Amilia POV

I know this is the same as the prologue but I had to do it this way because the prologue took place at this point in time in the book so yes the first part of the chapter is the same but there is more added so please don't skip the chapter and read on to see what happened.

"I Mikael Carter reject you Amilia Goodwin as my mate!" He spat out and left like I didn't matter to him.

"Daddy, he...he almost cut me and choked me, and he tried to kill me." I said and my voice was raspy and I fell to the ground as I was trying to get out of bed and daddy ran to my side as I felt I was going to pass out.

"Who baby, who hurt you?" Daddy wasn't home when my mate and I came to the house after we met in a café, I wanted to talk things out with him.

I met him years ago and he of course knew who I was, everyone does. I found out he was my mate the day I turned sixteen and told him soon after so I met with him because I was tired of hurting, tired of feeling the pain of him screwing other people and wanted to tell him to either accept me or reject me.

He said he accepted me and as we were almost about to mate, he got something from his pocket from his pants that were on the floor and I thought it was a condom but no, I didn't pay attention to what he grabbed until I felt the cold blade of the knife at my breasts and he almost cut me and I tried to scream to get someone, anyone and he looked horrified at me and he got off the bed, went out the window.

Since that day I had thought about having surgery to make me look like a female because I was tired of hurting, tired of feeling like I didn't belong, tired of feeling like a damn freak. I didn't want to believe Mikael was my mate, I tried to deny it and after that day he hurt me, I decided to also reject him because if he can hurt me like that after knowing we are mates, who knows what else he will do to me if we were ever fully alone?

So I talked to daddy and we had planned on me going to this resort to have my surgeries and once Mikael sees what he could have had, I will make him hurt in ways that I wish upon him for all the hurt he has caused me over the years.

"Alright, are you ready to see the final results?" My plastic surgeon, Dr. Morgan asked when he walked into my room at the resort. At first I was at the hospital for a final check up before we came to this incredible resort where I had my breast implants, a nose job and reconstructive surgery to make me female down below. I also have started estrogen and today I get to see how it looks since I have finally healed.

"Yes, I'm excited." I said and he smiled. Daddy and papa are with me, I don't mind because daddy has seen me at my worst so I want him to see me at my best.

"Ok go stand in front of the full length mirror and we'll get started." I got up from my bed and went to the mirror. I haven't looked at myself since I had my surgeries, I haven't even been able to shower, just sponge baths so I am looking at myself for the first time today.

"Ok I'm going to untie your gown and take the bandages off." Dr. Morgan said and he untied the gown and took it off my shoulders and it fell to the floor. I kept my eyes closed as he took the bandages around my chest and nose and my lower body. Once he was done I felt him back up a little.

"Ok open your eyes." He said and I slowly opened my eyes and looked at myself and gasped at the new body I see. My nose looks amazing and my breasts, oh gosh they look amazing. I slowly reached up and touched them and my eyes filled with tears at how real they felt. I gently squeezed them and I looked down at myself in the mirror and it was nice to see how everything looks, how it's supposed to look on a woman, no more one ball or three inch thin penis or clit. It was normal. I was handed a robe and I put it on, tied it and looked at my daddy, papa and the doctor. I hugged the doctor and cried as he held me.

"Thank you." I said over and over again.

"You're welcome Amilia." He said softly and I let him go and wiped my face and eyes.

"Do you like the results?" Daddy asked and I smiled big and nodded happily. He hugged me and kissed me.

"Yes, I am so happy. Thank you for doing this for me daddy." I said into his neck and his hold on me tightened.

"As I said, anything for you baby girl. You look absolutely beautiful. I'm not talking about the changes either. I'm talking about your smile and eyes, you are glowing with happiness and it makes you even more beautiful. I have waited so long to see you truly happy with yourself and it was worth the wait to see it now." Daddy said as he cupped my face in his hands and smiled at me.

"I feel like me daddy, I feel normal. Not like a freak."

"You were never a freak Amilia Olivia, you were and are perfect in every way no matter what anyone says. I'm just happy you are happy." Daddy said and wiped my stray tears off my cheeks.

"Now that you are all healed and everything looks great, you can leave." Dr. Morgan said and as much as I loved it at this resort, I can't wait to go home and see Garrett. He hasn't been here but the first day because I wanted him to see me when I was healed and it's been a week since I have been here so I'm excited to go home.

"Awesome. I need to go to the mall though and go shopping, I need clothes." I said and daddy chuckled.

