Okay so here's the thing, I already wrote something for this and then I realized that I left this  story on a cliffhanger and I'm not doing that to everyone who supported this book originally. So I will be writing a short little chapter (tbh it'll probably be shit) and I'm gonna try to tie up the lose ends as best as I can.

     4 years, it had been 4 years since my sisters turned into zombies in the backyard of Alex's childhood home. 4 years since the whole apocalypse had started and this rag-tag group of people, this family had found each other. It was really hard after everyone after they left Alex's old home and the burning corpse of their family in the backyard. Alex and Hadley had their support group in the form of not only the people that went into the beginning of the apocalypse with them but also in the form of older brother/father figures that they had found in the form of Thomas, Jon, Roman, Remus, Remy, Logan, Virgil, Talyn, Joan, Derek, Patton, and Emile. They have become as close as any group that was ever formed and don't hesitate to protect each other. 

      Alex ends up finding their girlfriends barricaded in a McDonald's near his hometown and the group takes them to Canada. They all make it up to the cabin safely and find evidence that Sam had been there. Patton found a note while organizing in his room and hands it off to Hadley for them to read. It explains that he knows about what their dad had been doing and is going off to look for Hadley along with someone named Iris. Attached to his note is his necklace and the note explains that Sam knew Hadley would be smart enough to figure out the code to cure. Which they do, with the help of Logan and much trial and error the cure is recreated. The group knew that they couldn't stay in the cabin forever and they end up going off try to cure the world. It's a big job but they know they can do it. 

     They end up finding Sam and Iris and everyone that was implied to be a couple end up becoming a couple. In the end, they cure many people and are still out trying to cure many more. They find love, platonic and romantic, and forever try to live by a motto coined by Virgil himself, "Be careful, and stay safe!"

Okay, I can't really figure out if that was bad or not but whatever. I hope it was good enough to tie it all together for everyone and I'll truly never be able to express how grateful I am to everyone who supported this story. Stay safe, my darlings and take care of yourselves. <3
