So I haven't posted anything here in forever and I have a reason for it.

I just lost interest in the story? Thats really it. I lost interest in the Fandom due to the rabid toxicity I saw and experienced. I got hate on this story for descriptions that don't hold up to the current time we live in (started this is 2016 or 17 I think I cant remember), and the story got derailed off from the original so sooooo badly I just couldn't really bring myself to keep going with it.

I pandered to the audience too much during this story and I just got really really bored and tired of the lack of creative freedom I had with it because the more I added stuff into the story the less I got to write what I enjoyed. Now, I am not blaming anyone but myself for this because I'm a people pleaser so it is my own fault for doing what I did lol.

With that said, I'm not continuing this story anymore but I decided to go ahead and post the original ending I had planned versus the edited one that I had to switch to due to the wild changes.

Original:  in my original plan I had the ending of the story at a funeral. Not any funeral but Pidge's funeral. I wanted to make him a victim of the 2016 Orlando shooting that happened and it was a tragedy I wanted to write about because I think that it touched many of my reader's hearts when it happened. I was upset for many days after it happened and in a way it would be a tiny tribute to the victims in an attempt to raise awareness about gun laws and violence against the LGBT community.

Alura and Shiro would have had three kids, triplets. Their names would have been Haru, Ann, and Samara. Allura would have gone on to be a spokesperson against sexual violence and raise awareness that it can happen to anyone. Shiro wouldve recovered from his past for the most part and become social worker.

Lance and Keith would have adopted a boy and girl. The girl would have been named Lana and the boy would've been Will. Lance would have a job as a science teacher and Keith would be openly gay to the public and only works in TV roles where the show has representation of all kinds.

Hunk and shay were married and expecting. Shay owned her own cafe and Hunk got to be a chef.

The ending would have been a letter to pidge that Lance wrote and left in his coffin at the wake talking about how all of them will hold him dear to their hearts and how they would all do their part to make sure his family's suffering would be easier.

Edited version: mostly the same except for shiro and allura.

Shiro and Matt would be dating and shiro would have instead gone on to be a foster parent for abused children while Matt became a detective.

Allura's job remains the same but she adopts a little girl who had been harmed by her father at the age of four. Her name would be Cindy.  Together they would have been happy and allura would've taught her that not everyone in the world was as bad as Cindy's father.

Thats the two endings I had planned. I have an incomplete shut chapter for Lance and Keith with possibly one of my favorite introductions in any story of mine tbh. I will keep this story up for people to revisit and in case I ever come around to rewriting it but as of now until further notice this is the ending of beautiful disasters.

It deals with some of the same things that I've touched up on in this story but it is a coming of age story for 6 characters. One has depression,  one deals with his sexuality,  one struggles with the expectations of others versus his own, there's issues with self esteem and hormones, jealousy and abusive familial relationships,  and health issues. It's a lot but im hoping to make it something I'm proud of.

My only other kalnce fic is Treasure. It is a detective AU so feel free to check it out but it is super old and not really that great lol.
