Avni:ok..I got this last one left and then we can eat

Neil agreed while he ate the paratha that avni had given him

Avni: I thought u said we will eat together she said chuckling

Neil : we will..besides this is just like a starter for me he said dipping the paratha into the yogurt and enjoyed the taste

Avni:like it ?

Neil:love it... I'm telling u until I'm here u have to make this

Avni: I wont mind that at all.

After a while avneil sat at the breakfast and started to eat their food.

Neil : by the way avni ashish uncle was saying u have applied to certain places

Avni:haan I have but soon I'll be going to shimla for a interview but at the moment I'm just waiting for their letter

Neil:I see but I thought u said u wanted to start your own business

Avni : that I want too and I do plan to do that but maybe for the future

Neil: well remember if u ever need help this friend of yours is here

Avni: will keep that in kind she said with a smile

Suddenly neil received a call ...he answered it and was speaking to one of his client

Avni: what happened? She asked once he ended the call

Neil: I'll be going to shimla the day after tomorrow for a deal...and then head to london straight from there probably

Avni:oh yh u had mentioned u will be going back after some time

Neil:yup..but how did u know ?

Avni was startled for a sec

Avni: woh tina told me she said coming up with an answer.

Neil: I see...at least she does remember this he said smiling.

Avni smiled at neil

Avni:by the way ready for Tina's performance later on ?

Neil:yup but what time we leaving ?

Avni: I guess around 6pm

Neil :cool he said and started munching on his food...while avni also got busy eating her breakfast too

Neil casually looked up as he was going to take another paratha when his eyes fell on the corner of avni's lip seen a bit of yogurt...he smiled shaking his head and leaned forward

Avni who was eating looked at neil seen him leaning forward smiling while she frowned with her lips parted slowly....she saw his hands move up to her face and then her eyes moved back to his face and then back to his hand and felt his finger land slowly on to the corner of her lips making her roll her hands into a fist as she felt his finger rub on the corner of her lip

Neil:y r u in a rush...eat properly nobody is telling u to hurry up he said sitting down in his seat as he wiped his fingers with a tissue while avni placed her finger on her lips and wiped it

Avni: I was scared what If u take my breakfast too she said teasingly

Neil: point... that could be possible he said and looked at avni as she nodded and both burst out laughing

After few mins both were finally done with their food

Neil: thanks for the amazing breakfast avni i had such amazing food after a long time

Avni:mister keep your thank u to yourself and do u mean to say shweta aunty and bebe never made amazing food for u

Neil: they do but mom and bebe was like tillu I'm not going to make paratha all the time once your wife comes she will make it he said and both chuckled

Avni: how sweet

Neil:haan u will say its sweet as u can cook whatever u want and eat while I have to ask them and while making it they always say this dialogue....u know what u teach me how to cook

Avni:done i promise to teach u

Neil: u r the best

Avni: that I am now come wash your hand till then I'll take all this inside

Neil:wait let me help u he said as avni smiled and nodded

Both took everything inside...once neil washed his hand avni washed her hand and was about to wash the dishes up but neil stopped her

Avni: now what ?

Neil:I'll wash it u dry up the plate

Avni:neil it's fine I'll do it

Neil:u cooked all this when u could have just taken bread or omelette so at least I can do this much right...

Avni:ok sir your wish is my command she said bowing while giggling

As Neil started to wash up avni was drying the plates with the kitchen towel.

Neil looked at avni and started to splash some water on her now and then

Avni: neil stop

Neil:ok he said

As avni started to dry up the bowls this time neil again started once he finished washing up the last spoon

Avni: neillllll she said hitting him with the towel while neil moved away laughing

Avni: u r so mischievous

Neil:and u r so cute

Avni stopped and lookd at Neil with her hand on her hips

Avni: stop buttering and now come on leave the kitchen and let me complete my work

Neil:let me help some more

Avni:no thank u I'll manange u go she said pushing neil out of the kitchen from the back while Neil casually walked.

Neil picked up the flour container

Neil:avni he said pretending to open the lid and throw it on her while avni covered her face

Hearing neil crack up and not feeling any flour on her she glared at him

Avni: neilllllll u r gone she said about to hit him with a wooden spoon but Neil ran away while pulling her cheeks

Avni smiled once he went and touched her cheeks and then looked at him running up the stairs

Avni: u r crazy she said lovingly

Later on in the evening

Neil was finally ready and applied some cologne and brushed his hair again for the last time and left his room to head to avni's to see If she was ready or not...

