3:30 PM

Firey's POV:
I was at home, getting ready. Getting ready for what? Leafy's birthday party. It's going to be awesome. Pen, Pencil, Pin, Bubble, Ice Cube, and the 4 girls would be there along with me. We would be playing lots of games with lots of food up our mouth! I packed an extra pair of clothes just in case. Once I was done that, I slipped some shoes on, and went out the door. It was 3:40. Leafy's party didn't start until 4:00, but I wanted to surprise her and help get things ready. I knocked on her door. "Coming!" Someone yelled. About a minute later, the door opened. "Firey? What are you doing here! The party doesn't start till 4!" she exclaimed. "I know. I wanted to surprise you and help you get everything ready! Happy birthday Leafy!" I greeted her with a hug. And to surprise her even more , I hugged her in the Slow dance position as we practiced yesterday! I could feel her face getting hot. But it went away. She smiled. "Oh, well, thanks a bunch, Firey! Please come in." Leafy moved to the side so I could fit through.

Leafy's POV:
I was so surprised when Firey had come to my birthday party early! He's so kind and handsome, coming here to help me prepare everything! This totally had to be one of the reasons I loved him so much. "So, what do you want me to do?" asked Firey. "Could you blow up those balloons?" I pointed to a table with balloons on it near the corner. Firey nodded and went to go and blow them up, as I hung a few more streamers. After that, everything was ready!

Firey's POV:
There was still 10 minutes until the party, so Leafy and I could just chill. "Wanna watch something?" Leafy asked me. "How about a horror movie?" I suggested. "Fine, but if I scream don't be surprised!" she warned me. I laughed. "Lol, don't worry, I won't be." I answered her. She turned on a vampire movie on Netflix. After about 20 minutes, the horror began. A character called Alyssa screamed as a vampire jumped from behind her, blood dripping from its lips. "AAAHHH!" Leafy screamed. She was so scared she fell over and landed on me. "Lol, Leafy, are you ok?" I asked her. "Yeah, glad that we are on the couch and not the floor. On a side note, I warned you I would scream!" Leafy responded. I laughed, and she laughed along. After another few minutes, Alyssa went to her bedroom. As she fell asleep, (note: never fall asleep when vampires are near!) there were sounds of moaning vampires and slurping-blood-sounds. Leafy (obviously) got scared again. "No! Don't kill Alyssa! She's a good girl!" Leafy cried out. I could tell she was really scared of what might happen (to Alyssa) next, that she suddenly grabbed my arm and clung onto it like she would lose her dear life if she didn't. I blushed a little bit. Then all the vampires jumped on Alyssa and she screamed! ("She screamed" meaning both Leafy and Alyssa.) Leafy got even more scared that she moved really close to me. Like, she was right by my side with no space in beetween. Except of atoms and cells and all that stuff. And she was still holding my arm to add to that! I blushed even more. Luckily Leafy didn't notice it. I faced the TV screen so that maybe the feeling would fade away as I watched Alyssa's poor fate. "Oh my gosh, I don't want to watch this anymore!" Leafy exclaimed. She grabbed the TV remote and switched it off. She finally realized how close she had gotten to me. She blushed and moved back to her side. She started stuttering. "I- I- I'm sorry Firey, I didn't realize th-that--" "Don't worry about it," I quickly said, cutting her off. I didn't like to cut people off, especially my crush, but I did it to prevent more embarrassment. "Oh, ok.." she replied. I smiled at her. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Leafy answered it. The 4 girls, Pin, Ice Cube, and Bubble were there. "Oh! What are you guys doing here?" Leafy asked. "Your party, remember?" they all said. Oh my tofu ! I totally forgot about the party while Leafy and I were watching that horror movie. Hm. I had a romantic-ish moment with Leafy on her birthday. Not a bad day so far! :/

Author's Note: I got hit with extra homework :/ really stressing me and I was planning on this too be one big chapter but with all the homework it would take too long.. didn't want y'all to wait too long! So I divided it into 2 parts to keep from exhausting myself and to keep you guys from waiting too long for the next part. ;D see you on the next part! (Which I will get started on after all of this homework! )
