Tina: you she said surprised

Neil: yup me he said smiling

Tina: what are you doing so late she asked with a hint of small smile on her face as she leaned against the wall crossing her arms..

Neil smiled and stood opposite her as he also rested his back against the wall

Neil: I came here because I want to hear something from you that I have been waiting for a long time he said

Tina looked down with a smile and then back at neil as she started to roll the apple in her hand

Tina: and I had told you that I will tell you once you come back

Neil smirked and moved towards tina and placed his one hand on the wall that she was resting against with his other hand in his pocket

Meanwhile upstairs avni finished reading few pages and decide to get some water when she noticed the jug was empty and decided to head down to fill it up

Back downstairs near the kitchen entrance

Neil: well what difference does it make...we both are here so just say what I want to he said as he raised his eyebrows with a smile on his face

Avni who was standing on the stairs seen the scene held the jug tightly while her eyes clearly showed the pain which was reflecting in her heart...she felt a cry was about to escape her mouth and decided to head backupstairs

Suddenly Tina's gaze fell on avni as she saw her turn around going back up..she pushed neil away seen avni

Tina:, avni where are you going she asked

Avni closed her eyes and plastered a smile on her face as she turned to face them

Avni: haan woh I came to fill up the water jug and also made my decision she said

Neil: what decision avni?

Avni:to go back to mumbai with tina tomorrow

While tina got happy neil was shocked

Neil: come on yaar avni why are you doing this to me ?

Avni: I'm sorry neil but since tina came back I realised how much I am missing home and now I felt it's best to go back

Tina: I'm so happy.

Avni faked a smile and looked at neil

Avni: tina can you fill up this jug and bring it up as I want to freshen up and get my tickets booked too

Tina: arien leave that to me my friend will book the tickets as she can discount

Avni nodded and turned to head up as she passed the jug to tina when she came near the stairs

Avni (in her head) I'm sorry neil maybe I wouldnt have made the choice to leave but the more time I'm spending with you the more I'm falling for you and then seen you with tina makes my heart pain..it feels like a pile of bricks have been placed on my heart...staying away from you will help me build walls around my heart for you so that it doesnt fall weak

Avni reached to the bedroom and walked straight to the washroom....the tears she was trying to stop finally came out...she looked at herself in the mirror and recalled the position she saw neil and Tina in making her clutch the basin tightly

Avni: don't let it effect you avni...you have to stop the pain somehow because this will be normal now...especially when tina and neil get married... you have to learn to hide your pain and smile as if it's one of the best thing you are seen no matter how much your heart aches
....you shouldn't have talked to him through mails since those years. Somehow it is your fault Avni.....You are reason everything just turned into this. You could have confessed to him in the first place... he definitely would have been mad at you but now this whole thing totally took 180° degree turn ...now the best thing to do is try to keep it the way it is she said to herself while looking into the mirror and turned on the tap splashing water onto her face...

Tina: avni I'm back she said

Avni heard the door closed and turned off the tap as she wiped her face...she looked at herself in the mirror and smiled

Tina: I thought you fell asleep in the washroom she said as she saw avni come out

Both got comfortable on the bed...avni took one of her books and opened a page and was about to continue when tina spoke

Tina: avniii you saved me today she said

Avni: from what? She said frowning

Tina: when we had to order Neil's Ice cream....at that time I was so nervous thar I just didnt know what to do she said

Avni closed the book as she placed it on the side

Avni: dont be tina...it just happened so soon that you just didnt know what to say...once you know Neil's favourite things it wont be an issue

Tina:that is the problem avni I just dont know much about him and I feel that is what will bring the truth out...

Avni: Tina no such thing will happen...see I will tell you neils favourite thing all you have to do is remember it that's it

Tina: avni... avni he has confessed his love to me back home and now is waiting for me to confess but what if he doesnt love me after finding out ...let's just confess the truth to him...it feels like I am actually cheating on him and keeping him away from things which is about him and...tina couldnt continue as avni spoke

Avni: Tina... y are you thinking negative...listen to me...you just said he confessed and is now waiting for you...Besides he always had a crush on you since childhood and when he was going to go abroad with his family he wanted to stay in touch with you...I know that I had replied back but he always thought it was you... after so many years when he met us he recognised you instantly and that shows tina he fell for you because he knows you and this the truth...you are just overthinking...someone cant fall in love with a person who they have never met in person...all these things happen only in stories or movies not in real life... take our example..he fell in love with you bec...but avni couldnt continue as tina spoke

Tina: avni ...what if we are misinterpreting the whole thing...what if he doesnt love me and loves you...

Before avni could reply neil spoke as he entered the room

Neil: who loves who? And who not?

Avni and Tina looked terrified for a sec but suddenly they speak up

Avni:we was talking about a movie she said normally

Neil: which movie he said sitting on the edge of the bed.

Tina and avni looked at each other and then tina turned to neil

Tina:you just dont seem to stop your questioning with many things and keep pestering us with your questions ...so intrusive mr America...I dont like it

Neil: come on I just asked one question and you are getting hyper as if I asked about you. He said making tina gulp

Avni saw this and decided to speak

Avni:ok neil we were actually talking about the movie bareli ki barfi

Neil: oh come on not again Avni I'm tired about this Ayushman khurana thing.

