Aria

"Baby? Baby boo? My little potato?", I heard cooing in my ear. I slowly opened my eyes and saw a glowing shrey beside me. He's such an adorable sight to wake up to in the morning. I'm gonna miss waking up next to him every morning.

"Hey darling. Good morning", I said waking up.

"Uh uh. Nope. I wanna cuddle more. Stay.", he said pulling me closer to his chest and hugging me tight.

"Shreeey".

"Hmm?".

"We have to go back and pack. We're leaving today".

"Don't remind me Ari. I'm already sad. Don't make me more sad", he said caressing my hair.

"It makes me sad too baby but we do have to go back to our normal lives no", I said looking up at him.

"Can't we just vacation here for one more week", he asked making puppy eyes. I really wish I could but my work calls me back, so does his. His training for South Africa's tour of India starts as soon as we go back to India.

"I wish we could but you and I both know we need to head back", I said moving forward and kissing his nose.

"But I'll miss you. So much", he said pouting and widening his hand, showing me how much he'll miss me. Aww he's so adorable and squishy and cute.

"It's okay we'll meet often. We'll video call everyday", I said reassuring him.

"But I'll miss hugging you and kissing you and sniffing you and watching you sleep".

"You watch me sleep? That's creepy Mr. Shreyas Iyer!", I said punching his chest and laughing.

"It's not creepy when you're girlfriend is drop-dead gorgeous", he said moving forwards to kiss me. Just before our lips met the zip of our tent opened and instead of one, two heads popped in. Rahul and sagar!
Are they like long lost siblings or something, born to annoy the fuck out of me.

"Good morning love birds", smirked Rahul.

"I heard noises coming out of this tent last night. Watcha guys do? Tell me all the details", said sagar eyeing us up and down.

"Goodmorning Rahul. Since this is the last day I'm gonna be seeing you I'm going to be nice to you and you fuck off sagar", I said glaring at him.

"Aww if you miss me all you have to do is say it Aria", said Rahul jumping into our tent and squishing me in a bone crushing hug.

"Group hug", sagar jumped in too.

"G-guys! Can't breathe", I said trying to push them away while shreyas looked at us with an amused smile.

"Okay okay guys enough. Let her go", he said pulling them away from me. Phew finally. One more minute of that hug and I would have suffocated and died.

We all got out of the tent and walked upto the car that's gonna take us back to the hotel. Deepak, surya bhai and shubman had already left. Scarlett was no where to be seen. I'll have to ask sagar about it. So it was the four of us in one car. I took shotgun so I don't have to be squished in the middle of the boys. Shrey wasn't happy and was pouting through the entire car ride coz he didn't have those extra minutes of us together. Dramebaaz means.

Once we reached, we told the receptionist we're gonna check out and went up to our rooms to pack. Shrey followed me and came to my room but I had to bully him and send him to his room so he can pack too.

It was 9:00am and our flight was at 2pm. So we had to leave atleast by 11:00am. Sagar and I had a connecting flight from Mumbai to Bangalore whereas shrey will directly go home.

I was finally done packing after about an hour or so. I showered, wore jeans and a poofy white shirt and wore my white converse and with one final look around the room, I closed it and locked it.

I took my luggage down and found nobody in the lobby. Ugh lazy lazy bums. So I decided to go upto shrey's room to check. I opened the door and found him sitting on the bed. His things were packed and ready but he sat on his phone scrolling through something.

When I went closer to him, he looked up at me. His eyes were full of tears.

"Oh baby what happened", I asked and kneeled down in front of him. I looked into his phone and he was scrolling through the pictures we clicked during our little trip to Melbourne.

"I'll miss you", he said sniffing.

"Aww come here", I said pulling him into a hug. He held me tight, scared that if he lets me go I'll be gone forever.

"Don't leave me and go. Come to Mumbai with me", he said snuggling in the crook of my neck.

"I'll come visit you often honey. You can come to Bangalore and stay with me too", I said gently running my fingers through his hair and comforting him.

"Come we're getting late", I said pulling out of the hug.

