---Garroth's Pov---

We get back to the cave and the broken obsidian haunts me. I did this. This is my fault for running.... I sigh. Laurence hands me the book and i read through it.

"We need all the supplies that we did for the Lady Irene statue but instead of a wyvern soul we need a diamond block. It will only be able to be used once so as soon as we all get back we have to destroy it." I sigh as i speak.

They all nod and we head to gather materials. I gather the extra quartz we have and a voice in my head just keeps haunting me.

What if when you get there...... shes dead?!?!

I shake it off and go back the the cave, and see everyonr there.

"Garroth what if Aphmau is dead when we get in?"

Hmph i guess Laurence has the same voice. Before i answer i see Zenix wince.

"But what if shes alive Laurence?! Then we would be leaving her in a fiery hell with the devil, Zane."

I nod at Laurence who looks watery eyed and even he nods. We put everypeice down and we see a huge bright light and a hue of purple. I sigh and breathe in deeply.

"Lets go in the nether..."

---Aphmau's Pov---

I stand there crying. Not because there was a knife stabbed through my hand leaking blood everywhere. Its because losing Garroth as a knight is one of the worst feelings ever.

I need to get out!!

I try to remove the knife so i can pull myself up but because the knife goes not just all the way through the palm of my hand but deep into the ground also i didnt have the strength. I was frantically screaming for anyone other than Garroth.

"ZENIX?!!? LAURENCE?!!?! DANTE!?!? PLEASE ANYONE IT HURTS I DONT WANNA FALL OFF!!"

I cry harder knowing that I'm about to die.

"A....Aphmau?!"

I look up in between my tears to see Zenix and Laurence.

"GUYS PLEASE HELP!! IT HURTS SO BAD!!"

The cut is getting bigger as gravity is gripping my body down.

"LAURENCE ZENIX I MISSED YOU GUYS!!"

"APHMAU WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HAND?!"

I stare deep into Zenix's eyes and give him a serious look.

"G...Garroth happened."

I see them both look at me with dismay.

"Aphmau what are you talking about?!"

Laurence finally gets the knife out of my hand and i hug him making him blush.

"Thank you Laurence for coming back for me."

He smirks.

"Hey! I couldnt let you take all the credit for saving someone."

I hear someone clear their throat and i look at the kneeling Zenix whos looking at his invisible watch. I walk over and hug him, slightly wincing from my hand.

"Thank you too Zenix but i have to warn you."

Zenix then let go of me and stood up, pulling me up afterwards.

"Whats wrong Aphmau?"

They look at me worriedly before Laurence cuts me off.

"How about we talk when we leave this cursed place."

I nod and some of my pain returns making me wince. They grab my sword and hold it for me speaking that my hand hurts even now that the knife is out. We start walking to the portal and i roll up my sleeve and wipe up some of the blood and Zenix looks over. He stops in his tracks making me bump into him and i yelp.

"A...Aphmau are you ok?"

I look up into the worried eyes of my best friends.

"Y...Yeah why?"

He pulls up my sleeve all the way from my dress to see a huge slash mark from a sword.

"Aphmau! Why didnt you tell us?!"

They both spoke in unison which would normally make me laugh but instead i just got more sad.

"Guys as soon as we get out of here we have to grab Dante and...well.... i just have to talk to all 3 of you."

Their eyes of worry turned to confusion.

"But what about Gar..."

"Just Please!!"

They both nod still looking confused as we ran out of the nether. Once we got out Dante through the book in the portal and i kicked it. Once again it broke and launched me to the other side of the cave. I open my eyes to see the broken obsidian, and this tine i wasnt locked in. I smile then i see a hand.

"G...Garroth?!"

It gets super close to my neck as if..... marking a point.

I look behind him to see Laurence, Zenix, and Dante asleep. The blond menace got super close to my ear.

"Shhh...... Jess..."
THATS ZANE!!

I see a hand come down at me in a karate motion......
Straight towards a pressure point.

---Garroth's Pov--

I see everyone jump out of the portal and a huge explosion goes off which im guessing was them breaking the portal. I open my eyes and see that Zane was slowly walking towards Aphmau, smirking. He bends down and i slowly crawl over, sword in hand. I see him check where her pressure point is as if hes trying to make her pass out. I get over to her and i see him whisper something as i see Aphmau's eyes shut with all her might as if shes gettig prepared for whats about to happen. I slice my sword at Zane but instead he just disappears into thin air. I scowl then look at Aphmau who stares at me. I look into her hazel eyes, and see something i haven't seen before.

