Nat's POV

I was at work when I receoved a call: as soon as I saw that it was the hospital I got scared.

My first thought was Lily, did something happened to her while she was at school?

When I answered the call I beard Steve''s voice.

-What happened? Is Lily ok?!- I asked.

-Yes she is still at school, it is about Bruce- Steve said -He had an accident at work, you should come here-.

And there I was, in the hospital corridor waiting for some news.

Finally I could see him and the doctor told me that he had been very lucky.

-You are here- he said when he saw me.

-Of course I am!- I said -I was scared!-.

-I thought you went with James- he said and I looked at him, confused -I saw you two talking some days ago and I heard you saying that you can't be happy if he isn't in your life-.

-Bruce I...- I started to say but he stopped me.

-Go to him- he said -I talked with him a few days ago and he has really changed this time, I talked with his bosses in the army as well and they said he is a different man-.

-But... And you?- I said.

-I'll always be here for you, as a friend- he said.

I smiled, crying and hugged him.

I run and run, raining starting to fall but I didn't care. The only thing I cared about was reaching James' house as soon as possible.

He lived in his old flat so it wasn't hard to find.

I knocked at the door and when he opened the door he was confused.

-Nat...- he said.

I couldn't resist more, I kissed him.

-Bruce told me about your talk- I said -This is your last chance, don't waste it-.

He smiled and we kissed again.

I felt good, everything was perfect and I felt like all the pieces came back at their place.

That guy helped me since day one and I couldn't wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

Special: James' POV

When I saw her at the door my brain turned off: all I could think about was that she chosed me again.

I couldn't lose her again, I had to change and I would have done everything to see her smiling everyday.

Who could have said that one simple day at university can change your whole life.

Destiny wanted us to meet that day and now I would have never let her go.
