February 14th, 2015 :D FINALLY!

7:40 AM

Firey's POV:
The day of the dance is finally here. I can't wait to dance with Leafy, and then surprise her with a kiss. I grabbed a black bow tie, and stuffed it in my bag for the dance. I then grabbed a black suit and carefully folded it up and put it in my bag as well. After that, I zipped up my bag and put on a coat, and out the door it was for me. I reached Leafy's house, and knocked on her door. "Hey Firey," she said, smiling at me. "Hi Leafy," I replied smiling back at her. I grabbed her hand, and she blushed. She closed her door and walked out with me. "So, it's the day of the dance, huh? And V-day, too." she noted. I could tell she was excited for the dance, too. But why? Did she know that I liked her yet? Anyway, I swung her hand back and forth. "Yep. I can't wait to go!" I told her. I smiled. Just wait till' I kiss her! And for more than one second this time.

Leafy's POV:
I can't wait till the dance. Im going to admit my crush on Firey. I think he probably likes me too. But we'll see. "Yep, I can't wait to go!" Firey told me. "Remember we're going together?" He asked me. I blushed. "A-as friends!" He quickly said. Oh, right. That kind of put me down. Friend Zone. But we kissed on the cheek several times, the lips too, and he would give up large amounts of his blood for my blood to be kept where it should be. There had to be something, right? We reached the school grounds just as the bell rang. We ran inside and put our stuff away. I still can't wait!

11:40 AM almost LUNCH DISMISSAL

Firey's POV:
Only 55 minutes till the dance. Less than an hour! I looked at Leafy. She was beautiful, even in regular clothes. Leafy looked into my eyes. I looked into hers. Our faces got closer and closer. But I finally regained my senses and instead of a kiss, I went into a hug. Save it for later, dummy! I yelled to myself in my head. Leafy held me tight, and I did too. I think that moment our feelings for each other were completely the same, mutual. I couldn't wait. Today my plan would come to life, and I'm sure everything will go great. I let go of Leafy, and we just looked into each other's eyes. Those beautiful eyes, pretty face, That's been keeping secrets for too long. Suddenly, the lunch bell rang. I kissed Leafy on the cheek quickly and ran to Pen and TB, with GB and Pencil who were already outside and chatting about the dance. "Hey Firey. How's YOUR girlfriend?" Pen asked. "What?!" I said, blushing. "She isn't my girlfriend! At least, not yet." I added. "Hi Firey," Pencil and GB greeted me. "Hi." I replied. TB and GB were holding hands, and Pen and Pencil, too. I didn't hold Leafy's hand, as I ran away from her in slight embarrassment. "Firey, where's Leafy?" Pencil asked me. "Oh um she is still in the cafeteria I left her there." I answered. "What! Why'd you leave her?" GB asked. "Because.. Because.." I stuttered. "Bro don't be afraid to tell us," TB told me. "Because I just kissed her on the cheek and I was embarrassed so I ran here." I finally told them. "Awwww!" They all said. "Firey, that's cute!" Pen told me. "I kissed her on the lips yesterday too." I blurted out. "What!? That's great!" Pencil told me. "Tell us about it!" Pen begged. "Well, we reached school in the morning and when the bell rang, I just sort of looked at her and laid my lips on top of hers, for like one second." I told them. "Awwww." they all cooed. "Er.. yeah I guess." I told them. "So that's why you were so fidgety yesterday!" TB finally figured out. "Yeah..." I replied. "Pretty much." Suddenly, I felt someone grab my hand. I knew just who it was一Leafy.

Leafy's POV:
I grabbed Firey's hand. Cause I wanted to, that's why. He cringed for a moment, and looked over at me with a blushy smile on his face. "H-H-H-Hi L-Lea-Leafy!" He stuttered. I then saw Pen and Pencil holding hands, TB and GB holding hands, and I was holding Firey's hand. I pretended I didn't notice about the hands thing. "Hey Firey," I said, smiling. The couples were giggling and whispering. "Firey, why'd you leave me in the cafeteria?" I asked him. "Uh-Uh" was all he responded. "You ok?" I asked him. "Yeah now that y-I mean yep." he tripped over his words. Firey, I love you. Don't shrivel up when I'm near. I held on to his hand. "So what you guys talkin' bout?" I asked the couples. "Uh- the dance." TB told me. "Can I join in your convo?" I asked. "Sure," said Pencil. "So we are all going together as dates!" GB squealed. This seemed to make Firey uncomfortable. "Uh, I need to use the washroom," he said quickly, and broke free of my grip. I frowned. Wasn't I usually the shy one? GB got close to me and whispered in my ear. "Do you like Firey as a boyfriend?" "Yes." I answered. "He loves you, congrats! He even told us he loved it when he kissed you on the lips." I started blushing. "H-he told y-you about that?!" I answered in shock. "Yeah." Pencil answered. "You should totally ask him to be your dance date." GB added. "Well, he asked me as friends." I said, sadly. "Don't worry! He will make a move on you, even if it isn't at the dance." TB told me. Suddenly, Firey came out of the bathroom, and grabbed my hand again.

