These feelings are very new to me, never have I ever felt this way for anyone before, let alone the way my heart is overly active all the time nowadays. There is an edgy feeling inside of me all the time. My mind is like in some torment all day. It's as terrible as I am loosing something very dear to me.

Avni what are you doing to me? I couldn't help but grinned like those stupid teenage boys in love.

Confessing to her has become more of a need than a want. I need to spill it out. It's now or never.

He speeded up as he was still cherishing this new found feeling, only if he had known these feelings were there since beginning, since it was always Avni who had been emailing him all these years instead of Tina.

He made the decision to go change before talking to Avni.

Walking into Khanna mansion he was playing with hia car keys as he kept on throwing it in the air.

Shweta and Bebe, who were sitting on the couch getting ready to watch their daily soap saw Neil walking in all in a jolly mood comapared to the morning.

Shweta: Tillu beta. She called out as he reached near the stairs.

Neil: Haan mom. He said turning around smiling at her.

Shweta: How did your dinner date go? She askes teasingly.

The smile on Neils face increased which bebe and Shweta noticed as they both shared a look.

Neil: It was amazing Mom, One of the best. he said as he looked at them and headed up humming a song.

He was thinking about giving his and Tina's relationship another go, but fate had other ideas and sent Avni. The dinner date was undoubtedly fantastic for him. Although he was happy to see her, he never imagined that he would eventually come to realise his feelings for the girl he had been friends with.

As he entered his room, he moved to the tiny table in his room's corner, where a few picture frames featuring all of the family members were arranged.
Placing the keys down, Neil picked up the frame that included him and Avni, made him gaze at her happy face in the picture for a moment. A slow smile crept across his lips, but this one stood out because it was filled with his emotions that he was understanding. He leaned his back against the edge of the table as he continued to stare at her.

Neil: See you soon Avni. He whispered, looking at her picture lovingly, his thumb automatically caressing the smiling Avni in the frame.

After a few seconds he set down the frame and decided to get changed so he could go to the Metha Mansion.

10 mins later Neil came out of the washroom. Putting hia trainers on he left his room and headed down to see Shweta and Bebe engrossed in their daily soap. Without them noticing he headed to the Metha Mansion.

Neil made his way to the Metha mansion. He rang the doorbell and stood outside, waiting for someone to open the door.

Neela: Neil, come in beta she said smiling as she saw him at the door step.

Neil: Thanks Neela aunty. He said entering inside as Neela closed the door.

Neela: Would you like anything to drink?

Neil: No, Neela Aunty, thank you. Actually, I came to see Avni.

Neela: She's in her room; just let me know if you need anything. Smiling at him, she said

Neil: Will do. He said climbing up the stairs while Neela went back into the kitchen.

Neil repeatedly knocked, waiting for Avni to answer. He opened the door slowly and noticed the faint lights inside after failing to get a response. As he closed the door, he noticed Avni on the bed, her back to him, laying on her stomach and holding a book.

Neil: She seems to be reading that book with such concentration. He laughed, thinking to himself.

Taking slow steady steps towards her. He felt his heartbeat fasten as he would tell her his feelings. As he would tell her how he felt, his heartbeat began to quicken. Reaching close to her, he stood there for few seconds battling inwardly what to do next, then with a hearvily beating heart he bent over and too causiously pulled the book away that was covering her face.

To his surprise, he found a sleeping Avni with an adorable pout on her lips. His heart leaped at the very sight. He brought his face closer to hers. With a drumming chest he swallowed hard watching her this close. For few seconds he kept looking at her like some creep, thats what his inner self sniggered at him which he ignored and kept staring at her a little more. Lovingly staring at that mesmerizing face Neil turned off the bedside lamp.

A small gasp blew out his mouth, for a minute he lost his ability to move gaping at the sleeping beauty in front of him. The moon peeking from her window leaving a soft glow ligting up her face, when the cool breeze blew her those few tendrils over her forehead she looked like an angel from heaven. Eyeing at such spellbinding sight he felt like he forgot to breathe, as if his legs got glued to that spot. God knows how long he stood like a statue there.

Realising that he should leave Neil blinked few times before he gained back his sanity with huge gulp and came out of that daze. He had to.

Neil: It appears that tomorrow is when I will have a chance to convey my feelings to you, Avni. How will tonight turn out, I wonder? He whispered as he carefully tucked a strand of her hair lock behind her ear. He let out a huge breath slowly pulling himself away that captivating sight. He needs to walk away this spot now if he really wants to come back tomorrow and spill his heart out to this girl who has abducted his most precious thing. His heart.