Fear

Sure she has been scared before but nothing beats this. If looks could kill, this would be that look. It also had a glint of nervousness that ive never seen before, but what was hitting me most was the sorrow. Behind the mask of fear, i could see sorrow. She shakes her head as if snapping back into reality and Zenix pulls her up. She hugs everyone and mutters a thanks to me and goes on her way. I stare at the 4 of them as they leave me behind. I slowly walk out of the cave and i think.

---Aphmau's Pov---

Gah! What have i done!!

I grit my teeth, not disgusted by anyone or even..... Garroth, Im disgusted by myself.

My guards arent going to be here forever, and speaking that they are my best friends i cant just be asking for them to put their lives on the line for me. Yes, i may be a lord but i seriously just cant keep saying 'Oh Help Im Stuck In A Life Or Death Situation. So Please Risk Your Freaking Lives For Me.' I love all of my best friends but i need to take care of myself.

I sigh, making Laurence look over questionably. We get to the docks and see a huge boat, and we get on it.

"We may go after Garroth gets here."

I nod silently, suddenly focused on the floor of the boat.

I cant be focused on just me, the whole purpose of a Lord is to protect others. Im not going to be one of THOSE Lords. I promise ill protect everyone even if it means i di....

"Aph?"

I jump and they laugh.

"Y..Yes?"

"Garroth is here."

I see him jump into the boat and i sit down.

"L..Lady Aphmau are you mad at me?"

I look up to see Garroth looking into my eyes.

"Uhh... i..its hard to e...explain."

He sits down next to me.

"Why dont you tell me? Im your knight."
I sigh knowing im not going to win.

"D...Did you get locked in the nether with me?"

He stares at me and shakes his head.

"I was out here with these guys trying to find a way out for you."

My vision was getting blurry from the crystallized tears that were threatening to come out.

"S...so you didnt a..attempt to k..kill me?!"

He looks at me in awe that i ever came to that conclusion, and i look down again.

"Of course not!! I would never do that to you!!"

The threatening tears fell down my face as i think about everything. Before my brain could even process anything i hug him. Once i processed what i was doing i blushed and let go. I look up to see his helmet on but im still guessing that he was blushing too.
"I..im sorry its j..just that he said you were the Son of the Lord of O'Kasis. Then he like t..turned into you and.... then he t..t...tried to kill me. H..he said it was you the whole time and that you became a shadow knight and you guys are just the only family i have left. I just dont wanna lose you guys..."

I was interupted by getting a hug from everyone as i cry harder. It was silent except for my cries for a while until Garroth spoke up.

"Lady Aphmau.... we will never leave you."

"Yeah Aph! Sense when have you known your best friends to give up so easily?!"

I smile. Best Friends.

"Guys there is Pheonix Drop!"

They let go of me and i stand up looking at the village.

"G..Guys can we talk in my house after this?"

They all nod looking confused.

I see Laurence starting to look worried.

"Guys what if everyone hates me because of Zane?"

I grit my teeth from just hearing that name.

"They wont, trust me. As soon as we get there we will head into my house, then ill host a meeting explaining everything. They will believe me."

He smiles at me innocently, and i smile back.

"Thanks Aph..."

We walk onto the dock of the village and i walk towards the village. I reach the back of my neck and realize there is a huge slice back there too.

"Ow. I forgot about this."

I see everyone look behind them at me while i hold my neck.

"Whats Wrong?"

"Apparently Zane got my neck too."

Garroth and Zenix walk to my sides and i sigh.

"Thanks."

Zenix grins and Garroth nods. We get to my house and i head to the bathroom to grab the gauze.

"So Aphmau why did you call us here."

I sigh.

Dante knows not to call me Lady Aphmau or Lord Aphmau but yet he still calls me Aphmau.

"When i was in the nether, i h..had a memory come back to me."

I walk back into the main room to see Garroth had his helm off and they were all looking surprised.

"Wh...Which one."

I gulp, knowing that tears were forming at the corner of my eyes.

"It was the one where i well i supposedly died."

I started crying.

"I...im sorry Zenix....."

He looks at me confused and he walks closer putting his hands on my shoulders as i look down.

"Aphmau. Dont you dare blame yourself. That was not you. That was a shadow knight, dont you ever think that was your fault."

I smile and look up.

"Thank you Zenix. Thanks everyone."

We go in a big group hug until we heard the words we never EVER wanted to hear.

"GUYS COME QUICK!!! O'KASIS IS INVADING!!!"
