As he neared them he walked past avni not noticing her while the smile fell from her face as she recalled his words from his email

"I know for a fact when i see u i will recognise u straight away. "

Neil:Tina right

Tina:yes how did u know

Neil:well tina is beautiful so obviously u will be tina

Tina:chessy Mr America

Neil:I'm from London so y America

Tina:because I said so

Avni smiled looking down not letting it effect her and stood next to tina

Avni:hi neil

Neil :hi...avni right

Avni:yh

Neil:u both have grown up

Tina:haan and u r still a child

Neil: that toh I am he said taking a step closer to her while avni and Tina smiled

Ashish:bacha party shall we go we have a pooja in few hours too

Tina:puja not again

Ashish:oh yes bacha... puja again chalo no

Tina:ok but first I need to go and get something stunning to wear chal avni

Ashish: Tina... dont take long ok

Tina:dw I wont uncle that is y I'm taking avni with me she said naughtily

Neil watched Tina with a smile

Tina:bye Mr America

Neil:bye he said looking at her with a boyish smile

Avni:bye Neil

Neil:bye avni he said smiling warmly at her

As the girls left the rest also left to go home...the Khanna family were going to stay at the metha mansion as when neela was getting the mansion cleaned she had noticed few damages which would take some time

Neil was shown his room along with shweta , prakash and bebe...shekhar left to go his house which was also next door to get ready for the puja

An hour later avni came home. When she heard a tune... a tune she very well knew as Neil had sent it to her years back. I'm sure u all can imagine tere dar par sanam tune

She smiled able to hear it live and was about to head where the tune was coming from

Neela:avni bacha go and get ready as guest and all will start coming for the puja bacha

Avni:uh few mins maa she said coming back to reality and ran to her room.

10 mins later she came down all ready in her simple anarkali dress

As she came down she started to help neela with the last few preparation of placing the sweet and fruit tray near the temple area

As she turned around she was spell bounded seen Neil walking down in a sherwani... her heart started to beat fast as she saw him walk towards her with a boyish smile on his face

Neil:how am I looking he asked ...avni cursed herself for acting like a fool by staring at him

Avni:perfect she said smiling while he blinked his eyes at her

Neil:so where is Tina?

Avni:she would come in few mins getting ready u see

Neil:I seee he said

Shekar: avni beta come here please

Avni:I'll be back she said execusing herself while Neil nodded..

He was looking around the mansion when he noticed frames hanged on the wall... as he neared he smiled seen how it was pics of all them ..he looked at the younger version of him avni and Tina and then looked at the recent pics of the girls along with few of their pics from teenagers and some were taken with the family... he was so busy looking at them when he noticed someone face in the pic and smiled

Neil:so someone finally came to see me he said turning around to see Tina smirking at him

Tina:haan what can I do we Mumbai ppl r very helpful u see she said teasingly

Neil looked at her from head toe seen her wear a fashionable anarkali

Tina:by the way what were u looking at

Neil:ab there r frames on the wall so I would look at them right

Tina:acha.. I didnt even know that thanks for telling me she said teasingly moving away from there going to avni while Neil followed

The puja had started

All were praying while listening to the Pandit ji.

Neil was in the middle while avni was on the right and Tina in the middle

Soon all came forwards to take the aarti ki thali

First all the elders went and then Tina and avni

Neil went last and avni was looking at him with a loving smile watching him do the aarti with so much dedication that despite been in London he hasn't forgotten his culture .

As he was done he turned and smiled looking at Tina who raised her eyebrows

Dayawanti:beta I'm so proud..despite been in London all those years u didnt forget your roots at all..

Neil smiled and as he bent to take dayawanti blessing
he winked at her while Tina and avni were suprised

Tina:Mr America is not even scared of anyone sees him winking... kafi bold hai na she said to avni who chuckled

Avno:Tinaaa

Tina:avniii she said imitating her.

Later during dinner time all had sat at the dining table

While talking to prakash, shekar and ashish Neil would keep looking at Tina who was sitting opposite him next to avni

Whereas avni noticed the way Neil was looking at Tina and smiled looking down at her plate..

Shekar:let's do one thing....its Sunday the day after tommrow

Ashish: acha we didnt know that.. I thought Sunday only come sometimes.. glad to see it coming the day after tommrow he said jokingly

Avni:papa

Ashish:ok ok continue he said winking at avni

Shekar:let's all go for a picnic the weather is also good and we all would be free then

Dayawanti:perfect idea

Ashish:see u have become smart by been with me he said while shekar looked at his crazy friend

Praaksh slapped ashish playfully

Neil in his mind:a day with Tina gosh when will this Sunday come ... he looked at Tina and rubbed the hack of his neck

Avni in her mind: picnic with Neil and the rest.. will get to cherish these memories with him she thought while looking at him and then played with her food while smiling

Tina in her mind: hmm let's see what is so special about Mr America that avni keeps talking about him she thought while smiling at Neil teasingly
