Reaching near her he tapped on her shoulder making all turn their attention towards him.

Avni stood up, hugged him, and then stepped away from him while Tina and the others waved.

Tina: Hey Advay hope you remember me she said.

Advay: Of course, I do. You were kind enough to let me dance with this friend of your. He gestured towards Avni.

Tina: Anytime. Hey why don't you sit with us.

Avni: Actually we have plans Tina. Sorry.

Tina: Come on Avi, I'm not asking you to spend the entire day with us, but a few minutes talking to Advay shouldn't be a problem.

Advay: Right, especially when we're at Starbuck's, he said while sitting down. Avni shook her head, but Tina quickly pulled her wrist, forcing her to sit down.

Tina: What do you want to drink? Consider this a treat from me. She said.

Advay: That's sweet of you. Since it's hot, I'd go with an iced caramel frappe, he said, to which one of Tina's team members went to place the order.

Tina: Thank you for agreeing to meet Avi here at the mall Advay. I know you planned to meet her somewhere else, but shopping was planned unexpectedly, and I couldn't do my engagement shopping without Avi, you see.

Advay was smiling at Tina, but as she said something, a small frown came on his face, and he turned to Avni, who nodded slightly. Looking back at Tina, his frown faded as he smiled at her.

Advay: That was not an issue Tina. Avi is a darling, and no one can say no to her, he stated, smiling sincerely at both of them.

Advay's drink came and he thanked the team member.

Tina: well that is true. This is why everyone adores Avni.

Advay: By the way congratulation for the engagement. It's the guy from the club right? He asked

Tina: Thank you so much and yes it is him, but please do come.

Avni: I don't think he might be free Tina.

Tina: Well, that's Advay's decision. I am inviting him on my and Neil's behalf. She said, slightly shrugging her shoulders.

Advay: Thanks for the invitation Tina. If i can make it then I'll surely come. He said smiling at her.

Tina: Thank you so much. With that lets take picture together.

Before Avni could respond Advay spoke.

Advay: Never say no to taking pics he said.

Avni moved closer to Tina, and Advay moved his chair closer to Avni. All three posed while one of the Tina group members took their picture.

After talking with Tina for a few minutes, Advay and Avni left, while Tina shared the photo on her WhatsApp status and other social media platforms.

Avni and Advay walked to the parking lot while Advay noticed Avni silent.

Advay: Hey. He spoke softly as he held her hand, preventing her from walking. You okay? He asked after a pause.

Avni: Please let's just go somewhere where I can temporarily forget about everything in order to divert my mind.

Advay studied Avni for a second.

Advay: Beach or a movie? He asked

Avni: Anything. Advay nodded and both started to walk towards Advay's car.

Few hours later

Neil sat in his room, clutching his phone tightly. For the past few minutes, his eyes had been stuck to his phone screen, starring at the picture Tina had posted, but his attention was drawn to how Avni and Advay were sitting so close together.

With clenched jaws, he locked his phone screen while resting the back of his head against the chair.

Neil had a feeling about Advay and Avni, and somewhere inside he knew they were only friends.

As he walked near his window, he rested one arm on the side jab and looked outside.

Neil: Despite Avni's constant claims that Advay is her boyfriend, I am certain that they are only friends because Avni has only made such a statement in front of Tina and me. Since her family is free minded and understanding, she would have told them if Advay was actually her boyfriend; but, she has always termed him as her friend when they have questioned her about him. For the time being, Advay can take a backseat since speaking with Tina and Avni should come first.

Time went quick and It waa 7pm.

After hanging out at the beach and having dinner at a restaurant with Advay, Avni returned to the Metha house. Advay didn't give her the opportunity to refuse, so she made sure her family knew not to wait for her to eat. She had been away all day and had woken up early, so she was tired. Avni made the decision to quickly shower before getting ready her work outfit for the following day.

Meanwhile, in the Khanna house. Tina's phone continued going to voice mail despite Neil's continually attempting to reach her. When he turned back, his family was enjoying eating desserts.

Neil: Mom I'm Just going to check to see if Tina has returned.Ignoring the teasing glance his family was giving him, he said.

Bebe: Do you see Shweta. Neil is missing his soon-to-be fiancee and wants to go check on her at this moment. She said playfully.

Neil: Bebe, I need to talk about something with her; otherwise, I would not have gone at this hour.

Shweta: We know what you're trying to do. Go meet Tina so you may feel a little relaxed after not seeing her for the entire day.

Neil looked at shweta while his thoughts wondered away.

Neil: You're correct, Mom. I'd relax if I met her for a few seconds because I haven't seen her since she left, but for me, that girl is Avni, not Tina. Once I've cleared everything out with Tina and Avni, I'll tell you all about my feelings for her. He thought in his head.

Hearing his family laughing he came back to present

Prakash: Go now before Tina falls asleep and you miss your important discussion, he added playfully.

Neil forced a smile and left to Tina's place.