"Noooo. 5 more minutes", he pulled me closer. This boy has my whole heart and I don't plan on taking it back anytime soon.

"Gimme me a kiss?", He said breaking the hug and pouting. The things he does to my poor little heart. I leaned in and kissed him. Slow and passionate.

"Let's go?", I asked kissing his nose.

He finally got up and took his luggage in one hand and held my hand in the other. He interlaced our fingers and kissed the back of my hand. This gesture will forever be my favourite thing he does.

Now when we went down everybody else was there.

"Are you guys ready let's go?", Surya Bhai asked.

We all took our respective cabs and went to the airport. Shrey held my hand throughout the ride to the airport. Deepak was also in the same car as us.

"Ready to get back to routine life?", He asked me.

"Not really. I don't wanna leave you guys and go but I do have to get back to work", I said with a sad smile.

"It's okay we'll come visit you often", he said giving me a side hug.

"Go away. She's mine", shrey said pulling me closer to him.

"Yes yes I know", deepak laughed.

Once we reached the airport, we finished our check in and finally boarded the airplane. Our seats were beside the window and next to each other. As soon as we sat down, shrey pulled me closer and placed his head on my shoulder.

"I love you aria", he whispered.

"I love you too sweetheart", I said kissing his hair.He fell asleep in a while and I too placed my head on his and dozed off.

I was woken up by someone poking my cheek. I opened my eyes and saw this beautiful baby sitting right behind my seat and grinning at me.

"Hi", I said waving my hand making the baby giggle. Oh my god those cheeks. I wanna bite them. Shrey woke up now and was looking at the kid too.

"I'm so sorry if he woke you up", said the baby's mother.

"It's alright. You're baby is so gorgeous", I said still not getting over how bouncy his cheeks were.

"Haha thank you. Are you guys headed to India".

"Yes we are. We were on a vacation in Australia now we're going back".

"Oh we're going to India for a vacation. Sorry where are my manners. I'm Joyce and this is my son Adam".

"Hello Adam. I'm Aria and this is my boyfriend shreyas", I said introducing the both of us.

"You guys are one gorgeous couple. You guys will definitely make beautiful babies", she said giggling. My cheeks turned red as soon as she said that and shrey gave me a cheeky smile.

"Yes one we definitely will have cute babies just like Adam here", said shrey pulling Adams cheek.

An hour later, we landed in the mumbai airport. Everybody else were staying in mumbai whereas sagar and I had a connecting flight to Bangalore in half an hour. It was time for the goodbyes. The part I hate.

"I'm soo glad you came to Australia Ari. Now stay in touch otherwise I'll have to come to Bangalore and whack you", said Surya bhai hugging me.

"It was my pleasure meeting you aria", said shubman.

"I'll miss you soooo much Ariaaaaaaa", screamed Rahul tackling me on the ground.

"Ouch Rahul. You big fat pig", I said hugging him back. I will genuinely miss this joker.

When it was Deepak's turn he lifted me and turned me around. Something he seems to love doing, "I'll miss you ladoo. I've told you everything. Remember I'm always here".

"I'll miss you too Deepak. I'm so happy I got a best friend in you", I said hugging him.

"Always", he said kissing my forehead.

When it was shrey's turn, he turned away. He wouldn't even look at me.

"Shrey", I said putting my hand on his shoulder. He turned with his eyes tearing up. This time it started flowing down his cheek. I held his face in my palms and wiped his tears.

"I hate saying goodbye so I'm not saying it. I love you so much Aria. More than everything else. So this is an until next time beautiful", he said placing his lips on mine for a short kiss.

"I'll miss you shrey. I love you so much", I said, my own eyes tearing now.

With one last hug we left. Sagar was by my side consoling me.

I turned behind to see them, they all waved back and shrey sent me a flying kiss and whispered I love you. I whispered back I love you too and turned away to get into the boarding area.

Definitely not a goodbye.

Hey guys. This Chapter was so hard for me to write for some reason.
This is not the end of the book btw. There's more to come.
Also I got the covid vaccine today, so I may not be updating for a few days.
