(Alex's POV)

It's been two days since we left the makeshift safe house and we've been taking turns both sitting shot gun (flashback to Thomas' Vine 😂)  and driving. Right now it was Logan's turn to be up front and Hadley's turn to be shot gun while Deciet is up front helping them both navigate. Since we're going to a cabin in the middle of a lake quite a while away from civilization-not that there's any left-everyone is making sure they collect supplies frequently. Currently I'm on the floor with Talyn, Lucy, and Alicia because we wanted to braid each other's hair. Talyn is braiding mine while I braid Alicia's while Alicia braids Lucy's. We decided that a braid would be the most practical hairstyle for this journey. We just got finished braiding hair when felt a bump and lurched forward. Kyle is up front trying to help navigate.

"And I oop!" Remy exclaimed jokingly, "What? Just me? Fine tough crowd."

"Hads, what was that?" Kyle asked worriedly

"Um I don't know. I was looking at the map, Logan?" Hadley replied.

"Well it seems we hit someone." Logan says

"WHAT!!!" Me, Kyle, Thomas, Patton, and Emile all shout.
It was complete chaos for about a minute before Hadley and Deciet told us to shut up. Just then we heard a bump towards the back of the van.

"Ok, who was that." Logan asked sounding like a parent who was DONE with our crap

Everyone in the back denied it so Hadley decided to check.

"No!! Hadley, what if you get hurt.... or worse...." Kyle trailed off

"I'll be ok, I promise." Hadley said with a small smile.

(Hadley's POV)

I left the van to check on the noise was but when I saw the cause of the noise I needed everyone out here.

"Guys you may wanna see this....."
