Alastors pov

I stepped outside that dreary cave to find Lucifer hugging himself, soft sobs shook his small frame. I sighed as I strolled over to him. I took a seat and gave him a patient look that said I'm listening.

He looked up at me with tears in his eyes "I'm sorry. I just miss her. I know it's over between us but I just have so many regrets"

I nodded understandingly, not speaking as to not throw him off.

His eyes hit the ground "it's not like I want things to go back to the way it was. But I just wish I could fix things, make things right for my daughter. I want to give her the family she deserves but I don't know how-"

I cut him off by kissing his hand "you needn't go through this alone love. We're partners now. Your problems are my problems"

"Thanks al" he smiled softly as he inched closer to me "I guess I'm still getting used to being in a relationship"

"I can understand that. I never thought I'd ever love someone. I always found relationships meaningless. That is until I met you" I wrapped my arm around him.

"I love you too al" he leaned his forehead against mine. Eventually he moved away, his eyes narrowed "do you think we should tell Charlie? I'm so scared of her reaction"

I reached out and caressed his cheek "we'll tell her when your ready"

He nodded and dived into my chest. I held him close as the waves crashed against the cliffside. Seems this turned out to be entertaining after all.
