Forks

Kathleen Swan was basically considered the complete opposite of her twin sister Bella. Kathleen was outgoing, sarcastic, and she couldn't care less about what others thought of her.

"Honestly, I love you guys but I can't wait to move." Kathleen Swan told her mother and stepfather, Phil, as she put her suitcase in the trunk. "I'm gonna miss the sun." Bella Kathleen's twin stated looking up at the sun. "Me too" Kat said agreeing with her sister, "Okay you know I love you guys both but if we don't leave now you'll miss your flight." Phil told the girls "I call shot gun" Kathleen said and got to the passenger seat first "that's not fair." Bella huffed and Kathleen shrugged with a smug smile. "Life's not fair" she said.....Kathleen didn't think Forks was a bad place in fact she liked it. Despite it being a small town and the population being 3,120 people she still liked it there it was quiet, rainy most of the time, she didn't mind the rain much but when it was to cold and rainy she did.

The twins looked for their dad at the airport and found him. "There are my girls. Hey Kat, hey Bells" Charlie said walking over to them "hey dad." Kathleen said and smiled at him they hugged each other then he hugged Bella

"Lets get you girls home so you can get settled in. You have school tomorrow." Charlie said taking a bag from each of the girls before turning to walk out of the building. "Is this the only car you have?" Kathleen asked Charlie. "If you have a problem with it you can walk home." Charlie said

"I would but then who would provide the stimulating conversation?" Kathleen sassed and looked at her sister "I still get shot gun" she said and was already at the passenger side
"You have not changed a bit" Charlie told Kathleen as she smiled proudly.

"And I was wondering in case I need to make a trip somewhere." Kathleen paused to think "not that I plan on going anywhere. Unless it's to get food. Actually you know what sounds good? Subway, is there Subway here?" Kathleen asked "There's no subway here." Charlie said.

"What?! your the chief of police can't you do something about that?" Kathleen asked dramatically "Oh my god Kat" Bella muttered from the back seat. "Oh yeah, let me just get the President on the phone real quick" Charlie.said sarcastically "I'm gonna die!" She said dramatically

"you'll live" Charlie said "you're hair is longer." Charlie said, looking in the rearview mirror at Bella. "I cut it since the last time I saw you." Bella said. "Oh" Charlie paused not knowing what to say "I guess it grew out again." He said Kathleen stared out the window as Charlie drove through the town

"I can literally feel the awkwardness between you two, Is this where we get our awkwardness from?" Kathleen turned to Charlie "How do you manage to find a way to talk about literally everything?" Bella asked curiously. "How do you manage to make almost every situation awkward?" Kathleen shot back with the same level of curiosity. "This is going to be so much fun." Charlie said in a sarcastic tone and sighed at the twins.

"I've cleared some shelves off in the bathroom." Charlie said as they walked into the house and up the stairs. "Oh, right. One bathroom." Bella said as she walked into her room across from Kathleen's . "Because that isn't gonna be a pain in the ass in the mornings" Kathleen mumbled as she walked into her room.

After Kathleen got done looking around in her old room she heard a car pull up, she went outside to see who it was. Following behind her was Bella also curious to see who was there as well. "Girls you remember Billy Black." Charlie said leaning against an old red truck that was in the driveway, next to him was a Native American man in a wheelchair, about the same age as Charlie.

Behind him was a teenage boy that was obviously Billy's son, Jacob smiling brightly at the two twins. "Yeah." Bella nodded, shaking Billy's hand "your looking good." Bella said and smiled at Billy. "Well I'm still dancing, I'm glad you two are finally here" Billy smiled before looking up at Charlie

"Charlie here hasn't shut up about it since you told him you were coming." Billy said Charlie rolled his eyes Kathleen and Jacob laughed. "Alright, keep exaggerating, I'll roll you into the mud. " he grumbled, walking away from Billy

"After I ran you in the ankles" Billy said turning his wheelchair to go after Charlie. Kathleen smiled as she watched her dad and Billy play like children in the road, glad to know that he wasn't completely alone.

"Hi I'm Jacob." Jacob said walking over to the twins. "Hey." Bella said and smiled at Jacob, once again Kathleen could sense the awkwardness between the two teenagers. "We used to make mud pies when we were little." Jacob said seeing if the two girls remembered him. "Right no we remember." Bella says then glanced at the their father and Billy. "are they always like this?" Bella asked

"Its getting worse with old age." Jacob said "you just now found this out?" Kathleen sarcastically said and Jacob chuckled. Charlie turned to the twins, "so what do you think?" He asked "of? dad if you want our opinion on something your gonna have to be a little more specific" Kathleen said once again being sarcastic.

"Your homecoming present." Charlie said and tapped the red truck "this?" Kathleen and Bella asked at the same time "just bought it off Billy here. I didn't exactly have time to look for two cars so I figured you two could share it." Charlie said "I'm totally fine with sharing!" Kathleen smiled going to hug her father.

"Your the best dad ever." She said "tell me something I don't know" Charlie stated hugging his daughter back. Kathleen let's go of her dad and stands next to her sister "I totally rebuilt the engine for you." Jacob said, smiling at the twins.
"This is perfect." Kathleen and Bella said. Bella started to get in but not without hitting Jacob with the door.

"Sorry." She apologized. "Oh for the love of God." Kathleen cringed at her sister's actions. Once Bella closed the door Kathleen leans against their truck listening for anything she needed to know about it. "You gotta double-pump the clutch when you shift but besides that you should be good." Jacob said.

"Do you wanna ride to school or something?" Bella asked Jacob "I go school on the reservation." Jacob said " Right, right. " Bella nodded "that's too bad. It would've been nice to know one person." Bella said and Kathleen raised her hands "what so I don't exist anymore?" She said "other than my twin" Bella corrected herself.
