Mikael POV

"Are we done yet?" I groaned when I landed on my back for the ten thousandth time this week. Training with the warriors has sucked ass. Alpha Ethan has even been going against me and no one wants to face off with him, ever. I know he comes from a long line of powerful Alpha's so when someone comes face to face with him, they know to back away unless their stupid.

"No, you are far from done. You need to put what they have been teaching you to good use or you will end up dead if we get attacked. This isn't just for punishment, you need to learn how to properly defend yourself Mikael. It hasn't been about the punishment since the second day." Alpha Ethan said walking over to us and everyone bowed their heads slightly and looked past his shoulder, never looking him in the eyes.

"Understood sir. I'll try harder." I said and he nodded. He looked behind him and smiled when he saw Amilia, Corey and Kelly walking out of the house. Them three are always together and are so close in age. Corey is a cute little thing, Kelly is beautiful and Amilia, well she is plain looking.

"School vacation has started as you are aware so your training won't be all day long but I do expect you to be here around noon every day for a couple of hours. Just because you won't need to be here in the morning or afternoon doesn't mean training has stopped. We always train, morning noon and night around here as you have seen. Now if you will excuse me, I am going to go see my kids." Alpha Ethan said and we all bowed our heads and he walked off.

I watched as Garrett and Amilia hugged and kissed for a few minutes and it made me angry for some reason. He shouldn't be just touching her, they should be with me. I have always liked him and if I'm being honest, her as well but now I'm so confused. Garrett is handsome and even though he was going feral, he wasn't always like that.

I along with everyone else our age grew up together ever since Andrew took me in and we all know one another, some very well and some just in passing but we all hung out at one point until we got older, grew into ourselves and some drifted to other crowds but it isn't divided.

Everyone hangs out, mostly because their mates and mates stick together.

"Did you hear Garrett is mated to the freak?" One of the young warriors, Malcolm said in disgust looking at Amilia and Garrett talking to Corey, Kelly, Alpha Ethan, Beta Kody and Caleb.

"I feel bad for him, having the freak for a mate is social suicide, even for us weres. Can you even imagine how confused Garrett is going to be when they fuck? She is not normal so where will his dick go?" Another pack member, a female Megan said. We all chuckled but the thought of him and her fucking really pissed me off.

"Not our problem. Come on let's get back to this shit." I said and they nodded and we got back to training.

"Good job today guys! Tomorrow we are going to do one on one training. We will put what you learned to good use so I hope you all were paying close attention to everything we have been showing you these past few days." The head warrior, Greg said to us.

Garrett walked over and looked at each one of us and he had a stone cold look on his face, worse than Greg. I heard he's training to become a head warrior along with Greg and Gage. Ironically the three names start with a G.

"Tomorrow five am be here for training, it's going to be a hot day tomorrow so I want to start early and end around noon. Make sure you dress in light clothing and breathable shoes. I don't want anyone getting a heatstroke." Garrett said and we all nodded.

"Alright, that's it for today. See you all tomorrow morning." Greg said and everyone gathered their stuff to leave. Garrett was watching me closely and I shivered when his eyes flashed from his hazel eyes to a dark yellow and back to hazel. His eyes are beautiful.

"A word Mikael." Garrett said and the way he said my name made me feel weak inside. I nodded and followed him to a table under a tree.

"Sit." He ordered so I sat down and he crossed his arms over his broad chest and his biceps bulged and God was he hot as hell.

"Want to tell me why you attacked my mate?" He asked lowly in my ear when he bent over behind me and his hot breath fanned my ear and I had to hold in my moan.

"Want to tell me why you attacked your mate?" I shot back and he growled and grabbed the back of my neck and his claws dug into my skin but that's not what is worrying me. The sparks that I felt as soon as his skin touched mine had me hard and weak in the knees.

"Fuck no." He growled out and let me go. I felt cold and empty from the lack of his touch.

"We...we're...mates..." He stuttered out and slowly backed up and his eyes flashed back and forth from him to his wolf as he kept shaking his head and Amilia ran over and gave me a deadly death glare before she looked at Garrett.

"Garrett, what's wrong? Are you ok?" She asked when he calmed down some.

"This bastard is my mate." He growled out and I flinched at the look of hated in his eyes as he glared at me.

"Fierce told me we had another mate, they didn't say you did." Amilia said looking up at Garrett but what I want to know who is Fierce?

"Well it seems he's it for us. What are you going to do baby doll?"

"Us? You think he is also my mate?" She seemed disgusted by that thought and I have no idea why but that hurts.

"Touch him, see if you are." Garrett said and Amilia shook her head.

"Hell no. If this piece of shit is my mate than I want nothing to do with him, not after years of bullying, torture and hell he along with everyone else has put me through." She spat out and walked away from us and I felt my heart constrict in pain watching her walk away.

"I think it's best you leave right now Mikael. It isn't safe for you to be here with her emotions being so high at the moment. I really don't want her to level the whole pack to the ground." Garrett said and I looked at him like he was crazy.

"She's human. She can't do anything, she's a pathetic human at that and I don't want to be her mate." I said and felt sharp pains in my heart but I ignored it. I won't be mates to that freak, hell no. I got up from the table and turned to face Garrett and it looked like he was trying to control his wolf.

"She is not pathetic, she has a heart of gold and deserves the world for the life she had to endure with all of you. One day you all will see who she truly is and bow down at her feet and beg her to have mercy on you all. You may be my mate Mikael but I promise you, I don't have to accept you and right now I sure as hell don't so get out of here." He was talking but I didn't hear much with how much pain I feel from both their words. I took a shaky step and made my way home with my head down and my heart hurting so much.

