that she wanted comfort , she wanted to know that someone cares about her and I do. I place a kiss on her forehead.

"Ashley what's happening." I asked her after mine. This is my fault, I just knew it.

"We can't have sex anymore." Those words were like a dagger to the heart. She have given me the best sex ever in years and I crave for her every single day. Right now she's generating so much electricity in my body. Even when she's wearing an hospital gown.

"What? Is this because I walked out on you? Did I hurt you?" I did fucked her hard.

"No, it's because I'm cursed. I'm infected."

"What?" I asked confused as ever.

"Baby please tell me what is going on?" A tear crawls from my eyes and fall into her hair.

"Please, find someone else to love!" She screamed pushing me so hard that I fell from the bed on my butt and that's when I saw her foot wrapped in bandage.

I stand up, sit on the bed and pulled her feet into my lap.

"Baby please tell me what's happening to you. I will go get the doctor if you refuse to lap." I pleaded with her.

"The doctor's can't help." She tells me. Her eyes meeting mine for just a second and then she looked away.

"What?" I don't understand.

"Ashley please!" I pleaded with her. I really want to know. I want to help her get through this, whatever it is that's happening with her. I cursed myself now for going to Italy leaving her behind. I should have take her with me. I should have.

She went silent not talking to me. This silence is killing me. "I will go get the doctor then." I told her, lifting her foot gentle and placing it on the bed.

"It's Joel." She whispers. I turned looking at her. I noticed for the first time that she wasn't crying. What did her do to her. Is he the one that cut her. I'm going to get him and beat the fuck out of him if he hurts her. If he even layed a finger on her.

"What did he do? Did he hurt you? Tell me because I'm going to get him." I don't have a clue what he looks like but I'm going to find out and...

"He gave-" she cuts off her words.

"Please say?"

"He got HIV." That wasn't something I was expecting to hear. Infected? Her earlier words surfaced in my brain. I can she way she's​ so freaked out. She's worried and scared.

"Did he gave it to you.?" I can't help but asked​. I'm going to kill that mother fucker.

"I-" I cut her off before I heard what she's going to say.

"No matter what Ashley. I will be with you every step of the way. You are my wife and I am your husband." I reached my hands and blanket it around her palms. "Through sickness and in health." She reached forward and hugs me.

"I'm glad you're here." I'm glad I'm here.

"I will be with you always."

"I am too scared to take the test." She tells me. I looked into her eyes , she was so scared. "I'm afraid of what the results might be." She held down her head and plays with her fingers.

"Baby." I held her cheek making her eyes​ meet mine "I know your​ scared. This is something that will be with you forever​." It's sounds so wrong to say it out loud " but I will be here with you. Infact I will take the test with you." I have sleep around alot but I make sure to always wrapped it up.

Her eyes shines for the first time since forever "really?" She asked.

"Yes." I nodd, kissing her on these beautiful delicious lips. Really kisses her. I miss these lips.

"Heather!" I called. I see her standing with Jai. They both enter the room. "Get the doctor please."

"Okay" she nods walking away.

The doctor returned and we spoke in confidence. Heather , Jai and Lisa when down to the cafeteria to get coffee. So it was just Ashley and I. No need for everyone to know about this part of our lives. Somethings are not meant to be shared.

"You will get your results tomorrow." The doctor tells us as he removed the last vile of blood from me. Our names were labeled carefully on each vile.

"Can we get them today?" I asked. Because tomorrow means one more day of waiting. One more day for my Ashley being stressed out. And I don't want her to feel anymore pain.

"No, we have to make sure it's accurate and true. So tomorrow you will get your results." He tells us as the nurses lift the box containing our blood and left.

"Can you wait another day?" I asked Ashley.

"Yes" she nods "with you here I can." I hugged her as the doctor left. It time for us to go home.

"Ashley are you okay? I'm so sorry I didn't check up on you. I'm sure a terrible friend." Lisa hugs her as soon as we stepped off the elevator.

"Please take me home." She whispered just loud enough only for me to ear.

"I'm fine I will talk to you later." Ashley replied her.

"Heather thank you so much." I pulled Heather into a hug. I don't even want to think about what would happen if Heather didn't show up when she did.

"No biggie" She smile punching me on the shoulder.

Ashley hugs Heather whispering something into her ear and Heather nodds.

Jai hands was wrapped around Lisa waist "I miss you so much." He whispers trying not to make me here but I did. Then he kisses her and we left. Since I didn't drive I asked Heather to gave me a ride home because I know Jai can't wait to jump Lisa bones.

I make sure to give Ashley tea and I made a chicken sandwich for her. I watched as she devour it all.

"I was so hungry. Thank you" she told me as she bit into the sandwich.

"Anytime love." Look at her, this beauty I get to call wife. I clean the mess she had made and she drank so much alcohol. I need to get rid of the rest. Alcohol hasn't done us any good.

Except leading us to each other and that I love.

"Come Hun time for your shower" She really need a bath. I led her upstairs to my bathroom. Trying not to make her pressure the wound on her foot. I turn on the tap to heat up. Then I take the pleasure in undressing her. So fucking beautiful.

"I can do it myself." She tells me.

"I know but now I will do it for you."

She stepped into the bath and I pour body wash on her using the rag to wash her perfect body. She tremble under my touch.

"Please join me." She begs and I looked up at her.

"Are you sure?" I questioned.

"Yes" she nods looking into​ my eyes.

I removed my clothes immediately and let the bath full then I sit pulling her to sit in front of me. I sponge her off gentle she pushed her hand back feeling her shoulder. She's tempting me but tonight I will resist.

"Thank you for everything." She whispers.

"There are people who come into your life to wreck it or to be your friend. I choose to be your friend and be with you" I placed a kiss on her collar bone.

"It's like I'm melting." She tells me.

"So melt and then I will help to mould you into a strong person." She turns and kiss me.

I was hesitant at first but when I see her greed so I kissed her back. This kiss is shooting fireworks throughout my entire body, even my toes are curling. That never happened before.

"I love you" she breathes.

I smile against her lips. I have been waiting so long to left Italy so I could tell her these words but right now my brain is too stubborn and refused to say it.

I stand from the shower with her legs wrapped around me. Lips still glued on hers then I make my way to my bed. Placing her gentle on the silky sheet's. I look at this goddess body infront of me. Damn so perfect.

But tonight I refused to fuck her. She's not thinking straight. I know sometimes a good fuck help you to forget things but I am not taking advantage of her vnurable state.

As much as my cock is at full attention to learn her lessons​. I make my way to the closet pulled out a robe and let her cover herself. I wrapped a towel around my waist then I take another towel and towel dry her hair. She told me she had a blow dryer in her room so I went and get it. I blow dryed her nice silky hair then I put on a sweat pants. Get on the bed, pulled her into my chest and let her have a peaceful sleep.

She's melting and I will help to mould her back into a stronger person.
