Truth or Dare [Part 6]

Truth or Dare: Part 6 [Final Part] [Shortish part]

[Present day]

Both boys were still laying, side by side, on the one beanbag in Michael's basement.

Michael had his glasses off now, pulling his hoodie sleeve across his face to dry it off.

Jeremy looked at Michael through astonished, misty eyes "I didn't know...that that happened..." Jeremy swallowed.

Michael nodded slowly, "I didn't know that that note was for me...or how you reacted afterwards..."

"...We're both idiots." Jeremy moved his arm from beside him to across Michael's upperback, pulling him closer until their cheeks pressed together.

They could both feel the wetness that the other's cheek had and felt their hearts glow with joy that the other one cared.

There was silence. Jeremy closed his eyes and focused on the feeling of Michael beside him, glad he wasn't alone.

"...We're both...gay little wimps..." Michael chuckled.

"That doesn't seem so bad to me." Jeremy opened one of his eyes.

"Pft. Of course it does to 'you'."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Jeremy turned over on his side, though still keeping his arm over Michael's shoulders.

Michael turned to his side to face Jeremy as well, grabbing Jeremy's arm until their fingers slipped into a hand-holding position between them, "I could make a comment on anything and you'd like it."

"Oh yeah? How so?"

"Well, I told you that striped shirt looked pretty cool that one time and now nearly every time you come over you have it on."

Jeremy opened his mouth to argue but realized he was wearing the shirt right then, "Th-that's just one example-"

"And!" Michael continued, "When I grew my hair out to make it- as you'd say- 'floofy' like this, commenting that I'd seen guys wear it like this and liked it, you tried using gel for a month to get your hair to naturally stay like this...which ended up in your thick curls right now, so it wasn't a complete bust."

Jeremy could feel himself getting heated and didn't try to hide it, "...Fine..." He muttered.

"Oh but that's not all!" Michael smiled, "Every time before we became...us... whenever I'd offer you my hoodie you'd always say no, that it was probably 'sweaty and moldy'." Michael mocked him good-humoredly, "But don't think I didn't see you cuddling with it when I let you borrow it last time!" Michael concluded.

By this time Jeremy was full on blushing. Completely silent.

Michael held his grin, relishing the moment.

"...I'm not the one who kept record of all of these things, now am I?" Jeremy smiled.

Michael's expression dropped as his face joined Jeremy in the red-zone, "I-it's not like I cared! I just...it...they...the memories happened to be off the top of my head!"

"...A very persuasive argument." Jeremy said sarcastically.

"At-at least my last-name isn't an adverb!"

"...Dude...I know you. You use that come-back whenever you can't come up with a new one, give it a rest."

"Oh and have you kept record of 'that'?" Michael nodded defiantly.

"No...but you've done it so many times it's just normal now."

Michael sighed, "You win."

Jeremy leaned forward to press their foreheads together, "See? I win some things against you."

With that, Michael leapt to the edge of their beanbag, "That's right! The consul!"

Jeremy frowned as the moment disappeared, "Yeah..."

Michael crawled forward and powered up the system, while Jeremy began to move back to his own beanbag. Michael hobbled over to where Jeremy sat in his own beanbag and scooted in beside him, Jeremy made room without hesitation. Michael pretended not to see the cutesy smile on Jeremy's face, "...I-I just didn't want to flatten out my beanbag anymore than you already have." He defended himself as they chose their characters.

"Whatever you say P-1~"
