Around 4:30pm avni and tina had decided to leave and Neil decided to drop them off

On the way to the airport the ride was quiet with only the music playing in the background.

Around 5:45pm they had reached to the airport and neil helped with placing the luggage on the trolley as 3 of them headed in

Tina had managed to get avni tickets booked with the help of her friend so there was no issue with them checking in

Tina: aye mr America y are you quiet she asked as they waited to get boarded in

Neil:just getting useto staying alone he said shrugging his shoulders trying to sound casual

somewhere avni was able to notice he wasnt happy with been alone and she thought it must be because tina is going away

Tina: awwww she said pulling his cheeks and giggled making him laugh slightly

Neil:I know we will be meeting soon but I will miss you he said looking at tina and then at avni and somewhere avni heart skipped a beat as she didnt expect him to look towards her when he had said that

Suddenly their flight announcement was made and all 3 got up

Neil: chalo both of you give me a jadu ki jappi he said opening his arms

Avni and tina smiled and moved into his arms giving him a hug and after few secs they moved away

Tina:see you soon mr America she said softly making neil smile

Avni: bye neil...take care she said smiling

Neil: you too...

Avni and tina started to walk away while neil watched them go but he didnt know why but he felt as if something really important is going away from him

At Night. avni and tina had reached back to mumbai

as they collected their belonging they walked ahead to see shekhar, prakash and ashish had come to collect tina,
both the girls waved at their father and walked ahead while ashish, prakash and shekar was surprised to see avni with tina

Ashish: hey sweetie pie I hadn't expected you to be back so soon he said hugging avni once she moved to him while tina moved to hug shekhar

Avni: neither did I papa but see how good your night is after seen me back she said smiling and moved to hug shekar while tina moved to ashish

Avni then moved to hug.prakash followed by tina

Tina: well you can thank me for that uncle as avni couldnt deny coming back with me since she loves me a lot she said winking at avni who chuckled

Shekhar: avni any news after the interview?

Avni: not yet shekhar uncle still waiting..they had mentioned it may take some time

Prakash: well whatever the result is be happy with it he said while avni nodded

Tina: can we please leave from here and continue talking in the car please she said crossing her hands

Avni:let's go she said linking her hand around tina arm while the men collected their bag

Meanwhile back in shimla once neil had returned back from the airport he got himself busy into finishing his presentation and decided to order food

As the delivery came neil sat down on the sofa with his take away food on his lap and turned on the tv...as he made himself comfortable his gaze moved to the seat besides him and recalled how he and avni would watch tv together while having snacks...a smile formed on his face remembering those lovely moments that he and avni had spent in shimla

Neil: I never knew you would become such an amazing friend avni... I miss you and the time we spent here he said looking at the empty seat with a smile...shaking his head he started to eat his food

Back in Mumbai

After 20 mins avni and the rest had reached to metha mansion to see neela and shweta chit chatting with daya and bebe outside with a cup of tea in their hand as they continued talking when they heard footsteps and turned to see the rest walking while avni had hidden behind the men

Neela: tina how was your stay in shimla?

Tina: it was good neela ma she said smiling

Shweta: how is avni...oh how can I forget to ask about neil she said teasingly to which tina tried to control her blush

Tina: y dont you ask avni yourself how she is she said to which neela and shweta looked at tina confusingly

Neela:matlab?

Avni: she means you can ask me face to face she said coming out from her hiding spot while neela, shweta, bebe and daya were surprised

Avni moved to hug them along with dayawanti and bebe while they also enquired about her job interview and her stay in shimla

The next day in shimla

Neil had woken up and went to freshen up? As he came out of the washroom he dried his hair with the towel and then threw it on the side somewhere and headed to the kitchen to make breakfast.

Neil: come on Neil time to make your own breakfast..you can do it just like how avni taught you he Said.