"Already had that planned baby girl." He said and handed me a pair of shorts and a tank top along with a new bra that has no padding and it's purple with lace and a pair of panties.

"Thanks daddy." I said and went to the bathroom to change. I put on my bra and I smiled, it felt nice wearing one without padding and it filled up nicely. I got the rest of my clothes on and looked in the mirror. I look amazing. I put my flip flops on and walked out after I put my hair up in a messy bun.

"Ready." I said and daddy nodded. Papa walked over to me and lifted me up and hugged me tightly against his chest.

"You look stunning darlin." Papa said and kissed my cheek. I kissed him and he smiled.

"Thanks papa, I feel wonderful. Do you think Corey and Kelly will be excited?" I asked nervously. I love Corey and Kelly so much. We all grew up together and are closer than siblings so their thoughts mean the world to me.

"Yes, they know how much you wanted to do this, how you struggled and once they see how happy you are, they will be thrilled for you." He said and I sighed softly and smiled.

"Well let's go. I checked you out while you were in the bathroom. I also have your things already packed so we're good to go." Daddy said and grabbed my bag and we left. I waved and said bye to everyone as we passed by. We got to the truck and daddy helped me in because I'm still too short to get in without help. Once we were all in, daddy drove the ninety minutes to the city and stopped at the mall.

"I'm hungry so can we eat before we shop?" I asked and daddy nodded.

"Of course. I'm hungry to." He said and papa chuckled.

"You and your food." Papa and I said at the same time and daddy smirked.

"You're damn right." He said and opened the door for me and papa when we got to the entrance of the mall. We went to the food court and I looked at all there was and walked over to the pizza one. Daddy and papa came up behind me and we placed our order and waited for it after daddy paid and when our food was done, we sat at a table and ate.

"What kind of clothes are you wanting to get?" Daddy asked in between bites.

"Well I would like some tighter clothes now that I have a body to fill them out. I don't need any shorts or pants, just tops and new bras." I said and he nodded.

"Want to get your hair done while we're here?" Papa asked and I squealed.

"Yes!" I said and they laughed. I haven't had my hair done in forever. After we finished eating I dragged them to a salon and made them sit down while I went to the counter.

"Hi. Welcome to Sky's Cuts. How may I help you today?" The woman asked with a smile.

"Hi. Thank you. I need a cut and style and highlights please." I said and she looked in the appointment book and back up at me.

"I have a free spot now actually if you want it." She said and I smiled and nodded.

"Yes, I have time." I answered and she asked for my name and had me sit in the chair at a sink so she could wash my hair.

Three hours later I am done, my hair is cut, highlighted and styled.

I went to see daddy and papa to show them and to leave. They were sitting down in the same spot and were holding hands and daddy's head was on papa's shoulder with his eyes closed and papa was rubbing daddy's arm gently. After all these years they are still so affectionate and cuddly with one another.

"So what do you think?" I asked and they looked up at me and smiled.

"You look wonderful." They said and stood up.

"Thank you. I love it!" I said and they smiled and papa paid before we left to go to JC Penny, Macy's, Hollister where I found the most amazing hoodie and it was so soft. It was baby blue and had white on the bottom going around the back and I even found one for Garrett. We went to American Eagle as well and I ended up buying jeans and shorts as well as tops at all the places because well I wanted to match.

Once we were all done we left and I had at least twenty bags total of clothes but daddy said to get what I wanted because I deserved it and he wanted me to be comfortable in my own skin with a new wardrobe so who am I to say no?

When we get to the packhouse, Garrett, Corey, Kelly and uncle Caleb are waiting for us. I jump out of the truck as soon as it's stopped and jump in Garrett's arms and inhaling his scent of spearmint and chocolate, smells so good.

"Oh I missed you baby doll." He said softly as he held me in his arms.

"I missed you too sweetheart." I said and he held on tighter and he moaned softly in my ear when he felt the changes to my body and I smiled.

"Let me look at you." He said and put me down and he looked me up and down and licked his lips and whistled. Corey and Kelly also were looking at me and were smiling.

"You look hot!" Kelly said and I laughed.

"Thanks! I feel wonderful." I said and they hugged me. I saw Mikael out of the corner of my eyes looking at me like Garrett did and it made me uncomfortable so I turned my back to him and I saw daddy and papa had already gone into the house with my bags.

"Well let's go inside, I want to relax and maybe later you and I can go out?" I asked Garrett but he seemed distracted.