I opened the front door and collapsed in the doorway and I heard voices and next thing I know Andrew is picking me up.

"It's ok Mikael, a good night's sleep will give you your strength back. Training must have been hard today." He said as he walked up the stairs.

"It isn't the training. Apparently Amilia and Garrett are my mates and neither want anything to do with me." I groaned when I felt another sharp pain shoot through my body this time.

"Oh no. Did they reject you?" He asked as he laid me on my bed.

"Not officially but didn't accept it either. I can't blame them though, after everything I've done I deserve it." I sighed and he covered me up and sat beside me on the bed and took my hand.

"Listen no one deserves a rejection. No matter what you did, you need to find a way to fix it. You are almost an adult so it's time to start acting like one and not a boy anymore. Whatever you did to her can't be erased and it won't be forgiven any time soon but you can start making your relationship better with her. Stop with the negative thoughts first, that isn't healthy. Second, stop bullying her if you still are. Third, do something she won't expect you to do like stick up for her against people bad mouthing her or hurting her. I have seen how your crowd of friends treat her and talk about her along with you so if you don't join in and stick up for her, she will see that. Put a stop to it with everyone Mikael. Show her you care." He said and I knew to listen, he has never been one to just bullshit someone.

"I'll try. It's not going to be easy. She hates me."

"Yes, she does but your mates so it'll work out eventually." He sounded so sure that I couldn't help but believe him.

"Tomorrow, I'm so tired I just want to sleep." I yawned and he kissed my forehead.

"I love you Mikael."

"I love you too Andrew." I said and felt my eyes getting heavy and passed out.

The next thing I know I hear my alarm going off and groan as I reach out and slam my hand on it to shut the annoying beeping noise up. I stretch and get out of bed to go shower quickly before getting dressed in basketball shorts and a tank top. Throwing my socks and sneakers on I rush down the stairs and grab an apple and a water, run out the door and to the training grounds.

When I got there, Garrett was shirtless and stretching and with the sun peeking in the sky, he looked absolutely gorgeous and drool worthy. His body is so toned and tight that I wanted to lick every inch of his beautiful body. His arms are huge, his chest is hairless and broad and his shoulders are even toned. I felt my dick getting hard and had to look away from him and shake my head to rid the dirty thoughts and how he looks.

"Good morning Mikael." The way he says my name has me weak and I don't know how I'm going to get through today if he is training with us.

"Good morning Garrett." I said and I slowly took my tank top off and saw him checking me out from the corner of my eye and smiled when he licked his lips.

A few minutes later other's started showing up and the sun was a little brighter and the humidity was already high so I can see why we were told to be here earlier than our usual six thirty.

"Ok pair up!" Greg ordered after a few rounds of doing different stretches.

One on one training is a lot harder than they make it look but they have also been doing this since they were younger. I have fallen on my ass I don't know how many times and I felt like giving up but Alpha Ethan's words kept replying in my head so I kept going. I can't be the weak human when in a fight, even if I get the chance to join in. They have the humans go to the safe room in the packhouse along with the young, women who aren't warriors or trained, pregnant wolves and the elders. Alpha Ethan has led the warriors to a lot of fights and has come back with no deaths on our side so whatever he is doing, it works.

"Garrett?" I heard Amilia and we all looked over at her and I looked at Garrett and he was smiling softly at her.

"Hey baby doll, are you off to the hospital?" Garrett asked and she nodded.

"Yea, you'll be by later after training right? I'm kinda nervous and scared about this."

"I know but you'll be ok doll, I will be there when you wake up. I also will be linked before you go in so don't worry, you'll be fine. I love you." He cupped her cheek and kissed her.

"Ah yea I think I'm good now. I love you too see you in a bit Gar." She said and he smiled and kissed her again.

"Relax. It'll be over before you know it." Garrett whispered softly as he hugged her close to his body. She smiled and looked up at him.

"Ok I gotta go before I'm late. I love you."

"I love you." They kissed again and she walked away without even giving me a glance.

"Why is she going to the hospital? Is she ok?" I asked worried.

"What the hell do you care? Get back to training." Garrett said so I sighed and focused on not getting my ass kicked for the next few hours before training was over.

"I gotta go Greg. See ya later." Garrett grabbed his shirt and ran to the packhouse.

"Ok you all are dismissed. Same time in two days, you can take a break tomorrow." Greg said and everyone sighed in relief. Greg chuckled and we all went to get some water.

"You are doing well Mikael. A few more weeks of this intense training and you will be almost as good as the newly shifted wolves who train. Don't take that as a jag, I'm only saying it like that because you are human and it's a lot of work to get as good as you are now. They have to train a lot longer to get to this point and you have only been doing it for almost a week. I can see your determination to do well and it's paying off. Keep up the good work." Greg said to me and I smiled and felt relieved I was doing so good. I didn't think I was.

"Thank you, that makes me feel like I'm doing good. I had no idea you felt that way so thank you." I said and he patted my back.

"No problem. I gotta go, my mate just linked me and told me she is ready to go get lunch." He smiled fondly at the thought of his mate.

"Have a good lunch and see ya later." I said and he nodded and walked away. I looked at the packhouse and noticed the Alpha family all getting into vehicles and I wonder why Amilia went to the hospital. They didn't say pack hospital either so she's in the city.

Whatever it is, I hope she is ok because she looked healthy when she left but who knows. I will do as Andrew told me and start to make things better and start to repair our relationship because at one point in our lives, we were close and I will do anything to get back how we used to be.
