Anxiety Attacks
Michael sat, huddled in a ball, as he let his phone drop to the ground. He felt himself trembling and his heart racing. Everything felt hot and the air felt like it was getting thicker. He knew what was happening but he hadn't been prepared for the attack right then. Jeremy was currently continued to text him, unaware of Michael's current state.

Jeremy: Oh but yeah so Christine came up to me again today, apparently she thought that you and I had broken up after the whole...video incident...
Michael: ...Yeah?
Jeremy: ...You can guess what happened next
Michael: Yeah...
Jeremy: Lol ikr
Michael: mhm
Jeremy: Same as last time
Michael felt like throwing up now. Same as last time...same as last time...Jeremy was going to leave him. But this time it would be for real. This time it was real. Michael let out a soft groan to himself, watching as the phone slowly powered itself down as he didn't touch it again, unable to read the texts that came in.
Jeremy: Except ya' know. I turned her down...again...can't she take a hint?
Jeremy: lol
Jeremy: ...
Jeremy: Michael?
Jeremy: you there?
Jeremy: ...It's not like I said yes
Jeremy: I didn't I swear
Jeremy: Mike?
Jeremy: Micha <3?
Jeremy: Dude seriously you're scaring me.
Jeremy: Michael
Jeremy: okay that's it I'm coming over.
Michael held his knees to his chest. He wasn't loved, why would he be? He was a cry baby that was too pathetic to even face his own fears. Pathetic. What a perfect word to describe himself. Jeremy had left him. Yep. That's what had happened. Right there and then, bam, gone. Michael felt warm tears run down his face and let out a quiet sob, "Fucking Christine." He cried, "Always her damn fault...always..." his voice was pitched and cracking, "...Or maybe I wasn't good enough...if I had only been there for him more...I could have I swear!" His voice became shrilled as his volume increased, "I swear! Please, give me another chance!" He closed his eyes, letting out audible sobs. There was nobody there to help him, to comfort him, his Ma was on business and Jeremy was off somewhere with Christine, most likely, "Kissing her...loving her...saying she's his favowit God damn person!" He pressed his face into the carpeting of his floor, crying louder. Knowing that nobody would hear made him feel more comfortable about his volume, letting the sons shake his body painfully.
There was a sudden knock at the door before it opened. Michael couldn't hear it over his own cries. However, Jeremy was able to hear himself and Michael. Immediately dropping the bag of video games he had brought to play and slamming the door behind him.
Michael heard the slam and assumed his Ma was home. He instinctively slapped his hand over his mouth to muffle his sobs, as he was unable to completely stop them.
Jeremy raced up the stairs, two at a time, to reach Michael's room. He opened the door without knocking. What he found was a huddled up Michael on the floor of the room, his glasses fogged up and his eyes, barely visible, were bloodshot. Jeremy ran forward and fell to his knees, gently hoisting Michael into his lap and holding him close to his chest, "Sh sh sh...it's okay Mikey...I'm here..." he took Michael's hand and pressed it to his face, giving it a loving kiss, "See? Right here..."
Michael felt small in Jeremy's arms. Small, but warm, and content. He nuzzled his face into the chest of Jeremy's sweater.
"Michael...what's wrong...?" Jeremy held Michael back a little and took off his glasses, revealing the sorrowful eyes of his boyfriend.
Michael pressed his cheek to Jeremy's chest, trying to control his sobs, "Sh-she was gonna' try to t-take you away again." He broke down once more.
"Michael I would never let her!" Jeremy held him closer, slowly rocking him back and forth to comfort him, "Why would want Christine when I could have you?" He smiled.
Michael looked up at him and sniffled, "B-but why would you want m-me?" His voice shook.
"It'd be easier to just say why I wouldn't want you- because there's no reason why I wouldn't, you're just too perfect...honestly Mikes, I didn't think there was perfect, before you." Jeremy kissed his head.
Michael let Jeremy hold him, beginning to calm down. It was funny. Jeremy had been the cause' of this attack...but he'd also been the one to fix it... looking up at Jeremy, who smiled down at him lovingly, he understood, he didn't quite know what he understood, but he did. He just knew...that's love...
