Neil:avni shall we go out for dinner or order something

Avni looked at neil and then replied

Avni: neil I would only go for dinner with my Man once I meet him, not any other guy ..

Neil's smile vanished as soon as he heard that

Neil: you know avni...when tina use to send me emails at that time she had written the exact same thing to me that you had said now when I actually had pranked her saying I had gone out on a dinner with one of my female colleague just to make her a little jealous....you know sometimes I get confused as you both are sometimes the same and sometimes not...I guess that is why you both are besties...no wonder why you understand her so well

Avni had an uncomfortable look when he mentioned about the email...if neil only knew the words were the same because it was her only who had written it in the mail at that time too.

Avni: um neil about dinner lets decide when we reach home ok ?

Neil nodded and both carried their bags to the car and placed it inside

After reaching to the apartment neil and avni Took the bags and headed inside and placed it in the hall while avni went to get some water

Avni: you want some water Neil ?

Neil: yes please

Avni filled up some water and headed to the hall to give him a glass

As she handed him the glass suddenly the door bell rang

Avni: I'll go and see

Neil nodded

As avni opened the door she went still for a second

Meanwhile inside

Neil:, who is it avni,?

hearing no response neil got up and headed to see who was at the door to see avni still standing there making neil frown as to y avni was standing there

As neil neared he looked towards to the door and froze

The scene shifted outside the apartment where stood tina in her crop top and Jean's with a thin cardigan smiling at neil and avni who just stood still

Tina: why are you both standing like an statue...I mean I know I am beautiful and hard to resist but come on you should be over it by now

Avni and neil looked at each other and at the same time they spoke

Avneil: tina ? They said together just to confirm if she is actually at the door

Tina looked at both of them and smacked her forehead

Tina:haan tina..as in me is here only...seee she said pinching both of them on the arm

Avni:, tinaa you was coming and you didnt even let us know she said

Avni was about to take a step to hug her but before she could do that neil made the first move and hugged tina as he lifted her up slightly turned her around in circles

Neil: gosh tina do you know how happy I am to see you he said making Tina giggle...avni clasped both her hands together as she forced a smile on her face but from inside she was feeling uncomfortable but also there was a pain she was feeling the same type of pain she feels whenever neil talks about tina

Tina: mr america calm down and put me down she said

Avni looked at neil and tina and how he twirled her...somewhere she wished that if she was in the place of tina....she suddenly looked up when she heard neil speak as he put tina down

Neil: I still am not able to believe that you are here..right avni he said as he stood close to tina

Avni: yeah...it actually is she said

Tina: even I was excited when I was coming here as I wanted to keep it as a suprise for both of you she said moving to avni and gave her a side hug as avni placed her hand on top of Tina's

Neil: acha let's go in and then talk come...

Tina: yess she said dragging avni with her inside while neil picked up her small bag and closed the door walking to where tina and avni sat down

Avni: by the way how comes you came suddenly ...you didnt even give us a hint she said

Tina: I managed to take a day of and will be heading back tomorrow evening she said

Neil: y so soon? He said sitting opposite avni and tina

Tina:my rehearsals and all...after a lot of difficulty I managed to get a day off

Neil: wah on one side happiness and next sec bad news he said shaking his head

Tina: at least I came na that is all that matters
...right avni

Avni: right she said giving Tina a high five

Neil: you girls are impossible

Tina: you finally realized glad to know mr America

Avni:ok ok now for now can we please think of something to eat

Neil:like what? that is what we was going to think of when miss mumbai queen surprised us

Tina: interesting she said with the way he said Mumbai queen

Avni: Chinese? Is that ok for both of you?

Tina: perfect

Avni: great

Neil:I'll make a call and place the order tell me what you both want

Both tina and Avni gave their order and neil went to make a call to order the food so that It can be delivered.

Tina took a cushion and rested it on avni lap and laid down while avni smiled and started to caress tina head

Neil headed back after few mins... he smiled as he saw the scene although he wanted to spend time with tina he also didnt want to disturb the moment that two best friend was sharing

40 mins later food had arrived ...as neil closed the door he bought and went to the dining table while avni went to collect the glass for the drinks

Tina: good the aroma is making me more hungry she said making avni and neil chuckle as she sat down

Neil: I wish if this much excitement was shown for something else too he said

Tina: well only some things can be seen with such excitement at the right time she said teasingly

Avni looked at neil and then at tina as they started to have their dinner

Neil: time shouldn't matter I guess he said as he took a bite of the cracker

Tina: maybe it should.

