~First Dates And Storms~

"Wait...I can't wear this!It has a pizza stain!"Beast boy whined.

He sighed and tried to brush it of with a dish cloth.No use.He growled and flung the shirt aside.Beast boy glanced down at his watch and whined.

"Aw man!Rae will be here in like....twenty minutes!Ack!"Beast boy gasped.

Thank goodness he decided to take a shower that day.Beast boy scrambled through his clothes and still found nothing.

"I can't go to the date without clothing!But...."he glanced down at his uniform.

"I can go in my uniform....wait I just need a fresh one!"he cheered.

Beast boy threw open his closet door and just pulled one of his uniforms from it.He quickly undressed and dressed.

"Ready!And I have...."he began,looking at his watch,"Ten minutes!"

He slipped on his shoes and was about to walk out when....he glanced at the mirror.

"Wait!I can't go with my hair looking like this!"he yelped,grabbing a comb from his dresser.

He brushed through his hair several times,then when he was satisfied,he put it down.Before walking out....he saw his teeth in his reflection.

"Wait!"he quickly ran to the bathroom,then zipped the toothbrush over his canines.

"Alright!Now I'm ready!Time to take my lady out!"he yelped.

Beast boy ran to Raven's room,just when he got there,he remembered he left his wallet in his room.

"Shoot!My wallet!"He growled,running back to his room.

When he retrieved his wallet,he ran back,leaning against her door.

"Well....I made it....oh ya forgot!"

He reached into his utility belt around his uniform and pulled out a white flower pin.Beast boy pinned it on his chest and knocked on Raven's door.

No answer.

He knocked again.

This time the door opened,revealing half of Raven's hooded face.

"Oh hey Beast boy.....you look nice,"Raven said.

He smiled and scratched the back of his head nervously.

"Thanks!Now...wait!I forgot!Stay right here!"he yelped.

Before Raven could protest,he ran to his room and got what he needed.When he came back,Raven was leaning on her door.

"Here Raven!For you!"Beast boy said happily,handing her an almost dead rose.

Raven looked at it as Beast boy did the same.She took it and put it under her cloak.

"Thanks Beast boy,"Raven said.

He nodded,"Alright!Let's go!"

Beast boy looked down at her hand and then back at her.

"Um.....can I?"Beast boy asked.

Raven arched an eyebrow and crossed her arms.

"Ok then....that's a no..."Beast boy said,hands behind his back.

"Come on,"Raven said,walking ahead.

Beast boy walked fast to catch up with her.When they made it out without the others seeing,they headed to the restaurant Beast boy for reservations for.

"You got reservations?"asked Raven.

"Yep!Its a really good restaurant,"Beast boy said,smiling widely.

Raven chuckled,"Wow Beast boy.You really had this planned out."

"Ya...."Beast boy said.

When they arrived,Beast boy leaned on the counter.

"Hi!I'm made reservations for Garfield Logan,a table for two,"Beast boy said.

Raven arched an eyebrow as the woman searched through the reservations.

"Yes I found Garfield Logan.....but..."

Beast boy leaned in worriedly,"But what...."

"It seems that you have reservations...."

"And that's a problem why?"asked Raven.

"Well ma'am the problem is that he has reservations for next Tuesday...not this Tuesday...."The woman said,searching once more.

Beast boy groaned as Raven rolled her eyes.

"Um...how long is the wait for a table today?asked Beast boy.

"A three hour wait sir,"She said.

Beast boy looked like he might cry.

"N-Nevermind,thank you,"he said turning around.

"Have a great night sir,"she said as they exited.

Beast boy sighed,shuffling his feet,"Sorry Rae....I'm such an idiot..."

He plopped himself on a bench,slapping his hand against his forehead.Raven sighed and sat next to him.

"It's not that bad,sure you didn't make the right reservation,but I mean...."Raven tried to think of something to say.

Beast boy looked up at her,ears drooping.

"This was suppose to be the best date you've ever been on.I was trying to make this special for you...but I messed up like an idiot...."Beast boy mumbled.

Raven sighed and stood up,"Come on,we can go somewhere else."

Beast boy looked up at her bewildered,"B-but I didn't make any reservations."

Raven rolled her eyes,"You don't have to take me to a restaurant,we can still have a date."

Beast boy sighed and stood up,"Alright."

Raven waited a second,then pulled down her hood.

"And....I guess,"she looked away while she was saying this.

"Guess what?"

"I guess you could...hold..."Raven mumbled holding out her hand to him.

Beast boy perked up as he grabbed her hand,intertwining his fingers with hers.

