I know, I know, nobody likes rules. But they are in place to ensure a happy and safe roleplay for everyone that is participating!
Please read through all of the rules and pay attention to them carefully.
There will be three hidden passwords in the rules, I will not let you try out for roles until you find all the passwords and post them in the comments below.

♛ 1 ♛

Do not control the actions of characters that do not belong to you. The person who has that character is perfectly capable of controlling their character on their own, they don't need you doing actions or any vocalization for them.

♛ 2 ♛

Do not write in first or second person. The only type of writing allowed is third person. That means, no writing with your character in terms of 'I, you, us, me'. If you write in first or second person I will not allow you to roleplay unless you switch to third person. The first password is your favorite supernatural creature.
This is a very important rule, please take note of it.

♛ 3 ♛

You are not allowed to make any big plans that may escalate and affect the entire roleplay. That means no prophecies, fights, or staring a new war. If you have any large drama plans, please consult me before you decide yourself to put them into play.
Know that I have the right to reject ideas if I feel they will not fit the roleplay.

♛ 4 ♛

This is a literate roleplay. What does that mean? It means that you must write long, detailed responses with proper grammar and descriptions. Nothing less than six lines, and even that is short. Preferably write more than ten lines, but it is okay to write six if you are unable to write a long reply at the time.

♛ 5 ♛

Don't spam other accounts if they do not reply immeadiantly! Spamming counts as tagging, adding extra sentences, or making corrections after a set amount of time. The second password is your favorite fruit. Please wait at least a day before tagging them again, constantly being notified can pester other roleplayers.

♛ 6 ♛

The great majority of characters will be pre-made roles, and you can have a chance at claiming them by trying out for them in the comments. Please note the rules for trying out that are located at the top of each page that has roles.

♛ 7 ♛

It is not first come first serve for claiming roles, multiple people can try out for the same role! I will not choose the person who has the longest response, but the person who best portrays the personality of that character.

♛ 8 ♛

Roleplayers are allowed to claim two roles. If you claim one female role, please claim a male as well. If you would rather claim two male roles, I will allow that instead! But nobody is allowed to have two female roles, since those get snatched pretty quickly.

♛ 9 ♛

If you stop roleplaying on this book without notice for more than five days and you are replying to others, your character will be killed off or will be auctioned off to someone else.
If you simply are not on at all, please let me know so I do not revoke your character. I want you all to keep the characters you rightfully own!
When roles are auctioned off, a completely new character will be made so that there is no using of someone else's OC.

♛ 10 ♛

Let's talk about affection concerning the roleplay!
Kissing, making out, hugging, and being lovey-dovey is all allowed and perfectly okay.
Smut must be taken to private messages. There are no exceptions to this rule. It is allowed, but only in private messages.
If someone is uncomfortable with smut, do not force them to do it in private messages.
Also, no sexual abuse or rape. It is a potential sensitive topic for some roleplayers, and will not be allowed here.

♛ 11 ♛

If you write a mean reply to me or anyone else, or if you try to order anyone around, you are banned from this roleplay book, so just be kind and courteous. You treat others with respect, you are treated with respect. Easy!

♛ 12 ♛

No gary/mary-sues, I just will not tolerate them.
Everyone has flaws.
Enough said.

♛ 13 ♛

Do not ask me to hurry up when I'm in the process of reading try-outs for roles, just be patient. I promise I will get to everyone's try-out, it'll just take me a while to get through them. The third password is a name of one of your pets. If you have none, just write 'none'.
Also, I will not let you rush me into choosing who gets the role. I will decide on my time, not yours.

♛ 14 ♛

You can't ask to reserve a spot for your desired role. You must present a try-out up front. I will give you three days to write your try-out before I delete your comment, so that way more people will be encouraged to try-out for that role.

♛ 15 ♛

Alright, let's make this realistic. These are shape-shifters, not meta-humans. Do not give your character any other powers unless they are specified in the role.

♛ 16 ♛

And lastly, this should be clear enough already! This roleplay will have mature themes, such as descriptive mentions of fighting, backstabbing, illicit relationships, death, destruction, and so on, along with lighter mentions of mental illness for some roles. If you are uncomfortable with writing about any of the above following, please consider these things before joining.