He decided to have toasted bread and coffee...as he placed his bread in the toaster he started to make coffee till then...
It had been 10 mins since neil was still on the verge or making his 3rd cup of coffee since he failed the other two cups badly while he toast sat in the toaster waiting to be taken out...as he took a sip of his 4th cup of coffee he moved the cup away as he rubbed his forehead getting a little irritated

Neil: y am I not able to make coffee properly...I'm trying to make it the way avni made it for me but I'm just not able to he said in a irritated tone

He then took small deep breath and decided to order coffee from a cafe instead

In mumbai

Avni took a sip of her coffee and savored the taste closing her eyes..a small smile came on her face recalling her morning with neil as they enjoyed having breakfast together...avni opened her eyes when Tina came and pecked her cheeks as she sat down next to her who came with shekar to have breakfast with them

After some time as the elders got busy with each other avni and.tina sat far end in the living room

Neela: chocolates she asked coming over with a tin of celebrations

Avni took one while Tina denied

Avni placed the chocolate in her mouth and close her eyes enjoying the taste when she recalled her moments with neil at the chocolate factory and how he mentioned about giving tina the chocolates making her open her eyes instantly

Avni: tina

Tina: hmm she said while messaging her dance group on what's app

Avni: I need to tell you something that I remembered

Tina: what?

Avni: neil thinks you love chocolates and decided to buy you freshly made chocolates in fact he already did

Tina who was texting stopped as she heard what avni said and looked directly at her with eyes wide

Tina: what!

Avni: shh she said looking at the elders who were sitting at the far end and then back at tina

Tina: avni you know I dont eat chocolates

Avni: I know but I had written it in the email that I love chocolates

Tina: and Neil thinks tina loves chocolates she said rubbing her forehead

Avni: tina I'm sorry I actually didnt know this would happen and neil would buy you chocolates....tina neil has no idea about this otherwise things could get complicated if he gets to know

Tina: I dont think he will give it because if he had to he would have given it to me in shimla which he didnt so it could be that he has forgotten

Avni: I dont think so

Tina: maybe he has dont think too much about it

Avni: we have to handle it somehow...i just hope Neil has forgotten as you said

Tina: yup and even if he has bought chocolates it's not like he will announce it to everyone..
Avni just dont stress yourself out by thinking about this ok

Avni nodded slowly

Avni in her head: neil can never forget anything about the email tina but somewhere I just hope he has forgotten about this chocolate thing

A week later

Luckily it was a Sunday where all usually spend the day at the metha mansion....however in the morning the men had gone to check on how reparing work was going on at the Khanna mansion

Neela and shweta were busy in the kitchen while bebe and dayawanti had gone for their usual walk at 4pm while tina had gone for her dance rehearsal and avni busy with her books

Ashish: neela can we have some tea please he said loudly

Avni who had fallen asleep got startled when she felt something or more likely someone on her...as she opened her eyes she saw tina smiling at her

Tina: time to wake up sleepy head otherwise you wont be able to sleep at night she said pulling avni up on the bed

Avni: what's the time she said rubbing one of her eyes lightly as she closed her book with her other hand

Tina: its 4:10pm

Avni: you came back early from rehearsals?

Tina:haan our prop that had arrived was damaged so we wasnt able to rehearse properly

Avni:I see

Tina: good you see now come on go and wash your face

Avni: ok ok

After few mins avni and tina came down and sat with the elders in the lawn...as all were chit chatting when they heard a loud noise inside the house....at first they thought something must have dropped but then they heard another sound

Neela: what's happening ? As far as I remember we didnt leave anything to drop like that she said

Prakash: did anyone come from the main door?

Ashish: no yaar I had closed it and maa and bebe wont be back till later on so it cant be them otherwise they would be calling us

Avni: um instead of thinking what, how and why the sound came we might as well go and check

Tina: now someone is talking sense she said

Shweta: let's go then

All walked in to the hall when suddenly neil came out of nowhere making shweta, neela, avni and tina jump and scream

Neil: surpriseeee he said with a wide smile while all 4 still had their hand on their chest

Shweta: tilluuuuu who scares anyones like that?

Neil: what? I didn't scare you all... it was a suprise not my fault if you all get scared so easily

Tina: we are not scared.... your way of surprising us was just like you...weird

Neil: didnt you like my surprise entry he said tilting his head to one side as he looked at tina while she tried to control her smile from getting big

Shweta: ahem ahem...haan haan you probably planned to give a suprise to tina after all why would you Give it to all of us she said teasingly

Tina smiled while Neil scratched the back of his head and avni looked down with a small smile

Neil: come on mom you know I missed you all he said

Ashish: if that's the case then come on give us a hug he said moving towars neil followed by prakash and shekhar

Neil then moved to hug shweta and neela and then followed by avni and tina as he gave them a hug together

prakash: neil hows the work going in shimla he asked as all sat down

Neil: it's going good dad but it does feel good to be back where everyone is

Neela: did you enjoy shimla?