Meanwhile in avni room she finally had a shower when she realised she didnt bring her outfit to the washroom....she wrapped a towel around herself and came out of the washroom and headed to the cupboard when she heard someone knocking few times on her door

Avni: come in she said while taking her outfit out from the cupboard

As Neil heard avni say come in he entered

Neil: avni if u r read...suddenly he stopped speaking as he turned to his right seen avni near the wardrobe in a towel

On the other hand as avni closed the wardrobe door her eyes widened as she heard neil speak and turned around instantly see him looking at her with a blank look

Both stood silently...avni wanted to run and hide but her feets were not allowing her and on the other hand neil wanted to look away but he he wasn't able to as his gaze kept moving back to her ...neil swallowed hard...there was a feeling inside him which he wasnt able to described...it was something which he hadn't felt for anyone not even tina... neil swallowed hard and avni was nervous due to the way Neil was staring at her now and then.

Avni: do...do u want..anything she said the last bit quietly as she clutched her outfit that she was holding

Neil:woh...I....I thought u...u must be ready so I ... um I'll wait for u downstairs he said giving a quick glance and left the room closing the door while avni felt like she had been holding her breath since neil was in the room...she quickly ran towards the door and locked it while resting against it recalling how neil entered and how things were.

Avni (to herself):its ok avni nothing to worry about it's cool....yes just be normal she said to herself while nodding her head able to feel her rapid heart beats

meanwhile neil was walking down the stairs thinking about what state he saw avni in as he kept getting flashes of her in the towel which he just found weird...he was so lost into his thoughts that he didnt even realise shweta calling him.

Shweta:tillu she said shaking him as he was on the end of the stairs

Neil: huh?

Shweta: what happened where r u lost ?

Neil: nowhere mom

Shweta:haan that is y u couldnt hear me call u all this time...

Neil: sorry what happened

Shweta:nothing has happened...I was calling u like that seen u lost

Neil:mom he said shaking his head and moved away

Shweta:le... what did I say that he left without answering.

After 10 mins Avni was finally ready...as she opened the door she was surprised to see neil standing there.

Avni:Neil u? Have u been here since u left ?

Neil:no I just came back few mins ago

Avni nodded as she came out of her room and both started walking ....avni was walking a little ahead of Neil while he was behind looking at avni as he wanted to speak but didnt know how to say it....he took a deep breath

Neil:avni he said finally calling out to her

Avni:hmm? She said turning around

Neil: actually what happened in the room I mean...im sorry I know it must be awkward and u would be uncomfortable but I'm sorry I didnt mean to walk in just like that as I thought u would be ready and... but he couldn't continue as avni interrupted him

Avni:neil did I ask for any explanation?...no naa then y r u explaining...both of us didnt know this was going to happen and it's ok....u dont need to be sorry ok...now get this serious look of your face it doesnt suit u

Neil smiled and moved forward and hugged avni surprising her

Avni placed her hand on his back as she took in the feeling of him close to her and smiled

Neil broke the hug and placed his hands on her shoulders

Neil: u r seriously a true friend avni...thank u for been so understanding

Avni: ok ab chalo otherwise if we r late for tina performance then she will surely bring the house down after her performance.

Neil: let's go he said excitingly

Avni and neil said bye to the elders and headed to the car

Avni: u dont need your live navigator today

Neil: live navigator please take me to my destination he said with a wide smile while avni chuckled as both got into the car

30 mins later avni and Neil finally reached to where tina's performance was going to happen

As they entered they saw the place fully packed...neil grabbed avni hand making her look at their intertwined fingers and then at him as he made way through people since the place was crowded and luckily they reached to the front

A min later...an announcement was made about the performance silencing the crowd

The lights turned off and after few secs it was turned on to see tina standing with her back facing the crowd with her team members who was going to perform with her

Once the song performance was done all clapped and after a while tina and her team won the performance while Neil stood on the side clapping.