"I can't. I have plans with Mikael tonight." He said and I stopped and looked up at him.

"You knew I was coming home today so you didn't think to keep your plans open for us to do something? Break your plans with him Garrett." I said and he sighed.

"He's my mate, also Amilia. And he's yours. We can't not spend time with him."

"Do you have any idea what he did to me? He tried to cut me, he tried to fucking kill me and you want me to give him a chance, to spend time with him?! NO! I want him out of my life and if me rejecting him and you so you can be with him so be it but I will not be with him after he cut me and tried to kill me!" I yelled and felt my body heating up and knew Fierce was going to take over so I closed my eyes and let her. I felt my bones break and bend to the shape of my bird and once I was Fierce, we took off and the whole pack was outside and had witnessed me shifting into my mythical bird and I screeched as I flew above the trees and into the clouds.

We flew for hours in the sky and I noticed we were above New Moon so I landed in their woods and shifted. I had no clothes but whatever, grandpa Julian will give me some so I made my way to their house because I know they will welcome me, they always do. I walked until I saw the border patrol and stopped so they didn't have to chase after me.

"Amilia?!" Grandpa Zander said after he shifted and put on his shorts that were tied to his ankle.

"Hi grandpa." I said and next thing I know I'm in his arms and he picked me up and held my front to his chest.

"Don't need anyone seeing my granddaughter naked." He growled out and I chuckled.

"I love you grandpa." I said and he blushed and looked down at me and kissed my forehead.

"I love you too sweetie. What are you doing here though? Not that I'm not happy to see you."

"I'll tell you once we get inside. It's a long story." I said and he gave me a puzzled look but nodded nonetheless.

He takes me inside his house and as soon as he walks in, I'm handed a t-shirt and shorts so I got put down and put the clothes on and as soon as I had the shirt on, grandpa Julian hugged me. I hugged grandpa Zeke, Ian, Kaiden and Seth before we sat at the dining room table that had food on it.

"You should eat. I called your dad when Zander told me you were here and he told me you left hours ago so eat and tell us why you left." Grandpa Julian said so I started eating the pasta meal. I didn't feel like talking just yet, the food was too good to let it get cold so once I was done I pushed my plate back and sat back after I drank some sweet tea.

I looked at them and explained everything, I told them of the kids at school, all the bullying, the torture I get put through to when Mikael tried to kill me and him rejecting me but I didn't have time to accept or reject him back so we are still mates. Also told them the whole pack saw Fierce when they took over after I yelled at Garrett about Mikael. By the time I was done, I was crying and my chest was hurting like hell.

"Oh baby." Grandpa Kaiden came and took me into his arms and sat me on his lap and rubbed my back as I buried my face in his neck as I cried.

"I don't know what to do. I love Garrett so much and Mikael tried to kill me. How do I even start to come to terms that he is my mate? Garrett is the only one who has ever been nice, been there for me and he loves me and Mikael is a monster. I have no idea what to do." I sobbed and grandpa Kaiden just held me and comforted me as I cried even more.

"Want me to take him to Hell and torture him for all he has done to you?" He asked, making me laugh and I looked up at him and he was smiling at me.

"As much as I want you to do that, I would feel everything."

"No you won't. You can get knocked out like Jake did with Brian when he tortured and beat Kevin. He didn't feel it so it can be done." Grandpa Zander said now that sounds like a good idea but I'm not that kind of person, I can't do that no matter how much I have been hurt.

"Maybe you can just beat him up?" I asked instead and they all nodded and I smiled.

"Can I stay here tonight? I don't want to go home yet." I asked.

"Of course. You can stay in Gracie's old room." Grandpa Zeke said and grandpa Kaiden stood up with me still in his arms and carried me up the stairs to Gracie's room.

"Feel free to shower if you want and if you get hungry later, you know where the kitchen is. Is there anything we can do for you though?" Grandpa Ian asked and I shook my head.

"No, I think I'm just going to get some sleep, I'm exhausted." I said and they kissed me before leaving the room.

"No matter what you decide Amilia, just know you have all of us in your corner but don't do something you will regret in the future." Grandpa Julian said before he kissed me and left the room.

I sighed and turned the TV on just to distract my mind and try to ignore the pain I feel in my heart and chest as tears filled my eyes. Why did you make me and that monster mates? What could you possibly have been thinking when you made me mates with him moon Goddess? What did I do in my life to deserve him as a mate? You may have paired us but that doesn't mean I need to accept it.