"Now!Let's go to that date!"Beast boy cheered,looking down at their hands.

Raven smiled and rolled her eyes.

"So....where are you going to take me?"asked Raven.

Beast boy thought for a moment,then gasped.

"Hey....I have an idea!Let's go!"Beast boy exclaimed.

He dragged her along,taking her to her date.

"Are your eyes closed?"Beast boy asked.

"Ugh yes Beast boy,they're closed,"Raven grumbled.

"Ok!Now you can open them!"Beast boy cheered.

Raven opened her eyes and gasped.They were at the park,the moon's rays beamed down on the lake,causing it to sparkle and glisten brightly.Beast boy bent down and picked a bright purple flower.He then turned to Raven and moved her hair behind her ears.Beast boy smiled before placing the delicate flower in her hair.

"Thanks Beast Boy,"she sad happily.

He then lead her down to the lake,their hands still connected together.Beast boy sat down on the soft grass and pulled Raven along.He picked up a flat rock and showed it to her.

"Watch,"Beast boy said before tossing it across the lake.

Both watched it skid across the surface of the water,then it delicately sunk to the bottom.

"Skidding rocks?Sounds easy,"Raven said,picking up a flat rock.

She tossed and watched it slid across the lake.They both did this for about ten minutes,then stopped when they heard a rumble from a above.Raven looked up as Beast boy did the same.Thunder roared loudly as rain drops splattered all over them.

"Oh no..."Beast boy mumbled

Both standing up,the rain got heavy,soaking them completely.Thunder boomed in the distance as both titans scurried to the tower.Before they could,Beast boy slipped in the mud,grabbing Raven's cloak when he fell.Dragging her along,she fell on Beast boy,mud splattered all over her cloak.

"Beast boy!"she yelped.

"Sorry!"

Raven flipped over,wiping the mud off her face with her hand.The rain made it worse.Beast boy watched as a devious smile formed on his face.

"Hey Rae....have you ever played mud wrestling?"asked Beast boy.

Raven's eyes widened as she tried to scoot away.

"Oh no Beast boy...don't even think about it!"Raven warned.

He didn't listen,he tackled her,grabbing her by the waist.

"Beast boy!"

Beast boy didn't let go,Raven flipped over along with him.She grabbed a hand full of mud and splattered it all over his face.He gagged while letting go.Raven hopped up,but the mud caused her to slip and fall on the wet,muddy,grass.Raven was laying on her back,Beast boy crawled over to her.He sighed and lied next to her.

"Well,this date was a total bummer,"Beast boy grumbled.

Raven turned her head to him,feeling the raindrops hit her forehead.

"I had fun,I just need to take five showers now,"Raven chuckled.

Beast boy turned his head to her,"Really?You had fun?"

Raven nodded,"In fact,your not going to cancel those reservations for next Tuesday are you?"

"No why?"

"Well,making you can take me there for our second date,"Raven suggested.

Beast boy's eyes lit up as he scooted closer.

"So....are we.....a thing?"asked Beast boy nervously.

Raven smiled and looked back up at the sky.

"You mean are we a couple?"asked Raven,turning back to him.

"Uh-huh."

Raven scooted even closer,so that their bodies were touching and their noses were just a couple inches apart.

"Yes we are....boyfriend,"Raven chuckled.

Beast boy smiled brightly and kissed her cheek happily.

"So...do we get to do couple stuff?Like kiss all the time,sleep in the same bed,hold hands,tell each other we love one another,cute couple names?"he asked,waggling his eyebrows.

"Um,I think we'll have to wait until our relationship is a little more,you know,closer,or until we start dating for like two months,"Raven said.

Beast boy frowned and crossed his arms,pouting.

"We've only been dating for like a minute and you already want to sleep in the same bed?"asked Raven.

"Well I mean,I want to cuddle with my girlfriend,"Beast boy cooed.

Raven flipped on her side,looking directly at Beast boy.

"Well if you wanted to cuddle why didn't you just say so?"asked Raven.

Beast boy flipped on his side and purred.

"Ok,just don't make that sound,"Raven said bluntly.

"What?I have animal DNA,I have to purr,"he said,purring louder.

Raven rolled her eyes,but smiled anyway.

"Whatever."

Beast boy smiled and slung his arm around her waist,closing his eyes.

"You know what Beast boy,"Raven said.

"Ya Rae?"Beast boy asked,eyes closed.

"This was the best date I've ever been on...even if it was in the rain..."Raven said.

Beast Boy smiled,"Same here."
