Jeremy heard the sound of a group of girls laughing.But the laugh of one girl sounded different,faintly pleasant.He looked up to see two girls sitting on The chairs and laughing while a few juniors were painting each other's faces.

Jeremy looked up and his gaze froze.On the table,a girl was sitting,smiling,her gaze fixed on the juniors.Her eyes were chocolate brown and she had a fair and flawless skin.She had curly brown hair which was up in a pony tail.She was lean and had perfect eyebrows and soft pink lips.She was wearing a blue shirt and jeans which fitted her so perfectly that it seemed like it was made just for her.

Jeremy had never seen a girl as beautiful as the girl who was sitting on the Cafe bench,bullying the juniors.His heart raced and he started to feel nervous.

"That girl sitting on the bench..She is Emily Valentine..or The Wicked Valentine.."Matt said and sat down in a chair far away from the group.Jeremy started walking toward  Emily but was then pulled down by Matt and was made to sit near him.Emily's eyes looked at them for a moment and then went back to the kids.

"She..She looked at me.."Jeremy whispered to Matt like an excited kid."Yeah..And you feel like you will have a good chemistry with her..?"

Jeremy nodded,his gaze fixed on her face.

"And you feel like she is the girl for you?"

Jeremy nodded.

"And you feel like she will b  your best friend and the something more than that?"

Jeremy nodded,grinning widely.

"Then you are an idiot like the others."

Jeremy's gaze faltered and he looked at Matt"What?why?"

Matt chuckled"All the new students who have been here have felt the same thing when they first saw her.Yeah she is extremely pretty without make up which I think only she can achieve but she is evil..wicked and a bully.She loves to break people's hearts and plays with their emotions.."

Jeremy found it hard to believe.

Matt sighed"I know you think I'm lying..but I am serious. Don't judge a book by its cover..the others had to learn it the hard way...I'm telling you right now..don't even try to get close to her...or even you will have to learn it the hard way..She belongs to a group of "out of league" where you can never get close to her..no matter what.."

"And the other two girls are Rachel and Sabrina..her hand maidens.."Matt said.

Jeremy got up"Well..I love learning things the harder way.."He said grinning and walked towards Emily.Matt face palmed and followed him,keeping some distance anyway.

Students and started coming inside the Cafe and as usual crowded around Emily and her group.It was usual for Emily to bully someone or the other before the first hour.They laughed and whispered  to each other,looking at the juniors.

Emily didn't want it to be this way.She didn't exactly like bullying and bullying kids?Cowards do that.But the look on her mom's face when she had mentioned her dad..it made her hate her dad more..for making her mom suffer like that..And she had to show that on someone..She had to vent it out.She saw Rachel and Sabrina teasing those.kids in the morning when she was coming and decided to use that as an opportunity to relax and forget about her dad.

She looked  at her phone,10 minutes for the bell to ring.She decided to end this and hopped down to ask them to stop when she saw two guys walking towards her.One of them,she knew.He was trying to flirt with Rachel the other day but the other guy..She didn't know.He looked smart,blonde hair,blue eyes and was tall.He was fair and was wearing a green shirt and jeans.

"Well well..I think the flirt boy is back to get a good slap from you again Rach.."Emily said smirking,looking at Rachel.Rachel looked at Matt and made a face"So..What trick are you gonna use this time to seduce me huh?"she asked taking a step forward with a stern face.Matt stepped back"No..nothing like that Rach.."

"Don't call me Rach!!"she said gritting her teeth and took anther step forward towards him.Jeremy came in between them and smile at Rachel"Cool down girl!Why do you have a Nick name when you don't want people to call you that way?"he asked,trying to swallow his nervousness.

Rachel glared at him"I don't what Him to call me that way.."She said pointing a finger at Matt who was trembling."Then why don't you change your nickname to something like...Rach-for-all-except-Matt or something like that?"Jeremy asked smirking.The students around them started snickering.

Rachel's face went red and she stood there speechless staring at Jeremy.Emily was just looking at what was happening and shook her head walking towards them.She kept her hand on Rachel's shoulder and asked her to get behind.Rachel walked back to Sabrina,embarrassed

Emily looked at Jeremy with a cool face as though he hadn't just insulted her best friend."Now,who is this New face?"Jeremy gulped."Jeremy..a new student"he said.Emily grinned."You have pretty eyes"he muttered.Emily looked amused and laughed.Everyone else was  looking at them silently."You have a pretty laugh too"he said a bit louder.She looked at him with a smile and a wicked look which couldn't be quite missed.

"Sad you don't have a pretty father"

Her face fell.Her eyes became wide and she felt like someone had stabbed her.Everyone started whispering to each other,the gasps and mutterings audible.Matt pulled Jeremy's hand "What the hell did you say now??"he hissed,sensing danger."What?It's true right?Her parents got divorced and she lives with her mom."

Jeremy said not knowing that saying those words had set into motion  a series of events which would change his life..forever.
