When Jesus was in his ministry he gave the apostles instructions to pray (Matthew 6: 5-13)
They constantly saw the example that He gave in prayer

Prayer is talking with God, just as you speak with someone you trust, the same is with Him, of course, respecting his authority.

I know that there are times when you are tired of school or work and what you want is to go to sleep, but you have to make that effort to pray

Kneel down and say thank you for allowing you another day to live, for giving you food, etc. and we must also ask for forgiveness since we are not perfect and we fail

It may cost you to pray but keep trying and if you already do it always then keep on persevering
