As I grabbed my bag and turned off the TV, I still thought of yesterday. I kissed Leafy twice!! One I meant to do, the other one was an accident. (IF YOU HAVENT READ LAST CHAPTER PLEASE DO SO.) I walked out the door, smiling. I reached Leafy's house and knocked on her door, still smiling. She opened it. "Hey Firey!" She told me. "Ready to go?" I asked. "Yup," I answered. She walked out the door, and locked it. We had our boots on, because there was 7cm snow from last night. We walked in silence, but not awkward silence. A There-is-nothing-to-talk-about silence. Pretty normal day. I'm surprised nothing embarrassing has happened yet. Suddenly, Leafy turned around and--- I can't even believe it. She kissed my cheek. Yes, Leafy, had just kissed my cheek. Her for once, and not me kissing her cheek. I put a hand on where she kissed me. I stood in awe, and started blushing crazy. And there is the embarrassment, I thought. "Leafy? What was that?" I asked in an emotionless voice. I was really really really happy but really really really embarrassed. It's usually me who does something like that. "That's for stopping a bully for me, saving me from embarrassment, leaping off the stairs to help me, comforting me, and more. You're the nicest guy I've ever known." she explained. "Oh..." I replied. "No problem." I was so happy I encrushed her in a hug. Then I kissed her cheek back. "THATS for saving me from puffball, being the nicest girl I've known, sticking with me yesterday, and all." She blushed, and I did too. We let go of each other. I was really impatient. When would the dance finally come?! Then we reached the school grounds. I walked in with Leafy, our faces still red. I felt weird, like someone was watching. Suddenly, something sharp dug into my back and I fainted.

Leafy's POV:
"HA!" A voice yelled. I knew who it was even before I turned around to look. Puffball, with 3 new 'minions.' "Defeated yet, idiot?" Puffball yelled. The three girls snickered. Suddenly, I saw the 4 girls entering behind me. They gasped when they saw what was happening. They ran right to my side. "Ha, going to use those 4? They know nothing." Puffball laughed. "Your boyfriend has a pocketknife stuck in his back, so he can't help you. Good!" I gasped. "2 of you, get him to the nurse, now!" I yelled. 2 of the girls ran off with Firey. The other two stood beside me for backup. "You should know that I'm the popular girl." Puffball yelled. Uh, yeah, everybody knows it. This girl is just SO modest. "And popular girls have their free choice of boys. So back off him if you don't want to get a pocketknife in you!" she told me. "Why do you like him any ways?" I asked. "He freaking got you suspended for 3 days." "Don't you know? He is popular. He has the most friends of his gender, and so that makes him popular! And I'd be even more popular with him, unlike some crappy turd like you who doesn't deserve fame." she snobbed. "What?! All you want is the fame!!" I yelled. "I actually LOVE him like a normal person!" "That's the point. Normal people like you aren't popular like people similar to me, and should/will never be! Girls, get her!" Puffball commanded. Puffball's 3 new minions grabbed me, and squeezed my neck. I was suffocating. The 2 girls who had took Firey to the nurse came back, and all 4 girls took action. 3 of them tried to pull the other 3 off me, and 1 ran to get a teacher. It was almost over. I needed oxygen. Puffball smiled at my fate. "What goes around comes around." she snickered, and I blacked out.

1 of the 4 girls POV:
I saw Mr. Moftre, Leafy's Science teacher. At least I think. "Mr. Moftre! Mr. Moftre!" I yelled. "Jennifer? What is it?" he asked me. "We have a violent situation going on right now.. PLEASE COME QUICK!" As we reached the front gates, Mr. Moftre gasped. A puddle of Firey's blood in the snow, and Leafy was lying unconscious on the ground. My 3 best friends were running from Puffball's new minions. I hate Puffball so much now. "What's going on here?" He yelled. Puffball froze, and so did her 3 minions. My best friend out of the 4, Elizabeth, started talking. "Well, Mr. Moftre, it's quite a bit of a story, you see."

