Aarna's pov:

After taking an afternoon nap, I went to the balcony to enjoy an evening breeze as the weather outside was so pleasant. It seems like it's gonna rain anytime soon.

Closing my eyes, I let myself enjoy the moment but opened them immediately when I heard his voice, coming from the room. So lifting myself from the sitting position, I marched inside and saw him talking over a call with a grumpy face.

"Arjun, you can go with your wife. Why do you have to drag me along with you?" He asked him with an irritating frown.

"What! Then let her ask the girls to accompany her. I don't have time to go for those silly movies."

"No, Arjun. Listen to me. It's so unfair." He whined as I stood behind him, listening to his whole conversation with my hands crossed over my front.

Seeing that, he wasn't going to give up, I poked him with my finger and when he turned back to look at me, I snatched the mobile from his hand and replied to Arjun Bava.

"Bava, count us in. Text him the address." Saying this, I ended the call and looked at him. He was glaring at me for my actions but I continued to ignore him and grabbed a nice dress to get ready for our movie date.

"Hey! Stop there! When did I even agree to come with you? If you want, go with them. Just don't force me to come with you." He said and about to go outside but I ran in front of him to block his way.

"Don't be a spoilsport. We all rarely got a chance to gather together and spend time, these days. So don't say 'No'. Now go and get ready like a good boy." He pondered over my words for a while and reluctantly nodded at me. I smiled at his response and went to get ready.

By the time, I came outside, I saw him sitting on the bed, completely dressed up. When he saw me, he told me to make it fast and went downstairs. After he left, I tied my hair into a ponytail and headed down after grabbing my bag.

Soon we both got settled in the car and started heading to the address, Arjun Bava had texted earlier.

"Dhruv! Is something bothering you?" I asked him when I saw him frowning continuously.

Listening to my words, his head snapped in my direction and shifted his attention back to the road by smiling at me lightly.

"Just a business-related issue. Don't worry." He assured me but I still couldn't shake off that feeling.

"Are you sure? We can still go back though. I will call Daksha Akka and give her some excuse for our absence." I told him but he shook his head.

"No need, Aaru. I can manage. It's really nothing serious."

"Okay. Then you have to forget about the company matters till we go home. What say!"

"Haa. Whatever my wife says, goes." He said with a teasing smile as I turned my face away from him with a bashful smile.

Once we reached the said movie theater, I was greeted with the sight of Daksha Akka, Yuktha Akka, Arjun Bava, and much to my surprise, even Indra Anna was there. I bit back my smile when I saw him standing there with an uninterested look and a scowl etched on his face.

I immediately rushed to them and hugged both Daksha Akka and Yuktha Akka. Soon we three started talking excitedly as the guys went to buy some snacks.

"Where is Rishu?" I asked Yuktha Akka but Daksha Akka was the one who had answered me.

"Where else? Obviously at her work." I heard her saying and I nodded at her, still eyeing Yuktha Akka who was standing there silently.

"This girl! She is becoming more like certain someone." I said grudgingly, shifting my gaze to Dhruv who just approached us along with the other two, holding the popcorn buckets and cokes in their hands and dumped them in ours' once they reached us.

"Let's move. It's about the time for the movie." Arjun Bava declared as we followed him.

Once we were inside, without giving our respective spouses a chance to sit beside us, we three sat together, ignoring the glares those were throwing on our side. I was sitting between Daksha Akka and Yuktha Akka, followed by Indra Anna beside her. Dhruv and Arjun Bava were sitting at the farthest corner of our row, with the grimace.

Daksha Akka laughed seeing their faces as I followed her suit and laughed but stopped doing so immediately when I saw Indra Anna glaring at me

"Stop glaring like that or else you will have to live as a single cow all your life," I warned him, and hearing my words, he lunged forward to grab my hair like we always do but stopped in the middle when he saw that he was almost leaning towards Yuktha Akka and she was looking like she was having a hard time breathing.

"Geez, See. She is out of breath because of you. Please, be gentle." I educated him but got confused when I received the odd looks from all of them.

"Ahem.. What happened now?" I asked them with a frown.

