Aria

Once we were dressed we twirled around so the we could see if we needed any touchups.
Scarlett wore a blood red gown that had a sweetheart neckline and it reached her toes. While I chose a simple off shoulder black dress that hugged my curves in the right places and had a pretty high slit which exposed my thigh. It was simple yet elegant, just the way I like it.

"Do you think sagar will like the dress?", scarlet asked looking at herself in the mirror.

"Ofcourse he will. You look amazing scar. If he doesn't then who cares. We dress up for ourselves girl but I'll make sure I'll kick his ass", I said winking at her making her cheeks go deep red.

"Hey shreyas won't be able to take his eyes or hands off you for sure!", she said giving me a smirk.
I wouldn't mind that at all. No Ari. No PDA. Stop thinking about it also.

"Nothing is going to happen", I said quickly turning around to cover my blush when I heard knocking on the door.
Scarlett opened it and I could hear shrey.

"You look really pretty scarlett. Sagar is waiting for you in his room", he said as he entered the room.
I was nervous. I had butterflies in my stomach. Why? I had no damn idea.

When he looked at me he stopped in his track. Boy did he look mouthwatering. I could feel my mouth wide open, gawking at this insanely hot human in front of me . He wore an all black suit which fit him so well that his body looked so freaking good. He styled his hair into perfection and I could see him smirking at me as I shamelessly checked him out. He walked close to me and kissed my cheek.

"Don't look at me like that Ari. It makes me wanna do bad things to you", he said as he continued kissing my cheek and slowly made his way to my jaw and then my neck.

"You look fucking gorgeous, do you know that?", He said not lifting his head from my neck. He slowly flicked his tongue on the sensitive skin below my ear making me moan. The way he makes me feel is something I've never felt before. The spark I felt ever time he touched me was something I cannot explain in words. He pulled away looking satisfied that he got a reaction out of me and kissed my forehead.

"Do not leave my side tonight. I won't mind breaking the jaws of other men if I find them looking at you", he said holding my hand and heading to the door to leave. This is gonna be one long night.

We reached the venue where the gala was happening. It was an open area with a lake beside, beautifully decorated with lights and exotic flowers. One side of it had a small stage with tables and chairs around and the other side was the dance floor.

We took a seat at one of the tables. Shreyas pulled the seat for me to sit like an absolute gentleman and sat beside me. In a few minutes sagar and Scarlett joined us too. Sagar looked really good. He wore a black suit with a red tie that matched Scarlett's dress. Ooh cheeky. I love it. I gave him a sly smile while he glared at me and took a seat beside shrey.

The event started and the emcee spoke about what a successful few days this event was. When the time came for them to felicitate the best paper and the best presenter award I was nervous. Noticing the change shrey held my hand and kissed it.

"Hey. Don't be so nervous. I know you did really well. Let's hope for the best and no matter what the result, you were the best in my eyes", he said reassuring me.

"I know I did well but Im not sure if I was good enough to get the best paper award. I know I won't be upset but this was huge for me. Thank you for being there with me shrey", I said kissing his hand now.

"Always honey", he said kissing my hand back. This is something we seem to be doing a lot. Kissing each other's hand. It's our thing.

"It's now time to announce the best paper award and the award goes to Mr. Sagar Menon from India". I screamed. I literally screamed. This boy did it. Aahhhh. I don't think I would have been this happy even if I won it.

"Fuck yeah", sagar bumped his hand in the air and hugged scarlet.

I jumped on him and hugged him," You did it you dumdum".

"I cannot believe this", he said letting me down and running to the stage and collecting his certificate, check and the tickets for two on a vacation to Maldives for three days. He deserves this. This has to be his first ever achievement and I'm so so proud of him.

The award for the best paper went to someone from south africa. She was an insane person. Her paper and the way she put up her presentation was absolutely mind blowing and I was happy for her.

"We now have a special mention to Ms. Aria Nair from India.", He said as he called me onto the stage. Wow. This was pretty unexpected. Shrey was hooting for me and I knew that even though I didn't win this, I had him with me and with him by my side anything was possible.

After collecting my certificate we all gathered for dinner. It was a feast! With every possible food item to exist, I was so full. Sagar and Scarlett continued eating their desserts. Now I see why they are so compatible. She's like a female version of him but a little bit more sane.

While I was lost in thought I felt a hand grab my waist and I crashed against a hard chest and the smell of perfume hit my nose. Shrey. He always smelled so good.

"Dance with me", he whispered in my ear.

I slowly nodded. He held his hand out for me and I took it. He took me to the dance floor next to the lake and held my hips with both hands while I snaked my hand around his neck. We moved our hips in sync to the music playing in the background, not breaking contact at all. He held me as tightly as possible and I did the same. I never want to let go.