Tina: he has made no harm to you now come on go and sleep so we can sleep too

Neil:you could say that at least nicely he said with a smile that melted both of the girls heart but neil only saw tina expressions

Tin, well this is the nicest now goo

Avni: goodnight Neil

Neil turned to avni

Neil: goodnight avni he said smiling and reluctantly got of the bed and turned to walk out

Tina: aye mr America I wanna say something

Neil:what do you want to say he said getting excited

Tina: good night she said with a smirk

Neil smiles dropped while avni chuckled slightly

Neil:goodnight he said scowling at tina and was about to leave the room but stopped and turned around

Neil: by the way I loved that movie Bareli ki Barfi but felt bad for Raj Kumar rao to some extent....

Avni and tina swallowed hard as they looked at each other while neil gave them a smile and left the room saying good night once again

Avni walked towards the door and peaked her head out to see neil walking away towards his room...she closed the door and came near tina as she sat down on the bed

Avni: tina sleep now and let your negative go away with this night too... you and neil love each other and that is all that matters she said

Tina looked at avni and slowly nodded

Tina: I just hope no such things happen again

Avni:it wont because you will know Neil's favourite things... now sleep

Tina kissed avni on the cheeks and laid down while avni also laid down on her side and turned the lights off...however sleep was far from avni as tinas words kept ringing in her head making her feel uneasy

Avni (in her head) : no no avni...there is only one truth and that is neil is falling for tina or let's say he already has and even tina is falling for him...I wont allow neil and tinas love to break and if such secret has to be kept hidden so be it...I'm ready to bury it in my heart so that two hearts can meet she thought painfully...she closed her eyes to give her strength to face all of this and also that tina and neil love gets stronger

The next day

Neil walked down when he saw avni in the kitchen

Avni:morning she said smiling and forwarded neil his black coffee making the strong smell reach to his nostrils

Neil: damn avni your coffee is just something else now it feels like my day doesnt start without it he said taking few sips

Avni smiled

Avni:well this is the last time you are getting it for now

Neil:y he asked confusingly

Avni: don't you remember? I'm going back with tina today she said smiling but somewhere she didnt want to leave neil

Neil stopped taking sips of his coffee and looked at avni

Neil:you are actually leaving ?

Tina: ofcourse she is said tina who came down and sat on the chair besides neil

Avni:so you will probably get this coffee once you come back

Neil: yaar how can you ditch me like this

Avni: I'm not neil...you Will be back soon too after right

Tina: anyways enough of this...y are you saying such things.... it's not like you wont see us mr America so let's stop and have breakfast so that we can pack as our flight is in the evening

Neil: now avni wont be here to teach me these amazing meals...gosh I will miss all those cooking sessions he said

Tina:oh come on neil you are supposed to think of me leaving you not her..suddenly tina gazed up realising what she said

Neil looked at tina as his eyes held amazement instantly

Neil: why would I tina...we are just friends aren't we? ....he said

however both neil and avni saw a small shadow of hurt in Tina's eyes

Tina: so I am she mumbled looking straight into his eyes while he also didnt look away

Things became a little awkward not knowing what to say

Avni:come come hurry up..you both are eating slower than a snail and if the food gets cold I'm not making it again so chop chop because we surely dont want to be late... she said clapping her hands and gestured both to eat

Neil: there is still time he said

Tina: we know but we still got packing to do especially with all the things that we got everyone. She said

Avni:yes it will actually take us a while to pack things and also the airport is a little far so we will have to leave early she said making tina nod and Neil sulk

Once 3 of them finished breakfast avni and tina started to pack while Neil had to attend a conference call so he wasnt able to be with them at that time

Around 4:30pm avni and tina had decided to leave and Neil decided to drop them off

On the way to the airport the ride was quiet with only the music playing in the background.

Around 5:45pm they had reached to the airport and neil helped with placing the luggage on the trolley as 3 of them headed in

Tina had managed to get avni tickets booked with the help of her friend so there was no issue with them checking in

Tina: aye mr America y are you quiet she asked as they waited to get boarded in

Neil:just getting useto staying alone he said shrugging his shoulders trying to sound casual

somewhere avni was able to notice he wasnt happy with been alone and she thought it must be because tina is going away

Tina: awwww she said pulling his cheeks and giggled making him laugh slightly

Neil:I know we will be meeting soon but I will miss you he said looking at tina and then at avni and somewhere avni heart skipped a beat as she didnt expect him to look towards her when he had said that

Suddenly their flight announcement was made and all 3 got up

Neil: chalo both of you give me a jadu ki jappi he said opening his arms

Avni and tina smiled and moved into his arms giving him a hug and after few secs they moved away

Tina:see you soon mr America she said softly making neil smile

Avni: bye neil...take care she said smiling

Neil: you too...

Avni and tina started to walk away while neil watched them go but he didnt know why but he felt as if something really important is going away from him

Hey guys I know the last update was in feb and since then I haven't been updated frequently but I just had things going on and was all over the place and I'm really sorry for keeping you all waiting
