This is an essay, but I'm real proud of it so I'm posting it here lol

    The greatest leader in my life is the model Rain Dove. They’re known best for being genderfluid and very open about it. They mostly take modeling jobs from companies who are accepting of that and don’t do anything harmful to animals or people. While this gets them less money, they do it for their morals. On the social media app, Instagram, they often defend their identity from bigoted people who don’t agree with who they are, with their most commonly-used phrase being, “I am I.” This is used when they’re asked, “Are you a girl or a boy?” They also never assume the gender identity of anyone else, often using they/them pronouns for everyone unless they’re told otherwise.

    Often in Rain’s modeling jobs, they have photoshoots where they show off clothing that’s for women, and then clothing that’s for men. They manage to always rock the clothing either way, and with their short hair and masculine face, always seem to pull both ways off perfectly. In their free time, they also participate in projects surrounding gender identity, which you could probably find online. On Instagram, you’ll often find them asking if anyone needs any help with things, like tending to their gardens or making dinner, or even asking if someone has a play/video that needs someone to fill in a part. They’re very kind and generous, and help people out all the time.

    They’ve impacted me heavily, as I want to be like them when I’m older. As I also am someone who is outside of the gender binary, I’d like to be able to have their confidence and level-headedness when standing up to bigots. They never seem to lose their cool, and are always polite toward them. It’s amazing how kind and sweet they are, and I aspire to be similar to them. They’ve also showed me the reality of the modeling world, and how picky the companies can be when choosing a model.

    They’re a leader toward models, and people in the nonbinary world. They show people how to stand up to others (and for others), yet still remain to be kind. They’re also very clever and smart, and clearly know their way around the world. They’re probably the biggest role model I’ve had in ages, to be honest.

    In conclusion, Rain Dove is the biggest and greatest leader in my life. They’ve inspired me so much throughout the past few years, and I really hope to be like them one day. They’re a brilliant human, as well as passionate and kind to everyone they come across. They’ve really helped me along the way of discovering who I am, as well as seeing how cruel (and sometimes welcoming) the outside world can be.
