She asked me to be her plus one! Me! On your face Deepak! On your face sagar!
I am super excited for this little trip. She also remembered my birthday! Oh this day keeps getting better.

After the Ferris wheel she ran off to get cotton candy. This girl makes my heart melt.

"Aria stop running off like that", I said laughing and running behind her and held her hand. I love holding her hand. It's so small and fits in mine perfectly.

After a lot of eating and laughing around we walked back to the hotel. I held her hand at all times. This time she intertwined our fingers together and started swinging them. She's way too adorable. When we reached her room she turned around, stood on her toes and kissed my cheek," Thank you for taking me out shrey. I had so much fun".

"No, thank you for asking me to be your plus one! I'm super super excited", I said grinning.

"I can see that shrey. You look like a kid in the candy store", she said booping my nose.

"Okay tell me everything I need for the trip", I totally cannot control my happiness.

"Okay so the hotel has arranged a car for us which leaves at 7 in the morning. It's a 2 hour drive. After we reach there I have the conference at 11am. That's gonna go on for a while and then in the evening there's a small felicitation followed by dinner and dance", she said.

"Woah that's a lot", I said smiling.

"I'm sorry I'm making you listen to lectures on your birthday", she said giving me a shy smile.

"I'm glad I get to spend my birthday with you Ari", I said stroking her cheek.

"I'll see you in the morning then. Goodnight shrey", she said hugging me. Oh how much I love her hugs.

"Goodnight beautiful", I said snuggling in her hair.

I went to my room and started packing immediately . I wonder if sagar is going to come with us. I definitely do not want him to come. Such a pain in the ass. A knock on my my door took me out of my thoughts and when I opened it something smashed my face. I think I gotta duck everytime I open the door. 

"Happy birthday Iyer!!", Screamed everybody.

Shubman and deepak continued smashing my head with cake and whipped cream.

"Guys guys stop! You fuckers!", I said trying to push them away.

"Guys enough let the poor guy go", said sky. Thank you phew.

I tried getting some of the cake away from my face when I noticed Aria and sagar at the door. She came. Oh what this woman does to my poor little heart. She had a small cake in her hand. What is she doing to me gosh! I sound like a school girl looking at her crush! Get yourself together shreyas!

"Happy birthday again!", She said placing the cake on the table in the room.

"Thank you, again", I whispered in her ear pulling her closer to me.

"Okay love birds we'll get going now! Happy birthday shrey!", Sky said pulling me into a hug.

After thanking everyone, they left. I grabbed her hand and pulled her towards me. Her back against my chest.

"Stay", I said hugging her from behind.

"Shrey.. we have to wake up early and leave", she said turning around to face me.
I cupped her face with my hand and kissed her forehead.

"I'll see you in the morning", she said and left. Man I'm falling for her. Everything little thing she does makes my heart do a back flip. After washing my hair and changing I went to bed grinning like a kid. I'm going to be spending the whole day with her. I can't wait.

Aria

I woke to my alarm ringing. Today is the day of the finals and I'm a nervous mess. I saw Shreyas' message saying he'll wait for me in the car. I haven't given him his gift yet. I really hope he likes it. Okay stop thinking about that hot boy and dress up Aria. Chop chop.

I carried my small suitcase with everything I need and went down to the car only to see shrey in the driver's seat.

"Good morning sweetheart", he said getting out of the car and opening the door for me. Aw such a gentleman.

"Shrey this isn't the hotel's car", I frowned looking at the BMW in front of me.

"I know. I rented this car out for us. I'm gonna be driving", he said giving me a toothy smile. I wanna squish him. Every little thing he does makes that zoo in my stomach start running. We got into the car and left for the destination.

The drive was silent except for the music playing in the car. He has a wonderful playlist. A perfect mix of all the best songs ever made. I was looking out of the window when I felt his warm hand on my thigh. I turned to look at him and I could feel the blush creeping on my face.

"You're nervous", he said drawing circles on my thigh. Here come the butterflies again.

"Yeah a little bit".

"Don't be sweetheart. You've prepared a lot for this and you'll give it your all I'm sure", he said holding my hand in his and kissing it. I love it when he does this. I love how warm his hands are and how safe he makes me feel. I smiled at him and turned to look outside the window again.

After a good 20 minutes I was bored! I started to play with shreyas' hand in my lap.
"Hey isn't sagar also selected for this!", He asked.

"Yes yes he is. Did you know that son of a biscuit asked a girl he met at the hotel to be his plus one? I thought Sne and him had something going on".

"Who's sne?".

"Sneha. She's my roomate back in Bangalore. We all work at the same hospital".

"Oh so he does have a girl for himself", he said grinning. Why is he so happy about it.

"Yeah I guess. Why do you look so creepy right now".

"I'm just happy that he won't be after my girl", he smirked.

"Your girl?".

"Aren't you mine Ari", he winked. Okay staaaaap.

"Did I tell you how amazing your butt looks in those pants", he said still looking at the road but smirking.

"Shreyas Iyer! You should not be looking at my butt", I said covering my face.

"If you don't want me to see then that's not  what you should be covering baby", he said chuckling. Ugh I wanna disappear right now.

"You look adorable when you blush Ari. It makes me wanna kiss you", he said placing his hand on my thigh again.

"Shrey stop. Eyes on the road!", I said looking everywhere but him. Oh god. Is this how flirty he's going to be the rest of the trip. I like it but that blush on my face isn't going to stop.

We reached the hotel that they had booked for us and shrey gave the car for the valet parking. We went in to the reception only to find out that we were given only one room. One room for the two of us. One bed for the two of us. Nope. Nada. Not happening.

"This was not mentioned to me before. Can you please check again and see if you could give us 2 separate rooms", I asked the receptionist.

"Ma'am since he's your plus one he's going to be staying with you and you're allotted only one room. That's the order we got", he said.

"Hey what's going on", shrey asked getting our luggages.

"They've given us only one room shrey".

"Ooooolala! We'll take the room. Thank you", he said taking the keys from the receptionist.

I turned to face him with widened eyes.

"Let's go to OUR room baby girl".

Oh mother of Jesus please save me.

This took me so long to write.. Sigh 😪
