The ocean was covered in the grey heavy clouds it was almost impossible to see thru the thick smoke.

(Let's say that's his view of the ocean)

I hated staying in this village, I was always so curious about what was out there or who was out there. It's quite a trip, but I wanted to do it. Even with me knowing the risk of never coming back.

"Sir, Evan" I heard someone say.

I take a few steps back from my balcony before I gave them my full attention. "Yes?"

"Are you sure you want to wonder out there? It's a scary place and you're girlfriend wouldn't want you dead-"

"Tom. Don't worry about a thing, I'll be fine and I'll come back-"

My servant's hazle eyes wonder down into my chest, my arm and out my window. He was nervous and scared for me, but a life of an adventurer ment facing death every time.

"There's a tale....not to long ago" he paused and bites his lip slightly. "He was a younge man, that loved the water but never learned how to swim. One day while hanging around the deck waiting for his best friends arrival, he found himself looking straight into his enemies eyes. He put up a fight against thoes 6 males but it just wasn't enough, they beat him up for laughs and entertainment until one of them started to take things a little too far"

I was all over the place, why was he telling me this? Why now?

"What happen to the guy?" I asked, the sudden story caught my attention making me perk up.

"They dragged him to the end of the deck and pushed him into the wild crazy ocean. The waves crashed into him roughly making him fall into a big panic attack. He was already struggling to stay up, but now with the ocean pushing him down under water, made everything harder for the poor soul. Reaching up for air and trying to reach for something or someone to save himself with, but there was no use. The waves swallowed him and dragged him into the deep ends"

Someone murdered a man. Without me being aware of nun of this. Me sitting here thinking that my kingdom is safe and I never new about this.

"This was 5 years ago-"

"What?....Tom, how come no one told me about this?"

"You're parents thought it was dumb to tell you-"

"What was the point of you telling me this?" I snapped. "Was that suppose to change my mind on going? Well let me tell you, it didn't"

"I understand, sir and I won't lie to you....the ocean is dangerous and we're saying that it might be cursed or even haunted....by the guy"

"I don't understand why would you tell me his death" I said. He sighs and leans against the wall. "I was thinking maybe, if I told you that story it will change you're mind on going...but I failed"

"I'll be fine, I promise....I'll come back"

"Evan, please, I beg of you. Don't go" the blonde hair woman pleads. "Forgive me, but I have to do this" I slowly caught her wrist and and pulled her close to my body. Her soft brown eyes stare deeply into mine and I leaned in and kissed her softly. She melts into my arms and I slowly picked her up from the floor. Her feet dangled as I embraced her one last time before I take off.

"Sydney, love. I'll be back. Everything will be A-okay" I whispered to her. She says noting and slowly nods. "Be safe out there..." she whispered. "Of course, dear"

I walk towards the ship and see many man wondering around it, taking a feel of what is gonna keep them above water.

My parents where of course out there besides my girlfriend. Obviously, they hated me doing this but I think I'm a little old to be under my parents watch and control. I see all of my servant's and almost everyone from the town. I was guided inside the ship by a few of the man inside and I waited in the middle of the deck.

"Avast ye!" I called out. Everyone stopped and looked directly at me.

"Ahoy, me hearties, I'll be your host and the person that will guide you thru this ocean" I spoke.

"Yo Ho Ho! give it a round of applause for are new capt'n, Mr. Evan Fong!" A tall male says as he wraps his arms around my shoulder. "Most appreciated" I told him. The crowd inside the ship and the citizens surrounding it gave a big cheer and we all got into position.

We finally sailed off and I found myself smiling at my town. How it slowly disappeared and how small it looked from over here.

I small sigh escaped my lips and I take a deep breath, inhaling all of that salty air and the gentle wind ruffles my spiky hair.

I've never notice that it was getting dark already until something snapped me put of my thoughts. "Sir, capt'n! We need to batten down the hatches!" My heart sinks and I quickly look at my surroundings. It wasn't getting dark because it was late, it was getting dark because a storm is coming. "Shit..." I whispered to myself.

The waves crashed against the boat, making us fall. The strong waves pushed us around and they tried to pull us down, but this boat was much more powerful then it really was. I stumbled down the stairs and I fall to the cold wet deck.

The tall man that wrapped his arm around my shoulders picked me up quickly and pushed me against the wall.

"Stay here!" He yelled. "Protect capt'n Evan at all cost!" He ordered. The thick British accent lingered in my ears as the waves crashed into us. Many man run and quickly pull on the ropes that hang loosely. The tall man ran back and helped the rest of the man in aid.

I finally snapped from my dumbfounded action and ran quickly upstairs. I ran back to the wheel and saw two males struggling to keep it in place. I go to there side and with all my strength I grip on it. I growl and groan and I feel my muscles getting cramps from how hard I'm gripping the wheel. Both males looked at me and let go of the wheel. I take my stand to try to keep me in place from all of the shaking. Some waves got inside the ship but there was nothing to worry since it slides right off. I heard a few screams and I lost all control, I looked up and saw some guys fall off the ship and into the ocean.

"Man overboard!" Someone yelled.

Shit....

My eyes scan the area and my eyes landed on the biggest wave I've ever seen in my life. It went over are heads and I lost my breath.

My mind was blown but I quickly shake my head and I scream. "TAKE COVER!"

Everyone quickly graves onto something and looks down. I dock down and I felt the wave smack me in the back. I groan but manage to get control over the boat and take us far away from the storm.

Somehow, we made it. Maybe not all of us but there's still plenty of people that made it. I sigh and my crew cheers, I looked around and saw them clap and yell 'fuck Yea'. This was one of many things I could never get use to, no matter how many times I do them. It always takes my breath away.

Soaked, cold and tired I call out the other males on board to stop the ship. I let go of the wheel and looked at my surroundings. It was gorgeous, the place was amazing but I had no idea where we are at.

The golden yellow sky shined upon us as we stare at the large body of water. Even though we don't even know what's out there, it won't stop us from exploring, or so I told myself.