Firey's POV:
I woke up in a bed. What?! The last thing I remember was something sharp in my back, and now I was in a bed. I recognized the place. It was the nurse office. I looked beside me, and saw Leafy. Only she wasn't okay. She had an oxygen mask on, and it was pumping air wildly. I suddenly felt so bad. Something had happened to her when I had gone out cold, and whatever it was I wish I'd been there to help her. "Firey, you're ok!" The 3 girls said. "Wait, where's the fourth of you guys? Why am I in the nurse office, and why is Leafy in need of oxygen?" They all looked at each other, and sadly answered with one word. "Puffball." "What?! How?!" I answered, shocked. "Well, first she stabbed you with a.. pocket knife." they answered. I had been stabbed! Oh my lord, am I ok? "Then we saw Leafy and backed her up. Julia and Vanessa took you to the nurse office while Elizabeth and I stayed behind to back her up. Then puffball told Leafy to back off of you because she wanted to be with you because you are popular, because you have a lot of friends." they continued. Wow, I'm popular? This event is really confusing. "Then Leafy yelled at Puffball that she was horrible for wanting you for her fame and... and that..." they hesitated. "What?" I asked. "And she yelled that she deserves you more because she actually loves you like a normal person and doesn't want you for something stupid like fame." they whispered. "Leafy said she l-l-loves m-me?" I asked. "Yes!" They squealed in delight. I felt extremely happy. She loves me! She loves me! I want to kiss her right now but I couldn't cause she had the oxygen mask on and I still had to wait for the dance. "Anyway, Puffball said she is popular and not a normal person and got her 3 new set of minions to choke Leafy." they explained. "What!?!" I felt horrified. Weird love story, that's for sure. "And yeah, we got them in trouble with your science teacher, and Julia... er.. she got bitten by one of Puffball's new minions... that's pretty much it." the finished. I stared across the room and saw Julia, with blood coming out of her neck. There were 3 nurses rushing around, the main one and two others. One came to greet me. "Firey, glad to see you're looking better." she smiled and rushed over to Julia. Suddenly, Leafy sat up in her bed. I was glad she was still.. with us. :,)

Leafy's POV:
I'm in a bed. The moment I opened my eyes, I was happy as hell that I was alive and breathing. Then I wanted to know if Firey was ok. He did get stabbed. I looked around frantically, and caught sight of him. He was smiling at me. I was really happy we were both ok. A nurse came over to me and asked, "Can you breathe?" She took off my mask- wait, I had an oxygen mask on? And I breathed in deeply, and breathed out. "You're perfectly fine! I must tell you that you almost died.. But you're here!" She smiled. "You and Firey. He almost bled to death, and you almost suffocated to death. But both of you are quite the fighters!" Three of the girls pushed Firey's bed beside mine. (it's one of those hospital beds with wheels) He grabbed my hand. "Leafy, I think we'll be alright." I smiled at him. We've been through so much, I couldn't even believe it. I hugged him, but lightly just in case his back was still hurting a bit. I would have thought the 4 girls would start cooing like they would, but they weren't there. In fact, they were crowding around one single bed on the other side of the room. One of the 4 girls was in it. Julie, I think? Or is it Julia? She had.. Bite marks on her neck, and they were bleeding a little. I felt kind of bad. Out of the 3 of us, she seemed to be the worst trying to progress to being okay. I felt bad. One nurse came over to Firey, and put a machine onto his back, and one nurse came over to me and checked my heart rate. It was pumping at a normal speed, and she put the oxygen mask on me and told me to breathe deeply, three times. So I breathed in for 5 whole seconds, and out for another whole 5 seconds. I repeated another two times. "Ok, Leafy looks to be okay." she yelled to the other nurses, and smiled at me. Firey heard, and looked over at me and smiled. I smiled back, and blushed a little. He tuned back to the nurse, who applied what seemed to be a pure, white lotion-like substance onto his back. Then she injected medicine into it with a syringe. "Ok, Firey and Leafy are ok. Go home! It's 3:13, so there really is no point." the main nurse told Firey and I. Wow, the operation took that long. The start of the day to the end. Our stuff was on a small bench near the entrance to the nurse office. I grabbed my bag, and handed Firey his. We were back to going home!

Firey's POV:
Leafy handed me my bag. "Thanx," I told her. She smiled warmly at me. I was really happy she and I were still here, if you know what I mean. Puffball is so evil! She almost killed two people for fame. But then again, thanks to her I found out Leafy truly does love me. Nice to know that I can randomly go up to her and just kiss her on the lips and she would like it!! :3 I have been aching to make out with those beautiful, unchapped lips. : ( I still have to wait though. But it will come, and I'm sure it'll get here quick! After all, there is only 4 days left. I then blinked my eyes, and saw Leafy had drifted off, too. She then blinked her eyes too, and I pulled her into a hug. She was a little surprised, but then wrapped her arms back around me. I definitely love her more than the night I saw Pen and Pencil kiss outside my window. I'm sure excited for the day I kiss her on the lips, for real!
