Runaway [Part 3]
[So I'm listening to Michael in the Bathroom right now, so I can't promise immediate fluff...]
A/N: So I was just sitting around, ya' know...being a Jay. And I took a sip from my Random Diet Soda [TM!?] and I thought, 'well maybe I could not be evil...and finish up Runaway and do some mega fluff afterwards?' Cos' even I get tired of angst at some point...but for now...BUCKLE UP]
Michael waltzed through the Mall Parking lot, heading towards the front entrance. There was about a foot of snow, in certain spots two feet, that occupied the lot throughout, this made it impossible to keep a constant rate of waltzing possible. However, Michael felt a churning determinedness in his stomach as the front doors neared him. Though, he was surprised if the Mall was open at all. The whole parking lot was practically frozen over and it would be impossible for a car to drive through this stuff until the snow-plows came, they large-vehicles were currently making the main street and it would take awhile to get to this parking lot, not to mention the amount of time it would take to clear it.
I suppose the sidewalks have been cleared...though who would be walking through weather like this...oh wait...
Michael would usually grin at his own mishap, however, without Jeremy around he didn't think he could manage the slightest chuckle. I know Jeremy, probably better than any other person in the entire world- in the entire universe. Please let me be right, please, I just want him back...
Michael sighed, imagining finding Jeremy, scooping him up and holding him close, telling him how special he was and how nothing could change that...Just thinking about this Michael's face began to heat up ever so slightly.
IF I find him..
Michael let out a small whimper. What if Jeremy wasn't here? What if Heere wasn't here..., "Oh Jer...what the hell have you done..." he trudged on until he made it to the sidewalk, nearly tripped at the change in friction. He felt his ear-tips heat up with excitement, almost smiling, almost, before he practically threw himself at the sliding doors, letting out an audible sigh of delight at the warmth that instantly hit his face upon entering. Then there was a sudden realization of loneliness as he looked around at the barren mall. Jazz musical quietly played from the speakers above him, ringing throughout the stores. The only sign of life was a janitor that was silently mopping the floors, and the lights beginning to turn on in each shop individually, if they hadn't already been on. Michael looked form left to right to scale his terrain.
This is most likely where he'd stay...right? He doesn't have enough money for a bus ticket, let alone a hotel room...he'll probably stay here until the snow is cleared and then get Jake or Rich or whoever the hell to lend him whatever and then I'll loose him... Michael felt the same jab in his chest I'm not letting that being one of my options. He took in a shaky breath before heading to the nearest Mall-Directory, then proceeding to read the stores aloud.
"Hottopic...no...Forever twenty-one...nope...LuLu Lemons...yuck...BoxedLunch...Wetzles Pretzles...maybe...Spenser's Gift Shop...that'd be me...the...the arcade!" Michael's eyes brightened triumphantly, "Th-that's an option! That's a great option!" Michael immediately made his way towards the games, "Of course, whatever money Jeremy had he'd obviously spend it on games and candy...oh god...he wouldn't survive a day on his own..." Michael picked up his pace.
The arcade was located on the first floor, thankfully, as Michael was on the first floor, it would be at the very end of the strip of shops. Michael could feel his breathing begin to increase to an uneasy level, his breaths let out little whimpers as time passed, until finally, finally he made it. He stopped at the entrance of the arcade and stayed completely silent, listening for any sounds of active games. He didn't hear any buzzing, beeping, or bells. However, what he did hear was quiet sobs coming from somewhere inside the store. Michael's breath hitched, "J-Jeremy!"
