CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

I walk in to see grandma Tina not my grandma but Daphy's. She has that mic thing next to her mouth.

She pinches my cheeks," Hi sweetie how are you?" 

" Good." I smile walking away. She doesn't like being interrupted when she's busy.

She goes back to her conversation. "No not you! I'm a professional, now what do you want?!" She snaps.

The Da'vinchis are so sweet, until it comes to there business.

I see momma she's playing with my younger brothers curls. I haven't seen her in person for almost two months now.

She keeps calling me to keep taps on me but I just wanted personal space until I had move back in with her. She knows how she is hope she understands?

I walk to Ma trying to get this done with as quickly as possible. She will kill me I know it.

"Momma!"

She looks up, sees me and open her arms. I walk into them. Maybe she forgives me?

"Paisley my baby how are you?" She says all smiley and shit.

"Fine mother, and you?" I can feel some anger coming.

"You're fine?" She lifts my head, so I look into her eyes.

"Yeah ma?" She's making me nervous being so calm.

She smacks the back of my head. "Then where the hell have you been? So now you the shit now? Barely gracing us with your presence?!"

I swear she gets the hitting thing from Kenzo's parent's. You know parents these days when they find efficient ways to punish us they got to spread the word.

Yuri clears his throat. Oops I forgot he was here. Good he's being unnoticeable like I told him to.

I take his hand, once again intertwining them.

"Ma this is Yuri." I point at him, and fake a lovingly look.

Yuri offers his hand, "It's nice to meet you miss."

Ma's mouth forms an o shape. Is she okay?

"Ma you okay?"

"I didn't think that you'll actually uhm......"

"Ma what are you talking about?"

She claps her hands nervously. I've never seen her act this way like she's actually in the wrong. "Uhm nothing sweetheart. I guess you'll find out soon enough."

Before I can ask anything else. I hear the wonderful voice of my lovely cousin Ira.

"Is that my boo or is that my boo?!"

I spin around and hug my precious, "It's my boo!" I finish for her.

My half Indian cousin is to amazing for words. She is a little on the chunky side. Chunky look good on her tho.

But fuck it, haters can go hate on another planet.  ✌️-👆.

Her five year old pops out from the side aww. It's Israel adorable behind. He shyly smiles at me. I guess Ira just now sees Yuri.

She eye rapes him. "Oh girl who is this?" She crosses her arms.

She lifts one eyebrow, "Your boo thang?" She winks while nudging my shoulder.

"Yeah, his name is Yuri "

"Does Yuri speak or are you his mouth? 👄 "

That's one thing  I love about my cousin. She's not afraid to show me up. At least that's what I think I love about her.

Yuri smirks at me as he turns to Ira.

"Actually I do speak but Paisley prefers it, if I try to stay out of the spotlight. You know her being a drama queen and all."

She gives him an once over, "So you're a trouble maker?" She eyes him suspiciously.

Yuri shrugs," I don't go to trouble trouble goes to me."

She lifts an eyebrow," So you're also a flirt who quotes song lyrics?"

Ira seems to like him. She's conversing with him more than she ever did any of my exes.

I look in amazement this boy. Where does he get his smooth talking from? I bet that violin guy taught him.

He shrugs again," If I quote Shakespeare's no one would understand me."

He's got that right. That guy confuses me. For real like tell me in your a  idiot English. What are you saying?!

Ira looks at him weird and I know who she's thinking about.

Her baby daddy.

"You understand that stuff?" Wow he understands Shakespeare?

He winks,"Shakespeare is not meant to be understood it's meant to be stress over of what the meaning is."

"Your right, your right."

There is the sound of the bell meaning it's time for dinner. What happen to breakfast? Damn I overslept.

Grandma Patterson, Awiso , Tina, and my grandma have gotten our attention.

"Excuse me relatives and visitors we have come together for this glorious occasion to celebrate the birth of Jesus!" Kenzo's grandma smiles.

The rest of the grandmas say amen and preach after her.

"So without further wait let's eat!"

Before we can walk to the dining room. She stops us.

"Wait stop in my presence. Have you seen my grand daughter?"

I don't see Kenzo or the girls yet. Where are they?

The doorbell rings the Butler opens it.

In come the girls. They go straight to their grandmas knowing that grandma don't play, "Late for the party but it's okay."

After grandma Awiso is satisfied, "Now let's go eat!"

We are at one of the long dining tables. Where our cousins are. Here sits the grandparents and parents and their siblings.

Family time on holidays  ain't family time if you don't got use 2 long ass dining room tables. At least for my family. Izzy's, Daphy's ,Kenzo's parents all look good for today.

Grandma Patterson leads the prayer "Let us celebrate in the Lords name this glorious occasion for being able to bring our family here today. Amen."

The chorus of amen is heard. The doorbell rings my parents and Yuri say at the same time.

"That must be my guest."

What's with all this guest shit?

In comes, my ex, Izzy's ex, Xiylo and a sexy stranger."

I turn to my parents, "Guest? What the?"

My dad attempts to calm me down. "Paisley calm down I invited him so you guys may reunite some feelings 💘 not knowing you had somebody."

He glances at Yuri and offers his hand. "Hi I'm Viyron Daniels I didn't get the chance to introduce myself. I'm Paisley's father. "

Yuri shakes it confused at the unexpected friendliest.

"Ma? And you?"

"I didn't think you had a boo thang. So I invited your fiancee over."

"Fian-what?!" Did I hear correctly?!