Firey's POV:
"Sorry ladies and gents, for the wait." I laughed. Everyone laughed at my joke, except Leafy. She just looked at me with this big smile on her face. "Leafy? Why so happy?" I asked her. "Uh-er-um-heh- the dance is almost here!" She said, talking fast. "Oh okay." I replied. "I know, It's going to be the best!" Pen said, winking at me. "Hey, we have 2 minutes left. Lets play something." TB suggested. "Sure," I replied. "Lets play 'The Booth'!" Pen said. "The booth of what?" Leafy asked. "Kissing booth!" Pen laughed, and starting making out with Pencil, and TB and GB started making out too. I just stared at Leafy, and a blush formed on my cheeks. "Uh," I stuttered. Leafy started blushing too. Suddenly, the bell rang. Whew, now I definitely can say I was saved by the bell. On another note, ITS TIME TO GET CHANGED TO GO TO DA DANCE! The dance is in like 20 minutes, just enough time to get ready. As we reached our grade 8 hall, I held Leafy's hand tight. "So, It's finally here." I noted. "Yup. Are you excited for it?" Leafy asked me. "Yeah." I answered. "Alright everyone, get everything you think you'll need for the event. Get your 5 dollars, change, do whatever, and when finished please come inside the classroom." Ms. Quire explained. I opened my locker and took my black suit out, and went to change.

Leafy's POV:
I finished putting on my blue dress and heart shaped necklace, and pulled out my 5 bucks. This was it. The moment I've been waiting for. I walked back into my classroom, and everyone saw me enter, as I was last. They all gasped, and I drowned in the comments. "Nice dress Leafy!" "Pure beauty!" "Not too much and not too little makeup!" "Amazing!" "Let's give you a round of applause!" Everyone commented me, except the teacher (who wasn't in the room at the moment.) and Firey. He just smiled at me, and joined the applaud for me all throughout the room. So I sat down, and the teacher came in and called out our names, and we each handed her the 5$ and in return she gave us our tickets. "All couples, please line up beside each other, hand in hand. All else, line up behind them." Ms. Quire told us. Firey grabbed my hand. "It counts, right?" He asked me. "Sure." I replied. "N-nice outfit L-Leafy," he finally told me. "Thanks!" I smiled. Then I noticed what HE was wearing. Oh man, a black tuxedo and bow tie, and black, shined dress shoes. Wow!"You too, Firey." I told him. As we walked into the girl's gym, we heard the music blasted up loud, and disco lights flashing all over. "Ready for this?" I asked. "Oh, more than ready." he laughed. We put our tickets in the basket , and entered. Okay, when should I tell Firey about my crush on him? Maybe when a slow song comes on. For now, we'll rock to "Uptown Funk" and stuff!

25 minutes into the dance, the very first couple dance

Firey's POV:
I was just in the middle of disco-partying with Leafy in the song "Party Rock Anthem" until the DJ stopped the music and said, "Couples, get out onto the floor. "Can't help falling in love with you" is a slow song coming up in 30 seconds or less. I saw the 4 girls, and Pin, Bubble, and Icy. Time to get my plan in action. "Firey, can I tell you something?" She asked me. "Uh, Leafy, I think I'll going to take a drink quickly." I lied. "Okay." she replied. I ran over to the entrance where the 7 were near, and I whispered to them, "Time to talk to Leafy." And I hid behind a group of dancers. I watched them go up to Leafy. "Girl! Slow song! Where's Firey?!" They exclaimed. "Taking some water," I heard her reply. "When he gets back, you totally have to ask him to dance!" They all cooed. "What?! No way I could do something brave like that." she answered. Perfect, just how I planned it. "Why? Don't you like him?" They asked. This was my cue. I ran back over. "Oh, hey all. What's going on?" I faked. "Nothing!" The 7 quickly replied. Leafy blushed and looked down. "Oh, uh, Leafy, do you- do you maybe want to d-dance?" I fakingly stuttered. "O-oh! O-ok!" She stuttered for real. So I put my hands on her hips and she put hers on my shoulder, but she wasn't too close. Perfect! We took a few step-turns, and then the 7, as I wanted them too, faked a giggle and pushed Leafy into me. She landed on my chest. This was the moment. I freed one hand, lifted her head up to face me. Okay, I can do this. She blushed, and I smiled at her. I focused on her lips for about 1 whole second, shut my eyes and went in.

Leafy's POV:
Oh, my god. OH, MY GOD! Firey kissed me! And it has been already 3 seconds! Then he slipped his tongue in. I made out with him and enjoyed it. I looked up at him, blushing. "Firey!! W-what was th-that for? Me saving you?" I asked. "No, Leafy. It's because I love you." He said, blushing. Wow, really?! "F-Firey! I.. I love you too." I told him. "Leafy, I know. And I've kept it in until now because I wanted the moment I tell you to be perfect. And it is." he told me. "Awwww!" the 7 girls cooed. I saw Pencil and Pen, GB and TB, Match and Eraser, and Flower and Blocky. Pin came up to me and said, "You lucky girl! I wish I could have a fairytale moment like this." Suddenly, Coiny came up to her. "P-Pin, Uh- w-wanna d-da-dance?" He asked. "Oh! Sure!" She said, blushing, and they walked off holding hands. (THIS IS DEDICATED TO _musicnote_ :3)
I looked back at Firey. "Leafy, we've been through so much. Please be my girl friend." he begged me. "Yes, Firey. I will." I told him. It was perfect. We danced and kissed until the end of the dance. I walked out the door with him, hand-in-hand. "I love you, Firey." I told him. "I love you too, Leafy." he told me. "WELL I HATE YOU!" Someone yelled from behind me, and I felt something harshly hit me in my back, and I blacked out.