After the performance avni ran to tina and hugged her tightly

Avni: best just like always

Tina:tell me something new she said winking at her while avni slapped her on the arms playfully

Avni:neil even u was amazing I didnt know u sing so well

Neil:thank u so much it's one of my hidden talent u see he said raising his invilsble collar

Avni: well u should use it more often and dancing was on point

Tina: thanks to me after all it was my performance

Neil:which I took part in and it got more fun

Tina:if that's what u makes u happy she said shrugging her shoulder

Avni :acha ab chalo let's go now everyone is waiting at home

Later on once reaching home all congratulated tina

Tina:ok guys I'll be back I'm just going to change she said to everyone who was sitting in the garden.

As Tina was in the hall she was walking towards the main door when neil called out to her...tina smiled and turned around giving one of her naughty smiles

Tina:hmm

Neil: u didnt give me an answer yet

Tina:for ?

Neil: lunch remember

Tina tries to control her smile which was growing...she crossed her hands and looked at Neil

Tina:what if I say no

Neil: I know u wont he said with a smile making tina raise her eyebrows

Tina: so much over confidence

Neil:nope... just been confident he said shrugging his shoulder

Tina nodded and turned around while neil frowned but then he saw her turn around.

Tina:ok then lunch is fixed

Neil smiled and hugged tina and kissed her on the cheeks surprising her...avni saw this from upstairs and went back to her bedroom controlling herself

Neil: thank u so much

Without saying anything Tina was about to leave when neil held her hands

Neil: tina whatever I sang today I really mean those words...u have been on my mind all these years and my heart has only been beating for u...when I was saying I love u ...I actually meant those words and I also know u feel the same to

Tina looks down while smiling shyly and turned away

Neil:tina I love u he said as he turned tina around

Neil cups her face making her look at him

Tina blushes and ran away from there while neil rubbed the back of his neck

Prakash who was standing in the far corner as he had come in to get his phone heard neil say his feeling for tina

Prakash: I have something to say he said walking back to where the elders were

Bebe:what sunny?

Prakash:our neil is in love

Prakash told all of them what he heard while all were shocked and surprised

Shekhar:prakash my daughter is innocent I mean u r rich and...shekhar couldnt speak as prakash slapped his cheeks lightly

Prakash: dont bring money into our friendship...what I am today is because of u all and tina is like our daughter too...now say r u ready to give your daughter to us he said forwading his hand

Shekhar smiled and nooded while placing his hand on top of prakash and both hugged while ashish moved to hug his friends ...dayawanti and bebe were happy and neela hugged shweta

Bebe: it's good that our kids found their love but I guess we should wait for neil and tina to tell us themselves otherwise rest is up to u

Shweta: how about surpise them by finding a good wedding date for them

Dayawanti:that is perfect till then we wont tell them anything

All agreed to that

Meanwhile 3 people were lost in their own world
Avni was thinking about Neil and his feelings which he had for Tina while the emails which she and neil had written to each other which had no sign of tina

Neil laying on his bed while thinking of how Tina agreed to go for lunch and him telling her his feelings and now he cant wait for her to pour her feelings

Tina was laying flat on her stomach as she recalled neils confession making her shy and she covered her face.

The next day

Tina had come to the metha mansion while she frowned seen all give her a teasing look but she ignored it .

Tina: neela ma where is avni

Neela:in her took beta...tina nooded and started walking towards the stairs

Bebe: shweta has neil done his packing for tomorrow...

tina who was walking up the stairs to go to avni room stopped hearing bebe speak and frowned

Tina:packing? She said to herself

Shweta:haan bebe all is done he would be leaving tommrow for shimla

Tina:neil is going shimla ? and he didnt even tell me

Instead of going to avni room she headed straight to neil room and knocked the door

Tina entered and saw him busy looking at a file while his back was facing the other way

Neil Turned around to see tina and a smile came on his face

Neil:hey he said walking to her and saw her facing the other way not looking happy

Tina: u r going to shimla and u didnt even tell me

Neil: but u knew right? I mean avni told me u told her right as I had mentioned it in the email

Tina looked at neil

Tina:but u still could have told me how would I know u was going to go soon

Neil: tina after shimla I may have to go london for sometime too

Tina:- great now u might have to go london too

Neil smiled and turned tina to see her looking upset

Neil: hey I'll be back soon I promise till then u probably could say something which I'm waiting for

Tina:no ...now until u dont come back soon I wont go for lunch with u and I also wont say my feelings until u r back she said leaving the room while Neil smiled shaking her head

Tina walked to avni room and sat on her bed placing a pillow on her lap

Avni who was busy on her laptop saw tina

Avni:what happend ?