Neil: enjoy? Aunty I loved it in fact I dont think I would have been able to enjoy and love shimla if avni had not come...in fact as avni left with tina I was missing avni a lot because the amount of time we spent in shimla was just amazing...and you know the funny part is that I dont believe we never was in contact with each other all these years but now see where we are...avni is one of the best company to have and it feels like we have been speaking for years he said looking at neela and then at avni with a small smile

Avni was surprised with what neil said...she felt her cheeks heat up when neil said he missed her whereas tina coughed as soon as neil said the last bit..
Avni came out of her all happy bubble and looked at tina

Neil:so you all got the gifts that me and avni bought you all?

Shweta: haan avni gave it to us it was lovely

Neil:well I'm glad you all did me and avni went around so many places and thankfully we found something for all of you but I have something else to give to tina

Tina: me? She said frowning as she looked at neil and then at avni both sharing the same doubt

Neil got the gift bag that he had placed down and handed it to tina

Tina: what's in this she asked nervously

Neil: see for yourself

Tina looked at neil and then took the box out of the bag which had a beautiful design but seen the chocolates on the box confirmed hers and avni doubt

Neil: open it and see he said

As tina slowly opened the box all the elders were surprised seen chocolates

Neil:I know you love chocolates so much that is y when I saw they make fresh chocolates at the factory I knew i had to get you some and I know you would like it.

Shekar: neil its sweet that you got tina chocolates but she isnt fond of chocolate

Neil got confused and looked at tina while avni looked a little worried and was thinking of an excuse when tina spoke

Tina: actually I'm not a fan of chocolates anymore...I useto like them before but for my diet and dance I had started to maintain myself so the best option was to quit it ....I'm sorry i had forgotten to update you

Avni: sorry neil it's my fault too...if I had known you was getting it for tina when we was at the chocolate factory I would have told you but you told me when we reached to the apartment so it was a little late hence I stayed quiet

Ashish: no worries I'm here for the chocolates give it to me

Neela: ashish..neil got that for tina not you

Ashish: but tina wont be eating it so i can

Neela: that's for tina to decide not you she said looking At her husband behave like a child

Tina:Neil it's very sweet that you got this for me but is it ok if i share this with everyone

Neil: ofcourse y would I mind he said however he was feeling a little odd with this news

Ashish: god this tastes so amazing

Neela: you find everything amazing

Neil: acha where is bebe and dadi

Avni: they have gone for their walk should be back soon

Neil: great have you both got any plans for later on

Both Avni and tina shook their head

Neil: good so let's go out then

Avni: um you and Tina continue I'll stay home

Tina smiled thinking she and neil would get to spend some time alone but soon the smile slowly left her face when neil spoke

Neil: come on avni let's enjoy...and if you say no again then I'm canceling the plan for us and I'll also assume that you dont consider me your friend...tina tell avni

Tina : Neil If she doesnt want to come how can i force her she said slightly disappointed that avni might join them giving her less chance of been with neil alone

Neil: of course you can force her she is your friend too

Avni: you both please dont start I'll come but only on one condition

Neil: which is?

Avni: let's go to the club

Tina: club?

Ashish: since when did my daughter start to do things I love he said making everyone chuckle

Shekar: you kids continue while we go back to chilling he said as a the elders went Back to the garden

Neil: avni club? He said repeating what tina said

Avni:haan club if you are up for it then I'll come otherwise not

Tina:done then what say neil ?

Neil: if you both are happy then why would I mind club it is then

Avni smiled

Avni in her head: this is the best option been in a crowded place like this will not make me look like a extra between neil and tina and they can spend some time without me been near them

Tina:avniii come let's get ready at my place I have some amazing outfits

Avni: tina I do have clothes

Tina:haan but not something to wear at the club

Avni:and I'll only wear something comfortable

Tina:haan haan I know oye mr America see you at 6:20pm at my house

Neil: alright see you soon he said as he watched tina and avni walking away and then walked towards his room
