*Concept where every person gets their heart's desire/true wish granted once in their life, the one thing that they'll want above all, but it must be selfless.

*Set up of Jeremy and Michael being best friends after the whole SQUIP thing

*Michael is pining after Jeremy, unaware Jeremy is pining after him

*Michael walking home with Jeremy

*Jeremy is acting flustered before reaching for a note in his pocket

*Note flies into the street

*Jeremy chases after the note, into the street

*Michael tries to stop him but a truck hits Jeremy

*Jeremy dies upon impact and upon Michael reaching the note and Jeremy, he sees the note was a confession

*Michael feels the symptom of a wish being granted as all goes black and he's taken into nothingness before waking up in a different time period

*Michael's been granted immortality but has been sent back 100 years

*He enjoys the retro period, I'm sure, and may have been the cause of some trends

*Upon realizing he won't age and the year he's from, he waits for Jeremy

*The only problem is, he can't remember how or when Jeremy died, or if he died at all, he has every memory of Jeremy up to then

*Michael finally reaches the year in which Jeremy would be the same age as him and they quickly become friends, Jeremy not knowing Michael at all

*Jeremey's death comes again and Michael fails to stop it, causing him to be sent back 100 years all over again

*This continues as Michael continues to wait for years for Jeremy and then attempt to prevent his death unknowingly

*After hundreds of years of reliving his life with Jeremy, Michael is once again presented with the day Jeremy must die

*Because this is a separate life time, and Michael's mind has changed with wisdom and care over his hundreds of years of life, so has a wish of his

*Upon the day of Jeremy's death, at the intersection, as Jeremy begins to step forward into the street, Michael grabs his face with a kiss to stop the boy, in the same moment swinging him back onto the curb, able to remember how he died as he no longer had his abilities

*The momentum sends Michael reeling into the street

*The truck hits Michael, killing him on impact.

*Michael's immortality is no longer present.

*Michael's original wish was for a life forever with Jeremy

*Michael's changed wish was for a life for Jeremy

*Jeremy's wish was for Michael's outright love

*Through multiple attempts of the universe trying to appeal to both Jeremy and Michael's wish, they both got it.

*Jeremy had seen and felt Michael's outright love, something Michael had always possessed but never shown, desiring to show so, thus an act of selflessness for the appeal of Michael.

*And Michael had saved him in the process, giving his own life as selflessness in the act.
