Pork- Chapter One

I finished it! I'll be posting all the chapters here too because I actually spent a whole month doing this so you guys are gonna read it UwU.

Jeremy smiled, glad he had no memory of what had happened. It had all been so sudden; so fast. The soup, the knife, the knife.

He made no effort to clean up the pools of blood around him and covering his body as the sound of dozens of sirens neared closer. He looked down at his plate, the last piece of his home cooked meal smiling up at him. Literally.

He took one last bite as dozens of cops came rushing through the door, their yells echoing around his empty mind.

Jeremy smiled as he saw their shocked faces. It must have been strange for them to see a teenage boy covered in acne scars with a pint of blood on himself, with a dead body propped up next to him, but he didn't care.

It was finally over.

~~~~~
Jeremy tapped his foot against the floor, watching the clock slowly tick. He wanted to get out of this hell hole as soon as possible. The clock on the wall seemed to be going even slower now. Jeremy glanced to his left, and saw Evan smiling and waving at him. Jeremy lifted his hand to wave back, but watched in horror as blood began to gush from Evan's neck. Evan seemed to choke, pleading for help as he crumbled to the floor. Jeremy shot out of his chair, only to realize he wasn't in his classroom anymore. The floor was made of concrete, and as he looked around, he realized it was soaked in blood. Surrounding him were his classmates and friends, all holding their heads in their hands. Connor, Evan, Christine. He turned around, only to realize he was in his boyfriend's arms. He was safe. But why weren't they?
Micheal seemed to know. He seemed so happy. His friends seemed to be screaming at him, but Jeremy couldn't hear them. All he could hear was-
Beep! Beep! Beep!
Groggily, Jeremy shut off the alarm and rolled to the other side. Michael laid still next to him, his spiderman pajamas wrinkled. Jeremy smiled softly at the sleeping boy, but then panicked as he looked at the time.
"Shit. We slept in."
~~~~~~

"Come on man! We're gonna be late for school, and I really don't want Mrs. Hare to yell at us again."

"I'm coming! I swear." Jeremy landed on the last step of his boyfriends staircase ungracefully, grabbing his backpack off the floor. "Ready?" he asked his boyfriend.

"Ready. I was just waiting for you, slow poke." Micheal said with a grin.

"Micheal?" Michael's mother peeked her head around the corner, wearing her cooking apron. "Before you go honey, I wanted to ask if you could you pick up some fresh meat later tonight? Our supply is running low and your father and I will be busy working the truck tonight."

"Sure momma. See you later!" Micheal grabbed Jeremy's hand, pulling him towards his PT cruiser. "Jeremy, you've got rehearsals for Sweeney Todd, right? Want me to take you back home afterwards?"

"I mean, if it's not too much trouble or anything. I could just walk home."

"Nah, you're good. I'll pick you up at five, right?" Jeremy nodded, so Micheal changed the subject. "Hey, did you turn in that English thing yesterday?"

"Crap. That was due yesterday?"

~~~~~
Micheal leaned up against the bricks lining the school, taking out a joint and lighting it. He casually glanced at the kids slowly trickling out of the building, and spotted the one he'd wanted to see. Pretending to not have noticed him, Micheal took a puff out of his joint, waiting for the tall, lanky boy to join him.
"Can I join?"
Micheal smirked to himself, carefully planning his movements. This had always been his favorite part. "Of course dude. Wanna hit?"
Connor instantly took the joint, his jacket sleeve rising up to show some fresh scars. Micheal didn't say anything, but they both knew he had seen them.
"So," Michael started, breaking the tension. "How are you?"
"Just fucking peachy, can't you tell?" Connor snapped back, instantly shaking his head. "Sorry. I didn't mean to-"
"Don't worry about it." Michael blew the smoke from his mouth, making a ring of smoke. "So. I'm guessing you haven't told Evan yet, right?"
"I don't want to bug him with my problems."
"What kind of problems?" Micheal asked gently, already knowing the answer. "What's wrong?"
"I just... sometimes I want it all to... end. My dark thoughts are coming back and I just... don't want to worry Evan. He'd be a wreck and think it was his fault since we're friends or whatever. I just... feel bad I guess. For existing."
"I get that." Micheal said slowly, drawing in his breath before slowly releasing it. "Wanna come over to my house later? Say... Six? We can talk this out more."
Connor looked up at the sky. "Sure. Don't tell Evan though, alright?"
"I won't dude, I promise."
~~~~~~

Jeremy walked out of the auditorium, waving once he spotted Micheal. "Hi!"

Micheal chucked. "Hey cutie." Micheal kissed his boyfriend's cheek, smiling softly. "Ready to go?"

"Yeah. Did you smoke without me?"

"Sorry."

"It's all good. Are you uh, okay? Like, to drive and all?" Jeremy asked. "I could drive."

"Don't worry, I'll be fine. Oh hey, heads up, Connor is gonna come over later tonight 'cuz his brain is like, all sad and shit and he doesn't want to tell Evan."

"Oh, okay. So... no uh, no date tonight?"

"Don't worry, you're still coming over around seven thirty, honey." Micheal parked right outside Jeremy's house, a grin clean on his face. "Want me to pick you up?"

"Nah I'll walk, but thanks." Jeremy smiled. He leaned over and kissed his boyfriend on the lips before throwing his backpack into the backseat. "Slushies first?"

"You read my mind."

~~~
When Micheal got home and parked his car, a note was waiting for him on the counter.
Hi honey! Just a reminder that we will be staying late at the food truck tonight! Your father said he will get some meat for our truck, but if you want any extra meat for you and Jeremy later this week, you have to pick it up. There should still be some extra stuff in the freezer for you two tonight :)
Don't be too crazy!
Love you, Momma
Michael smiled as he read the note. The meat wouldn't be a problem at all.
