"Is he here?"

Jack looked around at the swarm of students who were entering the school.

"No Alex.."

Alex frowned.His sea green eyes scanned the crowd again,girls standing by the side and twirling their hair,looking at him dreamily.

"There.. He's coming.."

Alex turned and saw him coming with another guy who looked like a freak."Who's the other guy?" "Matt..Some jerk who's been hanging out with him"Jack said shrugging,his grey eyes following the guys as they walked in.

Jack walked towards them.Matt tensed as he saw him approaching and also noticed Alex."Hey Matt"Jack said and put an arm around Jeremy,smiling at both of them."Um..Who are you?"Jeremy asked Jack cluelessly.

"It's Jack..A close friend of Alex.."Matt whispered in his ear and managed to smile at Jack"Hey!Nice black jacket!"

"It's dark brown"

Matt wanted to bang his head against the wall.

"Oh..I knew it..Was just kidding.."

Jack looked at Matt like he was an idiot and turned his eyes back to Jeremy"Well Jacob.."

Jeremy pushed Jack's arm away from his shoulder"It's Jeremy.."

"Ah yes Jeremy..Alex wants to meet you.."

"Who's he?"Jeremy asked.

"You should be lucky to know Alex wants to talk with you personally.."Jack said and looked at Matt"Didn't you tell him about us?"
Matt started sweating"Of course..I did..He..I think he's forgotten.."

Jeremy didn't remember Matt telling anything about Alex or his dumbass sidekick

Alex was getting impatient.He walked towards them and smiled brightly, sticking his hand out"Alex Hamilton,the sexy figure of this school,heart beat of the cute girls here..And Eros in disguise"

Jeremy blinked.He had never met someone as vain and proud as Alex.Jeremy took his hand"Jeremy Rosario Caraballo..The new student here who doesn't care even if you are Zeus in disguise"

Matt caught Jeremy's wrist"Mind what you are..."

Jack put his arm around Matt's neck"Let's leave them alone,shall we?"he asked and practically dragged Matt away from them.

Jeremy gulped.He could see Alex was not the good guy type.

"So Jeremy..How is your new school treating you?"Alex asked smiling and put an arm around Jeremy's neck as he walked slowly in the hallways.The crowd parted and have them way,looking at the two curiously.

All the students were obviously surprised.

The newbie was taking on the school's bully the before day and was having a friendly chat with the school's most famous and handsome guy today

Jeremy wasn't used to attention at all.And for the past two days he had been receiving so much attention that he hadn't received in his old school.

"It's..Good .Fine.."

"How are the students?"

"Very.. Friendly.."

"Ah..A except a specific girl?"Alex asked with a smirk,his voice trailing and keenly observing his expression.

"Well..Seems like you know the answer"Jeremy said,choosing his words carefully.

"Well it's sad you know..Most of the students here are really warm to the new students here..We are all against the policy of bullying and ragging new students you know..It's bad"

Jeremy stared at Alex.He didn't seem that bad.

"Yes..But some people think otherwise I guess.."Jeremy said thinking about Emily

"Ah yes Emily..."

Jeremy could feel there was something more to that.The way Alex said her name..It had something hidden..Some deep emotion he wasn't able to make out.

"She's always been the bad girl..So many times the principal has warned her..No amount of warnings or threatenings have made her mend her ways.."Alex said sighing

Jeremy nodded"I see.."He still didn't know why Alex was telling him all this.

As they were walking,Jeremy came to his locker.He gasped as he looked at his locker,the door all bent like someone had been banging it hard.

Alex scratched his neck "Tch Tch..Never knew Emily would do this too..."

Jeremy turned to Alex"Emily did this?!"

"Who else hates you here Jeremy?All of us are so loving..All except Miss Valentine"

Jeremy was still shocked looking at the condition of his locker

Alex stepped closer"Sometimes,we have to keep quite..But sometimes..There is nothing wrong in fighting back...

And getting your revenge.."

Jeremy stared at Alex"What..What do you mean by that?"

Alex grinned,his grip on Jeremy's shoulder tightening "I'll Explain everything Jeremy..I will tell you.."

"I made that new guy my friend..From that day nothing has been good.."

"Did you say anything?"Jack asked turning back and looking at Matt who was nervously following him

"No..Nothing"Matt said.

Matt had always been the type of person who merged with the crowd.He had never received any type of special attention.And he liked it that way.

But from the time he had become Jeremy's friend,he had been receiving more attention than what he wanted.First of all Emily,Rachel and Sabrina actually acknowledged his presence

After that fight in the cafe between Jeremy and Emily,all the students had started noticing Matt and a few even tried to be friendly with him.

Because he was Jeremy's friend..The bigger bully as they called Jeremy now.

And right now he was walking with the best friend of the School's bad boy.

Jack walked inside an old unused classroom which was near the place Alex and Jeremy were talking.

Matt stood by the door,giving Jack a dubious glance.

"What? Don't worry I won't rape you"

Matt's eyes widened and he went inside quickly,the door creaking and clicking shut behind him.

Jack sat on one of the dusty benches and leaned back,his legs on the desk.He gave Matt a sceptic glance.

Matt gulped and held his books tightly.He didn't want to get into any trouble with him.

"Mathew..Never seen you here before..."Jack said looking at him,his stormy grey eyes lazily whisking through the class

"I've..Been studying here from Grade one..We were both in the same French class in our sixth grade"Matt said remembering.

He remembered vividly how Alex and Jack were applying gum on the teacher's chair before the class started.

It became a big problem and none of them opened their mouth to tell who had done that.

"Really?I don't remember.."Jack said,his face pensive

"Yes..you asked my twin sister Margret on a date in eighth grade too..."Matt said.And Margret had been Jack's girl friend for a long time until she..

Matt refused to think about it..He didn't want to..

Jack looked surprised"Oh.. Marg..You are here brother?"

Matt nodded silently

Jack must have known.He truly loved that girl..She was one of a kind..But one day she just disappeared..And he didn't know where she had gone..It left him with a deep scar in his heart

"But..What exactly happened to her?Where did she-"

"I don't want to talk about it"

Jack was surprised by the tone of Matt's voice.It had completely changed to a stern flat one.

Jack didn't want to push"Fine.."

Matt sat down near the dusty window and looked outside,his sister's innocent face still fresh in his memory

Jeremy took a few steps back,his heart beating fast.

It was confirmed.

Alex wasn't human at all.

He was a beast.

"What happened Jeremy?"Alex asked observing his reaction

"Are..Are you mad?!You think I will do that?!I'd rather die than doing something like that..You are cheap,mean and coward..I wouldn't hesitate to punch that stupid face of yours for what you just said.."Jeremy said,his blue eyes hard.

"I didn't say anything wrong..It's just a small way of taking revenge..."

"Small?!You call that small??Go play your manipulative tricks with someone else..I'm not the one"he said and turned back to his damaged locker,opening it and keeping his books inside,snatching the other books he needed for the first hour.

Alex stepped closer and turned Jeremy towards him"It might seem like I'm wrong now..Soon you will get it.."he said,his cold sea green eyes looking into Jeremy's hard blue eyes.

Alex smiled evily and walked away,leaving Jeremy shaken.