Neil: why waste time when it could give someone happiness...

avni held her fork tightly as she somewhere knew what they indirectly were talking about

Tina: because right time is always the best instead of wrong times she said

Neil: you are impossible to understand...avni I wonder how you actually understand tina

Avni: just like how I try to understand you is the same way I do for tina

Neil looked at avni as for a sec he felt there was something hidden into what she said but then looked at tina when she laughed

Tina:, babes this is y you are my bestie

Avni: cant you both eat without these small arguments

Neil:who said its argument he said raising his eyebrows with his charming smile that made avni chuckle for a sec

Avni: ok finsh eating now otherwise food will get cold

Tina:can we then go and have ice cream...I like the combination of cold weather and ice cream.

Avni: you are mad

Tina: that is what you think but what tina does is always unique

Avni: ok tina devi ab come on eat

Neil: ice cream treat is on me he said while the girls nodded

Once after dinner all put on their coats and hats and headed outside while neil locked the apartment

Tina, neil and avni walked to the ice cream stall that was near by...Tina was walking on the left with Neil in the middle and avni on the right.

tina was talking about her dance rehearsals and how many more performance she has coming up and all

As they reached to the ice cream stall tina spoke

Tina:let me order first...can I please have a...but before she could continue neil spoke

Neil: tina...how about you place everyone's order too as you know everyones flavours especially mine since you know it very well he said with a teasing smile

Tina looked at neil nervously and shared a look with avni who was standing behind neil.

Tina:umm ya of course I do...I'll...i will just place it....she said smiling now and then but that smile was filled with nervousness

Neil: ok go ahead he said

Tina tucked a strand of hair behind her ears as she started to place the order starting with hers

Tina: can I have strawberry ice cream with some sprinkles, chocolate ice cream (for avni) and neil why dont you try some other ice cream instead of your favourite one she said hoping neil will agree

Neil: nope I prefer that one only he said

Tina nodded and then looked at avni

Tina: can I also have a...she took few secs and smiled nervously at neil and then at avni

Avni: tina come on we dont want to spend the whole night here just order Neil's favourite Blackcurrant ice cream with berries topping...she said while neil turned to look at avni and then turned to face tina when she spoke

Tina:yes avni I..I was just about to she said with a nervous laugh...neil for a sec noticed it but then he shrugged his thoughts away thinking he misunderstood.

As they were eating their ice cream tina was talking while both neil and avni were listening but both laughed at something that tina had said...as avni turned to look at neil causally she saw how lovingly Neil was looking at tina while his ice cream was hardly eaten

Avni: neil

Neil: haan he said as he turned to look at avni while tina also turned her attention to avni

Avni:y are you not eating your ice cream?

Neil: maybe because my happiness is on the next level he said looking at avni for a sec and then moved his gaze to tina who smiled inwardly while avni looked at neil and then at tina

Tina: and y is your happiness on the next level mr America she said as a small smile played on her lips as she pretended to focus on her nails

Avni looked at tina as she said that as her hands held her empty ice cream tub tightly

Neil: you seriously want to know he asked with a small smirk on his face

Avni was feeling suffocated

Avni: it's getting cold... I think we should head back now she said getting up as she turned her back towards tina and neil

Tina: haan besides I'm also tried too she said

Neil: well if you both have decided then let's go then he said

This time on the way back avni was walking in the middle while tina had wrapped her hands around avnis arm while neil was walking on the other side of avni with his hand in his coat pocket

Tina: avniii your interview has finished right

Avni: haan

Tina: and I'm sure you also did some shopping too

Neil: correct with some sightseeing too with the great neil khanna

Avni smiled as she looked at neil

Tina: that is what you think...so in short everything is done right

Avni:haan but why are you asking as you know all this right

Tina: that is because I was thinking y dont you come back with me tomorrow

Hearing this neil looked at tina as he slowed down his steps

Avni was about to reply back when neil spoke before her

Neil:y?..avni and tina stopped and turned to neil who was standing behind them

Tina: because her work is done and everyone misses her especially me

Neil: doesnt anyone miss me?... nobody values me he said dramatically making tina roll her eyes and avni smile