"Nobody will treat you as dumb if you don't speak." Daksha Akka said while coughing a little as Indra Anna shot me a glare while mumbling that I don't have any filters while talking. Only Yuktha Akka was sitting there, completely seeming unconcerned about the whole issue while taking deep breaths.

I just shook my head, not understanding why they were reacting like this and started plopping some popcorn into my mouth while glancing occasionally at my husband lazily.

"Stop craning your neck too much and concentrate on the movie." Daksha akka mumbled near my ear as I scowled at her.

We three laughed to our heart's content as some of the scenes in the movie were too hilarious. Not only us, but the whole people in the hall also burst out into a laughing fit except for the three halos we brought along with us.

I shifted my head a little to glance at them. Those three had kept their faces as if this world had owed them something. Not wanting to spoil my mood, I shifted my attention back to the screen.

When another comical scene came, I again peeked at them while resisting the urge to not do so and gaped at their behavior. Indra Anna was sitting there as if he was about to fall asleep. Dhruv was stretching his neck as if he wanted to count the no. of people in the hall to pass the time and Arjun Bava was staring at the screen blankly while yawning occasionally.

"Geez, don't look at them. Too much anger is harmful to lungs."  I told myself and chose to turn a blind eye to them.

Soon it was the interval and taking this as a chance, I stood up from my seat and after crossing Yuktha Akka, I smacked the heads of both Dhruv and Indra Anna as they both came to this world and looked at me innocently while Arjun Bava covered his head immediately when he saw that Daksha Akka strutting towards us.

"Why the hell are you three behaving like this when the movie is so good?" Daksha Akka yelled at them and took deep breaths to control herself.

"You all better to laugh or at least smile when it's necessary or else.." She left the sentence to hang in the middle.

"Or else what?" Arjun Bava asked her innocently with a frown and she smirked at him in reply.

"Or else, the couch will be big enough to accommodate you for a week." She said while huffing all her way to her seat.

"Same goes with you too. I guess Aadhya will be so happy to have me in her room." I warned Dhruv as he gave me a 'what did I do to get this injustice' look.

I sighed at his antics and glared at Indra Anna who was hiding his smile.

"That's why being single is a fortunate thing." I obviously knew he was trying to irk the other two. So I decided to remind him about his matchmaking crisis at home.

"Don't be so quick to feel so happy. Seeing your best performance, I wanted to reward you with something. So I will forward a profile of one of female acquaintance to Peddhamma." Hearing me, his smugness got wiped off and he shot me a glare.

"You won't dare to."

"Try me!" I smiled at him in a provoking manner.

"Aaru, please sit here. I will have to pacify my beautiful wife." He said, more like he seriously instructed me but his body posture gave away his pretense.

While passing me, he gestured them something with his eyes as those dumb fellows nodded at him with a smile in an understanding manner. I looked at his retreating back doubtfully when dhruv suddenly pulled me down to sit on the seat.

"A good person shouldn't be standing like an idiot in the middle." He advised me as I shook his hold on my hand with a scowl.

Soon the post-intermission movie got started and it was completely different from the first half as it was so emotional. I even felt like crying at some particular scenes. When I was so immersed in the movie, I was brought back to reality by the laughter of someone.

I dabbed my teary eyes and turned aside to have a glimpse of that hobo but got to know that hobo..no..no those hobos were none other than my dearest husband, brother, and brother-in-law.

I pinched Dhruv's thigh discreetly, indicating him to stop this nuisance but he sat there like a rock, still cackling up at an emotional scene where the hero lost his best friend.

"Stop laughing! Will you?" I warned him

"I am laughing just as you have wished, my darling," he answered me with a goofy smile.

I just fisted my hands to not beat the hell outta him and I was so embarrassed when the people started giving weird glances in our direction and coincidentally, we three stood up together and glared at the fellows who were still laughing out their guts.

"Sorry, we three are not acquainted with these wackos." Saying this, we rushed out of the hall Immediately and were greeted with the hot exterior.

Soon those three followed out with a smile on their faces as we three chose to ignore them and started walking ahead.

"Oh, my baby! Where are you going leaving me all alone there? I am so scared." Arjun Bava said dramatically as Daksha akka lifted her bag to whack him.