Tina: that mr America is going shimla on top of that he tells me he might have to go london too she said

Avni: Tina...dont worry he will be back soon she said smiling

Suddenly avni felt a cushion hit her

Avni nodded while Tina left and avni watched her leave while the smile started to vanish from her face seen tina feelings changing for neil as dje can clearly see tina has started to fall for him

At night avni went to neil room to see him busy with few files

Neil turned towards the door to see avni standing near the door

Neil: heyyy u still awake he said and gestured with his hands telling her to come in

Avni: haan I thought I can give some company to my friend she said and handed him his cup while she sat down next to him near the balcony with the wind was blowing their hair slowly

Both took a sip of their coffee

Avni: ready for tomorrow

Neil: usually dad is there but just nervous not to have him as I dont know how I will handle this big deal in his absence

Avni smiled

Avni:tell me one thing

Neil:what? He said taking a sip of his coffee

Avni: even when prakash uncle was with u... did he help with all the projects once u joined

Neil: nope I would handle them alone while he would accompany me to give me that support

Neil: what happened

Avni: neil...praksash uncle wont be there in person but his blessings will always be with u and he is there in your heart...u dont need him there to support u as his love and blessings will be there to support u...just listen to your heart and u will hear prakash uncle telling u that he is there and just give your best

Neil looked at avni for few secs and chuckled

Neil: how do u manage to do this? He said shaking his head and smiling

Avni:I would but havent received any letter from the company yet sooo she said leaving her sentence incomplete

Neil:it would have been fun...even tina wont be there

Neil:I know but she is upset that I didn't tell her though I had mentioned it in the email as she had told u

The next day all went to drop neil at the airport as he was going to go by flight

Shweta: tillu make sure u eat on time and do call once u reach there and make sure u take rest and...before she could continue prakash spoke

Prakash: shweta ji our son is going for a deal not for a war chill he said

Neil smiled and kissed shweta on the forehead and moved to hug prakash and bebe and then took blessings of the metha family and shekar

Neil nooded and smiled he then turned to where the girls were ...tina was standing with a small smile and avni smiled seen him walk over to them

Avni: good luck for your project neil

Neil: thank u avni he said placing his hand on her shoulder and then turned to look at tina

Tina: bye...avni smiled while neil shook his head

Tina: haan for now only this much the rest would be said once u r back now go

Neil: looks like I'll have to be back soon then he said leaning forward

Suddenly they heard the announcement of Neil's flight

Neil: time to go then atleast u both give me a hug he said pulling tina and avni together

Neil: I love u tina he whispered to tina while avni looked at him with the smile vanishing from her face while breaking the hug Neil looked at Tina while she had a small smile which she was trying to hide while avni closed her eyes for a sec to ignore what neil said and then plastered a smile on

All waved at neil as he walked away

Avni placed her hand around tina shoulder and told her to smile making tina chuckle

At night avni was checking few of her emails when she came across one making her happy as she finally received her interview letter

Avni went to tell the family downstairs who was with tina and shekar

Shweta:le...neil went ab avni will go too..tina u do one thing u go too

Avni: haan tina u also come na

Tina : I wish I was able to but remeber I have few more performance lined up ...so rehearsals and all will be starting so not possible

Avni nodded understanding

Bebe: beta let me inform neil so that he can pick u up and u both can stay in the apartment he has rented

Avni:Bebe no u just give me the address and I don't want any of u to be telling neil as it will be a surprise for him

The family nodded.

As avni reached to her room she danced happily receiving her interview letter and couldn't wait to tell neil

After few days avni finally reached to shimla...she smiled while tere dar par sanam tune played in the bg...

Avni took out the address which prakash had gave her and showed it to one driver who was waiting for her

After an hour avni reached to her destination and smiled that she will see neil ...after few secs she finally knocked the door couple of times

As the door opened she saw neil rubbing his eyes while a big smile was on her face... neil stopped rubbing his eyes and opened it fully to see avni standing there while avni was controlling her laugh seen the way neil was all still seen her
