Braid Train

[I seriously need to chill and give out more fluff.]

Braid Train

Michael let out a groan, flopping down on Jeremy's bed, "But do we really have to go over to Christine's house?" He turned over, muttering.

"Yes." Jeremy was brushing his hair to get ready, "It's the least I can do for turning her down after agreeing to go out with her."

Michael sat up and shrugged, "It's her fault for taking what wasn't hers ."

Jeremy sighed, "Please don't be like this the whole time that we're there."

"Like this? Oh, yeah of course, I have no right what so ever to judge the girl who tried to steal my boyfriend- I get it." He fastened his headphones behind his neck.

Jeremy continued to brush his hair, not looking at Michael, "Oh hush, you're overreacting."

"Am I?" Michael mocked in an overdramatic tone, slightly smiling as he tried to ease the tension.

Jeremy turned towards him to shoot a glare, "Just behave."

Michael ran his fingers through his own hair, his way of brushing it, "You can't tell me what to do~" He smiled.

"But can't I?" Jeremy flashed a smile back, "Cause' I think you'd look a lot cuter if you didn't wear your hoodie and maybe, let me borrow it?" Jeremy blinked in the cutest way he could muster.

Michael was quiet for a moment, "...Well shit." He started taking the hoodie off, "Just so you know-" He pulled it off over his head, "I'm doing this because I want to, and not because you want me to."

Jeremy walked over towards Michael and grabbed the hoodie, pulling it over his hair delicately, so it didn't disturb the curls, "Whatever you say~"

Michael muttered to himself, looking down at his feet to hide his blush, "You seriously think I'd look better in a Star Wars T-shirt than in that?" He pointed to the hoodie that Jeremy had on, pressing it up to his cheeks.

Jeremy let his shoulders fall from his cheeks, the hoodie with it, "You'd look great no matter what you were wearing, he headed towards the door, "Even if it was the 'cool dawg' shirt." He winked, heading out the door.

Michael got up, shaking his face to help cool it off, "That boy..." He muttered with a grin, following Jeremy.

They headed down the stairs to the first floor where Jeremy opened the door for Michael, "Why thank you, good sir." Michael pretended to tip a hat that wasn't there.

Jeremy did a little bow, looking up at him, "But of course' M'lady."

Michael biffed Jeremy on the forehead, "Shut up." He snickered.

"As you wish~" Jeremy followed beside him.

As they started their walk towards Christine, which was about three and a half blocks away from Jeremy's house, the two boys' hands casually started to brush against each other until they naturally slipped their fingers into a hand hold, feeling their skin grow hot but pretending like nothing was different.

"So...it's not going to be awkward with just us and Christine over?" Michael glanced at Jeremy.

Jeremy shrugged, "Maybe she invited some other people- I hope at least, it would be pretty awkward...considering...well, considering everything pretty much." Jeremy sighed.

Michael gave his hand a squeeze, "So what if it's awkward? Maybe she'll want us to leave- and then we can."

Jeremy shot a half glare at Michael, "Just, be nice, okay?"

Michael shrugged, "As nice as I can be to a thief~"

"You're such a hypocrite." Jeremy shook his head.

"How so?" Michael raised an eyebrow. They stopped as they were about to cross a street, Jeremy looking both ways and Michael relying on his safety precautions.

"Because," Jeremy continued, "You're a thief too."

"I told you, it was their fault for leaving an unattended bowl of candy at the front of their store! How was I supposed to know you bought it by the pound-"

"You stole my heart." Jeremy smiled shyly.

Michael fell silent and felt a prickling in his face as it's hue turned different shades of red by the second. He couldn't help but smile, "W-well, that can't be true."

"O-Oh yeah? How's that?" Jeremy smiled back at him.

"Because if that was true I wouldn't be able to feel your heart racing from the pulse between your fingers~" Michael grinned.

Jeremy took in a shaky breath.

Michael chuckled a bit, loving it whenever Jeremy got nervous because of him.

They were almost to Christine's when Michael noticed a few extra cars parked in her driveway, he'd never really seen her house before but he figured that her family didn't own four cars, especially considering one of the cars was hot pink, Christine had always seemed practical and he couldn't see anyone remotely related to Christine driving something like that.

Michael hesitantly walked up to the door with Jeremy, hoping the cars belonged to- Brooke opened the door, turning around for a moment, "They're here!" She shouted, opening the door wider, "Come on in, we're hanging out in Christine's living room, come join." She waved them in.

Michael's hand was separated from Jeremy's as they weren't able to both fit through the door by each others' sides. Michael took in his surroundings. Jenna was chilling on the left side of a couch that was at the corner of the room, with an inactive TV in front of it. Brooke was now closing the door, and Chloe was sitting on a coffee table in the center of the room, a rug placed neatly underneath it.

"Wow..." Jeremy's eyes widened, "Is this a party or what?" He joked.

Brooke passed him to sit on the other side of the couch where Jenna was, "We're just hanging~ Though this time you two were invited so it seems a bit crowded I guess." She shrugged, "Though it's great to have you!" She added, not wanting to sound rude.

"Where's Christine?" Jeremy asked.

"Heere! I'm here!" She wobbled out of the kitchen, carrying three chip bags and two dip containers.

"For a small girl she seems to have a lot of food." Michael muttered to Jeremy.

Jeremy ribbed Michael in response, "Shush!" He scolded him.

Michael let out a mutter of annoyance.

Christine dumped the chips down on a small, glass table that was in between the couch and the TV, sitting down beside Jenna, "Have a seat anywhere you like- there's not many actual seats left but the floor is quite comfortable." She nodded to the rug, "It's more comfortable on the rug however, the wooden floor hurts to sit on after an hour or so."

"Alright." Jeremy sat down at the edge of the table, Michael following and sitting down beside him, they tucked their feet under the table and scooted over to make room for Chloe who now joined them on the opposite side of the table, on the floor.

"So...do your parents normally allow you to invite over a bunch of gal friends and two guys?" Michael looked up at Christine.

"Well, originally my parents said I couldn't hang out with guys until I was eighteen...but I told them you guys were gay so they seemed fine with it." She shrugged.

Michael's shoulder's tensed, "Oh so because we like each other-"

"We were allowed over." Jeremy smiled, finishing for him and stepping on Michael's foot to shut him up, "Thank You, again."

"No Problem!" Christine smiled in return.

"So..." Jenna began, "What'ch ya'll wanna' do?"

The group thought for a moment, Chloe beginning to suggest something, "...Truth or Dar-"

"NO!" She was interrupted by both Michael and Jeremy in sync.

"Alright then..." She sunk back down.

"We could play video game?" Jenna suggested.

Christine shook her head, "We only have two remotes, it'd exclude the majority of us.

"Braid train?" Michael laughed jokingly.

Nobody else laughed.

Brooke nodded, "That's actually not that bad of an idea." She shrugged.

"Yeah, we have nothing else to do, and boy do I have loads of dirt on Rich I could tell you guys about." Jenna snickered.

Christine smiled in agreement, "Sure then."

Michael looked horrified, "God no." He tried to come up with an excuse, "I...er, my hair isn't long enough- or thick enough."

Jeremy scooted behind him, starting the chain backwards, "Nonsense, I'll find a way."

Brooke went behind Jeremy, Chloe behind Brooke, Jenna behind Chloe, and Christine behind Jenna.

Michael groaned as the braiding began, "I feel so gay right now..." He muttered.

Jeremy placed a kiss on his shoulder as he started Michael's one millimeter braid, "That's because you are~"