Seeing this, immediately Dhruv grabbed my bag from my hand and hid it behind his back as I bit my lips to control my smile.

"You three really outdid yourselves today. Great. Just great. You all, just wait for the outcomes of your deed. For now, you, drop Yuktha Akka at her home." I yelled before instructing Indra Anna.

"Oh. We will see it and about dropping her, I guess her fiancé won't like her traveling in another man's car. So I am leaving." He just dropped a bomb on us and left from there coolly as we all shifted our focus to Yuktha Akka who was avoiding our gazes.

"What? Fiancé?" Daksha Akka mumbled.

"I...It's true. I will tell you about everything soon." Saying this, in a low voice, she rushed out hurriedly.

"Geez! What's happening? Let's go to our homes for now. She will tell us when she is ready. Goodbye!" Daksha Akka said with a sigh and grabbed her husband's hand before making her way out.

"Even she is getting married now. My ship has gotten sunk even before it gets a chance to sail." I told him in a dejected tone as we started walking out.

"What!" He looked at me in confusion.

"Nothing. Even if I say so, you can't understand the worries of the mortal beings."

"Mortal beings? Gosh! Woman. Let's hurry home. You are talking weirdly. So you must be sleepy." He shook his head as if he had been vexed with handling the tantrums of a stubborn kid as I raised my hand to slap on his arm but he dodged it immediately.

"No manhandling. At least not when we have the audience. I have an image to maintain, please." He said in a slight whining tone, still looking around to notice if anyone was looking at us.

I giggled when I saw his cautious behavior as we hit the road after settling in our car. We joked around on our way and bickered over the petty things. When I felt the gust of wind and pitter-patter through the window, I stretched out my hand and felt the rain that had started pouring so heavily out of nowhere.

"Put your hand back. I am closing the windows." Obeying his words, I did what he asked me to do but suddenly thinking of something, I grabbed his hand excitedly.

"Dhruv, pull over the car to the side of the road. please. Pretty please." I pleaded and unable to bear my fuss, he parked the car near a tree with a sigh.

Once he stopped the car, I got off it with an excited grin, ignoring the yells of Dhruv. I rushed under a tree and gestured him to do so too as he reluctantly came outside and ran quickly to my side to avoid getting drenched.

I smiled at him and stretched my hand out to feel the patter.

"Do you remember the incident under the tree before our marriage? I still remembered how you had fooled me back then and I have yet to settle scores with you for that incident." I complained with a slight pout but soon a gloating smile took over my face.

"I guess at that time, you never had thought that how lucky you would get to have this Pretty and Cute Aarna as your wif-" I was caught off guard when he pulled me towards him with his hand on my waist and the other hand holding my face. He brought his face so close to me as his soulful black eyes which were squirming with an unknown emotion met with mine before smashing his lips onto mine and took me into a passionate kiss.

I was still in a stupor to react according to what's happening around me but when I came back to my senses, I felt like the world had stopped and it was only just two of us. As I started reciprocating it with equal passion, the flutter in my stomach only got intensified and my heart pounded in my chest as my knees almost got weaker. Thanks to his hold on my waist, I was still standing intact.

I wasn't sure whether nature had rooted this moment but for that, I'd known myself, I didn't feel shy. If anything, it was the warm feeling of his breath that had addictively invaded all my senses.

That feeling only got accentuated when his hand slowly crept up to pull my zipper down. I wounded my arms around his neck as I deepened the kiss but I gasped when I felt his hand roaming all over my almost bareback as he slowly slid down the fabric a little off my shoulder and started peppering the kisses all over my collar bones.

I completely came back to my senses when I felt him completely slipping my top off my shoulder and held his hand from doing so, suddenly becoming conscious of the surroundings.

"We are outside," I told him, abruptly becoming shy and squirmed timidly under his passionate gaze.

"I am sorry. I couldn't resist myself and had completely forgotten that it was a public place." he coughed a little with a teasing smile while saying so and helped me in zipping up my dress. After he was done, I ran towards the car while patting my blushing face when I heard him chuckling behind me.