Tina: stop the drama mr America

Neil: it's not a drama it's a fact..in these few days I got so useto her company...so she will stay otherwise I will be alone and also who will teach me how to make tasty food he said making avni and tina chuckle

Tina: its s a matter of few days only and then you would be back soon na

Neil: exactly my point it's a matter of few days and she will come back with me

Tina:look neil you are not understanding

Neil:no you are not understand he said

Avni looked at both of them and shook her head

Avni: guys chill

Neil: what chill she is throwing bombs in the name of surprises...avni yaar just tell her you are not going

Tina: y are you deciding let avni decide na

Avni: I will tell you both in the morning ok

Neil: no worries take your time and nobody is forcing you to go

Tina: you are mad she said as she started to walk taking avni

Neil: haan that I am and you also know what I'm mad about he said to himself and smiled as he catched up with them

Avni tina and neil were walking together again but as avni received a call from neela she slowed her steps down but wasnt able to hear neela properly.

As neil and tina started to walk ahead...avni cut the call and was trying to call back while been two steps behind tina and neil

Neil leaned towards tina ears as they walked

Neil: tina...y do you tell avni everything that we have spoken about in the emails... I dont like that as its our special conversation...you could keep certain things hidden na

Tina:like? She said nervously

Neil: for instance... avni knows my fav ice cream as you told her along with many other things... this is wrong he said in a playful manner

Avni who couldnt get through neela was trying to call her since then but she had stopped calling neela when she had heard what neil was saying..and somewhere she wasnt happy hearing that as she knows how possessive and protective neil is sometimes

Tina got a little nervous when neil moved away as she started to think what will happen in the future because avni has always saved her whenever neil has spoken about the emails and if avni continues to save her like this then it will surely make neil angry as she felt that as he bought it up.

Tina turned towards avni and gesutred her to catch up while avni nodded with a small smile

As they reached to the apartment tina and avni said goodnight to neil and headed to the bedroom as tina was going to sleep with avni while Neil went into his room

Later on tina had gone to take a shower and came out after some time

Tina: avni I'm going to see if there is any snack or anything... you want something?

Avni: no thanks tina she said as she was engrossed in reading one of her books

Tina nodded and headed downstairs to go to the kitchen ...she was looking around and found an apple...as she picked it up she was heading to the entrance of the kitchen when neil came and blocked way

Tina: you she said surprised

Neil: yup me he said smiling

Tina: what are you doing so late she asked with a hint of small smile on her face as she leaned against the wall crossing her arms..

Neil smiled and stood opposite her as he also rested his back against the wall

Neil: I came here because I want to hear something from you that I have been waiting for a long time he said

Tina looked down with a smile and then back at neil as she started to roll the apple in her hand

Tina: and I had told you that I will tell you once you come back

Neil smirked and moved towards tina and placed his one hand on the wall that she was resting against with his other hand in his pocket

Meanwhile upstairs avni finished reading few pages and decide to get some water when she noticed the jug was empty and decided to head down to fill it up

Back downstairs near the kitchen entrance

Neil: well what difference does it make...we both are here so just say what I want to he said as he raised his eyebrows with a smile on his face

Avni who was standing on the stairs seen the scene held the jug tightly while her eyes clearly showed the pain which was reflecting in her heart...she felt a cry was about to escape her mouth and decided to head backupstairs

Suddenly Tina's gaze fell on avni as she saw her turn around going back up..she pushed neil away seen avni

Tina:, avni where are you going she asked

Avni closed her eyes and plastered a smile on her face as she turned to face them

Avni: haan woh I came to fill up the water jug and also made my decision she said

Neil: what decision avni?

Avni:to go back to mumbai with tina tomorrow

While tina got happy neil was shocked

Neil: come on yaar avni why are you doing this to me ?

Avni: I'm sorry neil but since tina came back I realised how much I am missing home and now I felt it's best to go back

Tina: I'm so happy.

Avni faked a smile and looked at neil

Avni: tina can you fill up this jug and bring it up as I want to freshen up and get my tickets booked too

Tina: arien leave that to me my friend will book the tickets as she can discount

Avni nodded and turned to head up as she passed the jug to tina when she came near the stairs

Avni (in her head) I'm sorry neil maybe I wouldnt have made the choice to leave but the more time I'm spending with you the more I'm falling for you and then seen you with tina makes my heart pain..it feels like a pile of bricks have been placed on my heart...staying away from you will help me build walls around my heart for you so that it doesnt fall weak
