I Need You
George Imagine:
You stormed down the sidewalk to the direction of your home, a strange feeling of rage biting at your insides. You tried your best to ignore the familiar voice of your boyfriend calling behind you in sheer desperation. You were more than a little relieved when you finally reached your front door.
"Y/N please! Just hear me out!" your boyfriend pleaded behind you.
You whirled around to glare at him, your eyes flaring angrily like a hungry fire eating away at wood. "You could've done something about it, George!" you yelled.
"I couldn't!" George shot back. "Y/N, I'm new in the band. I can't give off a bad impression. Especially to John."
"You just let him touch me!" you shrieked. "And you didn't do anything about it! Does that sound normal to you? Don't you even care?"
"Of course I bloody care!" he said, bewildered.
"It didn't seem like it back there!" you huffed with your hands on your hips. "And that's not even the worst of it! Why the hell was Pattie there?"
"What makes you think I know!"
"She was flirting with you, and you just let her! Like it didn't matter I was standing right next to you!"
Long story short, the leader of the band that George had spoken of, John, had gotten slightly touchy with you. He had winked at you, sweet-talked you, and even touched your thigh. Of course it was playful, but you had just met the guy! What gave him the right to do that?
And of course, to make matters worse, Pattie Boyd, George's ex-girlfriend, had arrived as they were taking a walk. She had batted her long eyelashes at him and twirled her beautiful blonde hair, in an obvious attempt to seduce him back into a relationship.
The worst of it all? George did nothing about it. Nothing about Pattie nor about John. And that was why you were angry with him.
"George, I really don't want to see you right now," you said irritably. "Why don't you call me when sense hits your thick head?"
Not allowing him to say anything else, you opened the door to your home, swiftly entered, then slammed it shut right in his face.
"Y/N?" your mother called from the kitchen, her head poking out the kitchen door when she heard the front door slam. "Are you ok, dear?"
"Fine, Mum," you replied through a long sigh. "Just been a long day today, that's all."
What a day it had been.
***
It was around midnight, and you were still awake. You tried to read your favourite story, hoping it would tire you out somehow. Of course, it didn't. You couldn't stop thinking about George.
You were still angry with him. Just thinking about what had happened that day made you ball your hands up into fists. Yet at the same time... you really did miss him.
He was overall a true gentleman. That you couldn't deny. He treated you like a princess over the six months you two had spent together as a couple. You had done so much together. And he was always protective of you.
So why was today so different?
So maybe he wanted to give off a good impression to John. That was understandable. And you felt honoured that he wanted to introduce you to the lads. But was it so hard to tell John to lay off you? If John was a true friend to George, he would understand and leave you alone.
And Pattie? You hated even hearing her name. It didn't help any that she was gorgeous. And the fact that John and the rest of the band were there to see it happen as well. You were utterly embarrassed.
But still... you missed George. A lot.
"You don't realize how much I need you."
Your head snapped up from behind your book. A voice - a wonderful, rich voice - was singing beautifully right outside your bedroom window.
"Love you all the time and never leave you."
You scrambled around on your bed and opened your window. You peered outside to see George standing beneath you with an acoustic guitar in hand. He was strumming gently yet passionately at the instrument whilst singing in his lovely voice. He was staring up at you while doing so.
"Please come on back to me," he sang softly. "I'm lonely as can be. I need you."
He stopped singing yet continued to pluck at the strings of his guitar. He gazed pleadingly into your eyes, his dark and mysterious ones gleaming with what can only be described as hope.
"I really do need you, Y/N," he said quietly. You didn't say anything. "I know I should've done something. I just didn't want to disappoint John. It was stupid. And I promise that me and Pattie have nothing going on between us. I'm sorry."
You licked your lips nervously. "It's ok," you said. He perked up. "I'm sorry I overreacted."
"You didn't," George cut you off. "You had every right to be mad at me."
"Can't you just climb up here and kiss me already?" you giggled. "I missed you, for God's sake."
With a goofy smile, George climbed through your window with you helping him inside. It wasn't too hard; your bedroom was only a few feet above the ground outside.
Once George was inside, he snaked his arms around your waist and pulled you close to his chest. He planted his warm lips against yours, kissing you compassionately and with dominance. You melted under his touch and smiled against his lips.
When he pulled away, you said, "Not that I didn't enjoy that, but I think you forgot something outside."
"Huh?" he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.
He glanced outside and took a look around. Then, he slapped his forehead and laughed.
"Well that's just great," he chortled.
His guitar lay innocently on the grass outside. And it was already covered in dirt.
"The worst part is, that's Paul's guitar," he snorted.
"You're an idiot," you chuckled. "But that's why I love you."
"I love you too."
Well that was longer than I intended it to be XD! Alright, alright, I'll leave the requesting up to you now ;)