He twirled me around and now my back was pressed against his chest and his head was in the crook of my neck. His hand still held my waist and I held his hand while still slowly moving around to the music.

"You make me a happy man Ari".

"And you make me happy too shrey", I said turning to look at him.

"I'm so glad this happened. I'm so happy I came here with you".

"I'm glad I asked you to come with me. You're my personal cheerleader you know".

"I can be your personal anything sweetheart", he said smirking.

"Shreeeyyy", I whined covering my blush and he laughed.

"I'm actually happy for sagar you know. I hated that guy's guts but now that he's with Scarlett I'm actually happy for him", he said smiling.

"I have no idea why you hated him but okay, I'm happy you don't now. Scarlett is wonderful. I hope they last together.", I said chuckling while shrey bobbed his head up and down with a goofy smile on his face. Aww my little button. Isn't he the cutest.
We danced for some more time and I was tired. My feet hurt from wearing the heels and I was drained.

"Aww you're tired baby. Wanna go back to the room", he asked immediately sensing the way I felt.

"Yes please, my feet hurt", I said trying to walk but my feet were killing me. Shrey suddenly carried me bridal style and continued walking to the car that got us here.

"Shrey let me down. People are watching", I said hiding my face in his chest.

"Good. Let them know you're mine", he said holding on to me.

The car took us to our hotel and he carried me again to the elevator and up to our room. He let me down and opened the door.
Once we got in I rushed into the bathroom and showered and changed into the comfiest shorts and a loose tank top and came out of the bathroom. Shreyas had changed too and was now lying in bed with just grey sweatpants that loosely hung at his hip showing the V of his perfect body.
How am I supposed to sleep next to this.

Pushing the thought away I walked up to the bed and sat down. He sat up too when he noticed me there.

"Shrey I got you something for your birthday", I said shyly.

"You got me a present? Show me show me!", He screamed out like a little girl.

I pulled out the small box of the necklace I got for him and opened it.

"I remembered you telling me about this so I got it for you. Shrey, will you be the yin to my yang?", I asked looking at his face.
He had a huge smile. No not a smile. He was grinning from ear to ear.

"YES! Ofcourse yes!", He said pulling me to him and hugging me. This smile is all I needed to fill my heart with happiness.
I took the black part of the chain and crawled and sat behind him and linked it.

When I sat back in front of him, he took the pendent and kissed it.

"I love it so much Ari. Thank you. My turn now!", He said asking me to turn around.

He pushed my hair to the side and tried to put the white part of the chain. Tried being the key word. He let out a frustrated groan and after a good five minutes he was done. An international cricket player unable to put a chain. I giggled at him, but got no sly response. Before I could turn and look at him I felt his warm lips on my neck again. Kissing and sucking on my sensitive spot below my ear. I leaned back and placed my head on his shoulder as he continued sucking on my skin and his hands found its way on my waist again.

He stopped kissing and lifted me and placed me on his lap in such a way that I was inbetween his legs and my legs were around his hip. He again continued kissing my neck as I let out a loud moan from the pleasure he was giving me. I held on to his hair and tugged it so hard making him grunt.

He stopped and looked me in my eye and then down to my lips. He slowly moved forward and placed his warm plump lips on my mine. I froze. He gently pressed my hips encouraging me to kiss him back. I moved my lips along with his. I clutched his hair in my hand while he slid his hand up my tank top moving his warm hands all over my back. I could feel the electricity between the touch.

He deepened the kiss and now he was kissing me like he was running out of air and I was his oxygen. He slowly ran his tongue on my lips and I didn't know what to do. I sat there not knowing what to do when he bit my lower lip making me gasp and he slid his tongue into my mouth. Now fighting for full dominance he massaged his tongue on mine and finally I gave up letting him take over. Once we broke the kiss we were both panting and breathless.

"I think I need a cold shower", he said getting up and placing me on the bed.

He walked off to the bathroom and I laid there thinking about what we just did. Little did I think that I would be making out with him when I asked him to come with me.
Oh please. You very well knew you wanted to do more than just make out. Shut up brain!

As I was dozing off in the fluffy pillows I felt the bed sink behind me and his hands on my hips pulling me closer to him. I turned to look at him and he pulled me closer so that my head was on his chest, his hands on my waist and our legs tangled.

"Best birthday ever! Good night gorgeous!", He said kissing my forehead.

"Goodnight shrey", I said closing my eyes and inhaling his scent. If I could lay in his arms like this forever, I would do it. Gladly.
